About: There’s nothing like the excitement and joy of a dog when you walk in the door. Being their new friend, protector, and comfort when mom or dad is away is both rewarding and so much fun! Friends, families, neighbors, and acquaintances have trusted me to care for their pets as if they were my own. I rescued my own cat from a shelter and moved across the country with her, then later was a foster fail twice for a 3 week old rescue puppy, he’s now a 60lb lab-Pitt mix and a 4-week old rescue puppy that’s now a 50 pound husky German shepherd mix. The dogs and my cat are the best of friends and she definitely is the boss of the bunch! I have a fairly flexible schedule for walks and drop ins, especially in the park circle/ Hanahan/ North Charleston area! I work Monday-Friday and have a flexible hour lunch break for mid-day drop ins or walks and available on the weekends! With 3 fur babies of my own I’m unavailable for overnight stays but happy to drop in early in the mornings! Safety is a top priority and I protect the pets I care for as if they were my own! I also always want to make the feel safe and cared for! I’ve learned every animal is different and to take things at their pace , especially if it’s an adult animal and I’m caring for them for the first time and I’m a stranger essentially in their home without their family. If that means sitting on the floor and patiently wait for them to approach me to build that trust and really follow their lead !

About: I am recently separated from active duty in the Air Force, and looking for ways to help out the community during my transition. I have day to day experience with our needy cat, and experience when I was younger and our family owned dogs! I do not have any training experience, but I do have a 1 year old daughter, so I am patient and willing to learn and assist! During my time in the military, I learned skills of task management and attention to detail, so I will follow instructions diligently! I am transitioning into the reserves but currently have a lot of free time so I am very flexible until I start my full time job later this winter. For care in the clients home, I will follow any instructions. I am also very active, so if you have an active dog, I would be able to go for runs with them or take them to dog parks if requested.

About: I've had dogs all my life and am comfortable with all sizes and temperaments. I am able to administer medication and prepare food if needed. I am most comfortable with Senior dogs with low energy that loves to lounge but I can also brig the fun and playfulness for young energetic puppies! I am Currently a Hairstylist receptionist and assistant working from Tuesday-Friday 10am to 5pm. I am available nights and weekends to walk, play and spend the night with your fur baby. I am used to having a fenced in yard but I am comfortable walking around neighborhoods, dog parks or finding a walking trail to get your fur baby some exercise and get some energy out.

About: I am an all around animal lover. I grew up with a variety of pets - dogs, cat, turtle, hamster and more. I now have 2 goofy and crazy pit bulls who I adore. Being adopted - they both have their share of quirks. One of our dogs was very mistreated before she was in our care. She now struggles with being leash and dog reactive - and she can be tricky when meeting new people. Because of this - I know how stressful it can be to find a pet sitter you can trust. My dogs are like children to me, and I know the energy, love, and care they deserve. My dogs have truly changed my life and I hope that I can be someone that can give you a sense of peace while you are away. Because of my special pups - my home is not a good environment for boarding. I am open to Drop Ins, Walks, and the occasional overnight in your home. I would like to do a meet and greet before every first visit - to ensure that you, your pets, and I all feel safe and confident. One of my dogs has bad allergies and I give her medicine every day. I have a lot of experience with giving dogs pills. I do not have any other medication administration experience - but I am open to learning if this is something you would like. I took both of my dogs to training classes. First dog for 3 years - second dog for 2 years. So I have a basic understanding of commands and other dog behaviors. I work from home with sporadic in person meetings. My schedule is flexible and I am able to build it around appointments. The earlier you let me know the times you'd like for me to work - the easier it will be for me to mark off that time for you. I work a hybrid position where I mostly work from home and then also have in person meetings throughout the week. I set the meeting times myself - so my schedule is very flexible. I am able to check in on your pups throughout the work day and I have weekends off. I have two dogs of my own at home who are large and somewhat reactive to other dogs. Because of this, I do not feel comfortable watching your pets in my home. I would love to do drop ins - where I can come in, care for you pet, and give them quality time and attention. I am open to walking dogs as well, but I would prefer a meet and greet to go over walking details and if I feel comfortable walking more than one at once- or if your dog has any quirks I may want to see before the first walk. I am open to doing an overnight in your home - but I would prefer to have already met your pet a few times so that I feel comfortable and I would like to meet you as well to establish our relationship before staying in your home.

About: We’re a husband-and-wife team, both Marine Corps veterans and animal lovers. We have four cats of our own, so we know how much it means to have someone dependable caring for your pets. We both enjoy being outside and getting exercise, and we’d love to give your dog a fun, attentive walk. We’re currently working part-time while using our GI Bill benefits for school, which gives us flexibility for walks and pet visits. We’ll take time to learn your pet’s routine, follow your instructions closely, and send updates so you know how they’re doing. My husband and I both work part-time while attending school, which gives us flexibility to fit pet care into our weekly routines. We can coordinate our schedules to make time for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and litter box care. We’ll confirm availability with you before booking so your pet gets the care they need at the right time. We care for pets in their own homes, where they can stay comfortable with their familiar routines. Since we have four cats, we don’t offer care in our home. We’re happy to drive to your home, or walk over if you’re in the Park Circle neighborhood. During visits, we’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, and any other care your pet needs. We love being active and spending time outdoors, and we’re happy to walk, jog, or run with your dog if that’s what you prefer and what’s appropriate for them. For cats and other pets, we’ll follow their lead, whether they’re ready to play or would rather have quiet company.

About: I have cared for family and friends pets for my entire life and cared for my own by myself for over 2 years. I have experience in the veterinary field so I am confident in my ability to care for medically complex animals. I work full time currently in Mount Pleasant, however; my hours are flexible and I have the ability to take care of your animals at your home during my off hours. I currently have two cats in my apartment, they are fed wet food in the morning and night and given the correct medications and supplements needed morning and night. I also support their enrichment needs by daily playtime and providing toys and treats.
