“Shawna is such a lifesaver! I was worried I would not be able to find a consistent, reliable, and affordable dog walker that I could trust to take care of my dog while I am at work. Shawna leaves great updates about her time with my pup and I highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve owned and cared for both dogs and cats for most of my life, and animals have always held a special place in my heart. I’m attentive, patient, and dedicated to making pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m also happy to accommodate any special needs, medications, or routines your pet may require. As a retiree with open availability, I have plenty of time to provide reliable, loving care for your pets. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and pet sitting in your home so your pets stay comfortable and stress-free in their familiar environment. I provide Pet sitting in your home so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I follow feeding schedules, provide walks, playtime, medication if needed, and lots of attention and care. I treat every pet like family and make safety, cleanliness, and communication a top priority.
About: I volunteer at the Charleston Animal Society and work primarily with dogs. I have worked with staff on training dogs as well as making enrichment toys. I have worked for different families to help care for their dogs while they are at work or out of town. I currently volunteer at the Charleston Animal Society but that is flexible so I can make time to be available to take care of your pets. Since I have 2 cats, I would care for client's pets in their home. I treat all animals as if they are my own and how I want my cats cared for when I am out of town.
About: I have a big fenced in backyard where I spend most of my day working, so your dog will have plenty of space to run around. I’ve taken care of/had pets of all kinds my entire life, I think they are just an absolute joy to be around and always seem to brighten my day. I have experience with pets of all ages and would consider myself quite good at training. I also tend to get along with even the most timid or grumpiest of pets, it’s all about the energy you give off. I work from home as a furniture maker, I’m usually outside working in my backyard all day. I work for myself so my schedule is very flexible. I have always enjoyed being around animals, I worked at a doggy daycare and have spent much time volunteering at animal sanctuaries. I hope to open my own one day! Your dog/cat will get treated like my best friend :)
“Audrey was amazing! She responded super quickly and was able to help with a last-minute walk. Great communication and my dog had a great time. I’d definitely book with her again!”

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 5 years old! My neighbors often ask me to walk/dogsit. I have experience keeping care of dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages! I am a MUSC student off for the summer, so my schedule is open almost every day of the week! I will be available from morning to night almost all days! I live in a condominium that has a nearby dog park. I also already have an extra dog bed and some toys. However, I personally don’t have any dogs living with me now.
About: I’ve grown up taking care of animals and will become your pets new favorite sitter! I love any breed of dog and can win over any cat I meet. I currently have two cats and live with my roommates two dogs. I would love to snuggle and spend some quality time with your fur baby. 🫶🏼 I’m currently in Physician Assistant school and about to start clinical rotations. I can do drop in visits before 8:30am and after 5pm. I have transportation and can drive anywhere to take care of your pet. I have two cats and dogs, so I will only be available to come to your home to take care of your pet. I can feed, snuggle, and crate your pet.
“Jenessy has been wonderful to work with! She’s reliable, a great communicator, always on time, and spends time every walk playing fetch with my dog. I know Doris is so excited for her walks thanks to the great care Jenessy provides. Highly recommend!”
“Heather walks my dog several times a week. It’s usually last minute that I contact her and she always obliges. My dog and I can’t thank her enough for all of her help she’s given us since downloading this app. I don’t use any other dog walker.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and proud cat + dog mom who truly treats every pet like my own. What sets me apart is my deep, hands-on experience with dogs of every life stage — from tiny puppies to wise seniors. I used to breed dogs, so I’m very comfortable with young litters, potty training, socialization, and all the playful chaos that comes with puppies. On the other end, I cared for my own dog through her golden years until she was nearly 14, so I know how to give seniors the gentle care, extra patience, and comfort they deserve. Whether it’s a bouncy puppy who needs structure, a senior who just wants soft bedding and slow walks, or a cat who prefers calm companionship and playtime on their terms, I bring patience, consistency, and genuine affection. I’m based in Charleston and love exploring local spots for safe, enriching walks and adventures. Most importantly, your pets will feel safe, loved, and well-cared for — because to me, they’re family too. I am currently working but I have off every Wednesday and a few Monday and Fridays. I would love to do this full time eventually. I will make sure to follow your specific instructions for your individual pet needs. Every dog and/or cat will be treated like my own.
“Appreciate the time she came over to meet my dog before. My dog is very shy/ particular with people and Evangeline did an amazing job with her. Will definitely be using her in future!”

Woodhaven dog parents share their Rover experiences
I was very nervous to use Rover but since I have to stay late at work occasionally, I wanted an option for my dog. Sam has been so great with Charlie. He’s very flexible and communicative. He’s been letting her out once a week and it’s really put my mind at ease. He always sends me a picture and gives me a little update. He was also very patient and understanding of me being nervous to let someone else take care of my dog. I know my dog Charlie really likes him as well.

Rowan loves her "Auntie Kristina" as we love to call her. Kristina is so loving and kind with our pup - she loves her like its her own dog. We trust her implicitly to take care of our pup when we're not around. Rowan can be shy and hesitant to walk people (other than us) and Kristina is consistently patient! If she can't get Row on a walk, she makes sure she still gets some good backyard time and a ton of snuggles. 10/10 would recommend Kristina for all your dog needs!

Isabelle was great! Attentive and friendly. Snoopy enjoyed his time with her and we appreciate her so much! We were able to enjoy lunch while on a quick getaway to beautiful Charleston & Snoopy got his steps in. Def recommend and will def be securing with Isabelle on our next trip.
