“Trying was so attentive to my dogs Buoy & Earl! I could tell that from the moment they met her, they really liked her vibe! She was always very communicative whenever she was heading over, and let me know how they were doing! Plus, the photos on the Rover Card were just too cute! The house was always in order whenever she came by and played with them outside which I really appreciate it! The puppets can’t wait to see her again! Thank you Trinity!”

“Joshua was awesome on his drop-ins with our pups! They clearly enjoyed themselves from the pictures and we came home to happy pups and a (relatively) clean house! Joshua was even kind enough to bring in some packages for us. He is awesome! Highly recommend”

“Saffron was a great communicator and took extra good care of all my cats while I was gone. I had full confidence from the initial meet and greet and was not disappointed. 10/10 would recommend Saffron to watch your furry family.”

“Excellent stay! Jabrae went above and beyond, even taking our dog out for a bike ride to tire him out! We are absolutely thrilled with our stay and plan on using Jabrae for every vacation in the future. We could not recommend her enough.”
“Chelsa did such a great job on checking in our pup! She stopped by our house twice while we were out for the day and took him out and even fed him! She sent lots of pictures and he was the happiest pup! Would definitely have her again come and see the pup whenever we go out of town next.”

“Lauren was absolutely incredible caring for Pluto! She treated him like her own, kept everything spotless, and made sure he stayed on his routine. I got daily updates and the sweetest photos—such a relief while I was away. When I came home, Pluto was calm, happy, and clearly well-loved. I could tell he felt completely comfortable with her. I’m so grateful to have found someone I trust with both my pup and my home. Can’t wait to book Lauren again!”

“Kristin was a great sitter for my boy. She took good care of him and treated him as her own making sure all his needs were met and more. With her keeping me in the loop taking photos of them playing and getting into shenanigans I never felt I was gone. I would highly recommend her services.”

“I went looking for a Rover sitter very early in the morning and she had already updated when she was available. That alone convinced me to book her. The meet and greet went well and I knew that she would take great care of my babies. She is simply the best. My "vampire kitty" looked well cared for in the pictures she sent me. Next time I need a sitter, Mya will be my choice.”

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jordyn. She took amazing care of my senior dog, Lucky, who is both blind and deaf, and treated him with so much patience, love, and understanding. Before the actual sitting, Jordyn even came by to meet Lucky and go over his routines and special instructions, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing they truly cared about getting everything right. It’s not easy to find someone who understands the needs of an older pet, but Jordyn went above and beyond — keeping Lucky comfortable, calm, and safe the entire time.”

“Brandy was amazing with our babies!!! She was very responsive and very thorough when it came to what the pups did when she went to visit!!!! She kept us updated with everything that was going on!!! I will 100% be using her again and 1000% recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!”

About: I’ve always grown up with atleast two animals, so I have a huge soft spot for them! I know the ups and downs of dogs and cats! I usually work Mondays through Fridays at my job. I have time on weekends and mornings and nights through the week to watch and takeout dogs and cats! With caring for pets in my home I would keep them downstairs mainly in the kitchen and living room area, I have a large backyard for dogs to use and space to take for walks! With clients home I would ask what their preferred methods are!

“So pleased. Came back to find my dogs happier than ever to see me, but they were calm and relaxed. I will use Dawn again. What a good feeling to have a caring person watch your pets in their own home. Loved the picture updates!”

“I cannot recommend Savannah enough! She kindly took my request last minute and was absolutely wonderful with my cat, Romeo. She spent so much time playing with him and really went above and beyond to make sure he was happy while I was away. I loved that she sent me daily pictures and updates—it gave me such peace of mind knowing he was in such caring hands. Truly grateful for how attentive and thoughtful she was!”

“I simply love the fact that Victoria was able to sit for Raven with last minute notice. I was hoping to find something that was less expensive than boarding which was way more than my hotel for the 2 nights I was gone. Now with much more notice I have asked her again to fill in for me and stop by to feed and comfort her while I am gone. Thank you again Victoria for all that you do! Walter”

“This was the first time we had Gillian take care of our dogs and she did a great job. The dogs were fed and medicated on time and played with, which is very important as one of our dogs has severe separation anxiety.”

“Tara watched Maddie, Skullie and Ruger for a long weekend. She showed up on time, kept me updated about everyone and did a great job. Ruger has separation anxiety and refused to eat as well as had a couple accidents. Tara was very thoughtful and contacted me a few days after my return to make sure he was back to normal. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Tara again to watch our “pack”.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in West Oaks. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
