“Sierra was absolutely amazing! She was available last minute and took such great care of my dog Bonnie. My puppy can be hyper, and very needy, Sierra handled her beautifully. Extensive walks, treats, play time, feeding time and lots of belly rubs! I will 100% hire her again!!!”

About: I work remotely from home so I can take extra great care of your pup! Frequent cuddles and potty breaks or just some dance breaks outside, perks of being home all the time! I have experience with large breeds such as Great Danes. I have children in the house, and no pets. Our back yard is completely fenced in. I work part-time and mostly work remote. I’m very active with letting dogs out as much as they want with going to the bathroom and playing outside. I’m very careful with making sure dogs are getting their exercise as well as using the bathroom as often as needed. They will always have water available to them, and I always make sure to watch them while playing. Our yard is large and fenced.
“Katrina was on time, detailed with a report as well as photos on her visit with Sullivan & took extra time to train him during her hour session with him. He really enjoys when Katrina comes over as she is really great with pet care! Highly recommend!!”

“Ying was very consistent with updates and photos of Sarah and Luna and they seemed to really enjoy her visits and attention. We feel very fortunate to have had Ying caring for our furry family!”

“Brandy was great with taking care of our two doggos! We recently left on a trip and while we were gone, one of our dogs got sick a few times in the house. She was so great with taking care of him and having to clean the mess. She has watched them numerous times and we know our dogs are always taken care of. Thank you Brandy!!”

About: For 8 years I have been caring my own pets. But for the past two and a half years I have been helping my neighbors care for their own. I let their pets out to use the bathroom and I give them food, water, and treats. I love to play with them and provide companionship. My longest customer had a senior dog who was deaf. I provide the love and care a pet needs when their owners are away. Mon, Fri, Sat: 9am-9pm Tue and Thur: 12pm-9pm Wed: 9am-4pm Sun: Unavailable I accept reoccurring services. I am available at anytime that fits in the schedule above. Thank You! I love to go on walks or even on nature walks especially when I have someone to go with me. I also love play with dogs. When asked I can give your fur babies food and I always give them water.
About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm caring for horses, cows, pigs, dogs, and other animals. That experience gave me a lifelong love of animals and a strong sense of responsibility for their care. Whether your furry friend is full of energy or prefers a quiet cuddle on the couch, I'll tailor my care to what makes them the happiest. I know how hard it can be to be away from your pet. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind by providing dependable, loving care while keeping your pet's routine as consistent as possible. I'll treat your fur baby like family, because that is what they are. I am currently working full time. I am available on the weekends and after 5 pm on weekdays during the school year. During the summer and school breaks, my availability is more open. I make sure to spend time with your fur babies to make sure they feel like they are cared for. They will get play time and attention.
“Rebecca was wonderful! She came to meet our three cats before we were going out of the country for almost two weeks and they took to her right away (even the very shy one sniffed her)! She was very thorough with checking in and out and made sure to send us pictures, which we loved and appreciated! I will absolutely hire her again next time we need a cat sitter!”

“ZaNayah has been awesome! Our two cats have some quirks and she's been taking amazing care of them. The pictures she sends are the best, they make our day while we can't be there to see the cats' shenanigans ourselves. There was never any doubt in my mind that our babies are in great hands.”

About: I started caring for furry family members of my coworkers and family members in 2001. I understand your pets need to stay home and enjoy their own space while their family is out of town. This helps alleviate their stress and calms their nerves during a time that is typically stressful for them. I have cared for mostly dogs who do not need to be walked regularly but I am willing and able to take your pets out for their walks. I work during the day, but work a remote position and can bring my work with me so your animals are not left during the day. I work a part time job in the evenings, but no more that 5 hours at one time. It is best to care for your animals in your home. It would be a very special circumstance to care for them in my home. But can be negotiated if needed.
“Alice was great! We were in town for spring break and had a day planned that required pup stay back. Loved being able to use rover on vacation. Alice took Jocko for a walk, playtime and sent sweet pics!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve spent over 8 years caring for dogs for friends, family, and neighbors, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. As a Great Dane owner, I’m comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I provide patient, attentive care tailored to each pet’s routine and personality, and I make sure owners stay updated with photos and messages throughout every visit! I have a flexible schedule and make pet care a priority. I carefully plan my days to ensure every pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, potty breaks, playtime, and affection while they’re in my care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medication instructions, and any special requests exactly as provided. I treat every pet with patience, love, and respect, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident while you’re away.
About: Hi! I’m an avid animal lover with a lifetime of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, along with birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, chipmunks, and even goldfish. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s truly who I am. I understand that our fur babies are special souls and cherished members of the family. When your beloved pet is in my care, they’ll be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. It would be an absolute honor to provide a safe, happy, and comforting experience for your baby while you’re away. My days start early — which means I have plenty of availability during the day, evenings, and on weekends. I love having that balance in my day, especially when it comes to spending time with animals. At home, life revolves around my two dogs — a standard poodle and a terrier mix — along with my two rescue cats, all adopted from different rescues. Caring for them is part of my daily routine, from morning feedings and walks to evening playtime and snuggles. My home is calm, loving, and pet-centered, and I truly enjoy creating a safe, happy environment where animals feel comfortable and cared for. 🐾 When caring for your pet in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I know how important consistency is, so I will follow your instructions closely — from feeding schedules and walk times to medications, play preferences, and bedtime routines. I’ll make sure your pet receives plenty of love, attention, exercise, and companionship while you’re away. Whether that means long walks, backyard playtime, enrichment activities, or quiet cuddle time, I adjust to your pet’s personality and energy level. I’m also respectful of your home. I’ll keep things tidy, provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind, and ensure your pet feels safe, secure, and cared for in their own familiar environment. Your baby will be treated like family every step of the way.
About: My whole life has always been centered around animals. Vacations included traveling to zoos and aquariums in other states. Many summers were spent going to zoology camps scrubbing buckets and prepping animal diets. I have an associates in general science and I am completing my education currently for a bachelors in science. I grew up surrounded by animals at home- furry, feathery, and scaley! I have always loved dogs and cats so this is a great opportunity for me to spend more time with creatures I adore. I volunteered at a local animal shelter for many years before I moved from New Jersey down to SC. Paired with going to a few zoology summer camps, I have lots of hands on time with animals of all kinds (up to cheetahs, elephants, and sharks!) I hope this shows that I will do my absolute best to take care of your babies while you aren’t home and will love them like they’re my own. I wouldn’t expect anything less for my animals when I have to leave them and that’s exactly what I want for your pets. Animals I have experience in personally caring for at home: dogs, cats, snakes, frogs, lizards, hermit crabs, saltwater and freshwater fish, hedgehogs, parrots/parakeets, hamsters, rabbits. I am more than willing to take care of any other pet you may have! I have a part time job as a barista with a varying schedule every week but I am available outside of those hours on both ends of my day. My schooling is 100% online so other than my work schedule I am fully available to your pets. I’m sure we can work something out with our schedules and I would love to be a part of your pets’ days. I will only be offering a limited number of services as well as accepting only a couple of clients at a time. I want to give each pet I meet the best care and all the attention they need.
“Emma has been caring for my dog for several years now and I honestly can’t recommend her enough. She’s super sweet, dependable, and really responsive. It’s obvious she genuinely loves animals. My dog Gracie gets sooo excited when Emma comes in the door. I always know Gracie is safe, happy, and well taken care of when she’s with Emma. She’s reliable, trustworthy, and someone I feel totally comfortable having in my home and looking after Gracie. Anyone looking for a kind, responsible, dependable pet sitter would be really lucky to have Emma!”

“Thank you so much for watching our boys over thanksgiving ! They were very well tended to, you were very good on times, and the house looked as if we never left. The boys loved all the cuddles!”

I highly recommend Mason. He took wonderful care of our cats with genuine care and affection. He was always on time, reliable, and made sure our cats were well looked after. We truly appreciated his dependability and would not hesitate to have him care for our pets again.

Sarah was awesome! She came and met Bear before sitting, which we really appreciated as first time Rover users. Best was spoiled the whole time we were gone, and Sarah was always in communication with us and updated with tons of pictures. Highly recommend and will 10000% have her as a sitter again. Thank you, Sarah!

Paul has been a great and reliable sitter for my 3 cats for a month now while I’ve been out of the country. He provided pictures every time and made sure all their needs were met, and followed up with me consistently in case he needed any thing for the cats. I had the pleasure having him look after my kitties and will surely be looking to work with him in the future!
Parker was an amazing cat sitter for our kittens. He connected with them pretty quick and it was clear they felt safe and cared for in his presence. By the next day, they were already seeking him out for attention. His gentle, patient nature really shined through. We will book him again for our fur babies, the next time we need a cat sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Goose Creek. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
