Safety, trust & environment

I understand how important trust is when someone is in your home. I follow instructions closely, keep spaces tidy, and make sure your dog feels safe and settled. I’m comfortable with crates, medications, senior care needs, and “quirks” that make your pup unique.

Information Kristina O. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, routines, medical considerations, triggers, or behavioral quirks that I should be aware of. The more I understand ahead of time, the better I can make them feel safe and comfortable. Ideally, I love to both discuss these details verbally and have them written down for reference. Having instructions in writing ensures I can follow your preferences exactly — especially when it comes to feeding schedules, medications, house rules, or anything unique to your pet.

A typical day

I absolutely love spending time outdoors, so a typical day really depends on what your pup enjoys most! I’m happy to go on neighborhood walks, play fetch, or simply let them relax in the sun while I work outside, keeping them company and making sure they’re safe and comfortable. I’m a big believer in enrichment and mental stimulation. With your permission, I love incorporating simple, safe activities like freezing a small treat (or a splash of low-sodium chicken broth) in an ice cube for them to lick and enjoy. I’ll also sometimes wrap treats in a towel for a fun “snuffle” game, which can provide amazing mental stimulation (they say it can be comparable to a long walk!). I feel strongly that a happy dog is a fulfilled dog. Just like humans, they need both mental and physical stimulation. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels engaged, cared for, and relaxed by the end of the day.

Pet care experience

I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember, but my first dog as an adult was a rescued boxer from Austin Boxer Rescue during our time in Texas. We had her for 10 years, and she completely stole my heart (and ran our household, if we’re being honest). She was sassy, loyal, and full of personality — and she taught me just how deeply these dogs become family. I was definitely the type to leave detailed instructions — though I eventually managed to get them down to one neatly typed page in Microsoft Word 😉. I cared deeply about her routine, and I bring that same level of attentiveness and respect to your dog. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means I can offer consistent presence for pups who prefer companionship throughout the day. If you have a senior or couch-loving dog who just needs someone calm to lounge nearby, I’m your girl. If your pup enjoys walks and staying active, I’m happy to keep them moving. (Full transparency: I’m not a marathon runner, so if your dog needs 5-mile training runs, I may not be the best fit — but brisk walks and neighborhood adventures? Absolutely.) I’ve casually helped friends and neighbors with dog sitting for years and have been incorporating it more intentionally into my routine since 2015, especially within my neighborhood. I’m currently not in a place to have a dog of my own, so caring for others’ pups truly feels like the next best thing. My style is calm, attentive, routine-based, and communicative. I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, medication routines, crate training preferences, and any “quirks” that make your dog uniquely them. I’ll send updates so you can relax while you’re away, because I know firsthand that peace of mind matters. Your dogs are family. I treat them that way.

Kristina was excellent with our two dogs Timmy and Winnie. She was very communicative and followed our instructions. She was understanding of the dogs personalities and catered to their needs, including being very patient with our reactive dog Timmy.

If you have the chance to book with Kristina, don’t hesitate! She is professional , a clear communicator, and always makes everything feel easy and stress-free. My dog Mia absolutely loves her, which gives me so much peace of mind. We’ve used her multiple times and she has been incredibly dependable every single time. She shows up when she says she will, follows instructions carefully, and truly treats Mia like her own. It’s clear she genuinely cares and that level of trust is priceless when it comes to someone caring for your pet. I can’t recommend Kristina enough!

Leaving our dog with someone new is always stressful, but Kristina made the entire experience seamless and worry-free. From the meet-and-greet, it was clear how knowledgeable and passionate she is about animals. I couldn't be happier with the service! We will absolutely be booking with her again!
