“Sierra has done so amazing with Oakley and is always extremely helpful and good! She responds quickly and can always help out especially when it’s last minute! Oakley is very energetic and can be a lot but she does such a well job walking and keeping him calm!”

“Josh did a great job taking care of my pup! I’ve used him many times prior to Rover and have always had good experiences. He communicates well with me and makes sure to give my pup lots of love and attention. My pup adores Josh and Bethany.”

“Jabrae filled in super last minute when I had a sitter who had an emergency and couldn't make my dogs drop in visit. She took him on a long walk and was in communication with me through the whole visit. I would absolutely book with her again!”

“Wendy is very attentive and communicative about her interactions with my dogs. I can tell she cares a great deal about animals, and I am grateful to have found a dog sitter that I can trust with my dogs well being!”

“Jodie - absolutely amazing! I was away from my new kitty for 9 days and she was absolutely what Char needed. Loved on, treats and some attention. Even before my time ended with Jodie I rebooked her for my next time I have to leave Char. Thank you so much Jodie!!!”

“My 3 girls IMMEDIATELY took to Alyssa! They are friendly dogs, but it was rather ridiculous that there was an INSTANT acceptance. 😊 However, that was all we needed to know she was trustworthy. They daily photos of them clearly cuddling and enjoying Alyssa made our absence easy. I will DEFINITELY look first at Alyssa’s availability for any future needs. We are so grateful for her wonderful care of our girls!”

“Lauren was amazing with our cat Violet! Violet is a very shy cat but Lauren managed to gain her trust and get Violet to come out and get some cuddles. We got updates and pictures everyday. Would definitely re-book Lauren in the future!”

“Rebecca is wonderful at communicating and even helped us out last minute on a holiday weekend when we had an emergency. I would highly recommend her for pet care! She takes such good care of my crew!”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover who grew up with dogs and cats my entire life. I am a proud cat owner who understands that pets are family. I've spent years dog-sitting for friends and caring for dogs with different personalities and energy levels. Whether your pup loves walks, playtime, or cuddles, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands. I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend! I currently work at a dentist office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Mondays and Friday I get off at 2:30pm at the latest. While Tuesdays and Thursdays I get off at 5:30 at the latest. Free during the weekends most of the time. I care for pets in their own home by maintaining their normal routine and making sure they feel comfortable and secure while you're away. I'll follow all feeding, walking, playtime, and medication instructions, provide plenty of attention and affection, and keep their environment clean and safe. I also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

“Kiersten did a wonderful job watching our three pups while we were out of town! Before we left on vacation, she stopped by to meet our dogs and discuss their routines. While we were gone, she sent us daily updates (and pictures!). It was clear that the pups were happy and well-cared for. Kiersten also handled a very difficult situation (a fight between the dogs) extremely well, and made sure that each dog was safe - we are so thankful for her quick and calm action. We absolutely plan to use Kiersten’s services in the future!”

“A HUGE thanks to Samantha. She was amazing. I was worried at first because Pickles gets separation anxiety and takes her a bit to get comfortable with strangers but in just a short amount of time Pickles grew to love Samantha! Pickles even let her pet her and that is huge! Samantha was so attentive and a great communicator. She always kept me up to date and went above and beyond. We definitely recommend Samantha to anyone and am glad to have found someone on Rover to trust on all my future trips. Thanks again for everything! You did an amazing job.”

About: I'm patient and loving towards fun, furry, creatures. Growing up, I had dogs all my life, and I'm currently a dog Mom to a Cocker Spaniel puppy named Phoebe. I currently live in Avondale within 5 minutes to downtown. Our home is very neat and tidy because we want to make sure our dog doesn't eat anything she shouldn't, so it is a complete safe zone for your dog. I've grown up with a large range of dogs, my first being a Labrador, as well as Boston Terriers and then later on, a 120 lb German Shepherd. I've also had many cats throughout my life and just adore them. * Dog-walking - please let me know of any parks in your area you usually walk your pup and for how long you'd prefer. * Please inform me of any medications needed for your pet. I have plenty of experience with medications due to my previous cat who was asthmatic.

About: I’ve had 1-2 dogs at a time my whole life and currently have 2 of my own. And I would love to help you out with yours! When your dog is with me I will make sure they are the main point of attention and are receiving all the love and care in the world. I am a very active and outgoing person so I will make sure your dog is getting plenty of exercise. I will also try to help with training if needed. I am a very flexible and laid back person so don’t be afraid to ask me any other questions or concerns you may have! Hope to hear from you soon and can’t wait to meet you and your pup!

Alyssa is awesome and very thoughtful! We never worry about our kitties when they are in her care. She always keeps in close communication and asks questions when we forget to include something in our care instructions. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs care for their animals!

Always reliable and responsive! My kitties love their visits with Joshua! He puts any Amazon packages into the house and was super nice to see something needed to refrigerated and reached out to ask if he could open and put in the fridge. That was totally awesome! We’ve used him 3 times and already have him rebooked for next get away!

Rainey is now my go-to sitter. I was so nervous leaving my cat, Mia, for the first time for a week long trip. It was the first time I’ve left her that long since I adopted her. Rainey was incredibly attentive to Mia’s need and love for attention, and communicative with me on how she was doing while I was away. 10 out of 10 will work with again!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
