“Fran took good care of my cat and provided timely status updates to me. I was initially nervous when she mentioned a dog in the house at the same time which was not communicated previously, but it all worked out. In the future I recommend letting the pet owner know if there will be additional pets especially since this can be a safety issue. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service.”
About: I work from home, and I am able to provide constant supervision, homemade treats, daily exercise, dog park adventures, and a friendly playmate in Alvin my Boston Terrier. I work from home Monday through Friday 7 AM to 5 PM which means your dog will have plenty of attention, supervision and companionship through the day with my Boston terrier Alvin who loves making new friends and enjoys having a playmate during the day. We typically take (3) 15 minute walk through the neighborhood each day and visit the Charleston County Dog park for about 45 minutes most afternoons, giving the dogs extra time to socialize, explore and exercise. Alvin is my first dog and I’ve dedicated a lot of time to learning and caring about his canine needs I have gone online and taking dog training courses and Alvin has learned lots of fun tricks Alvin and I are also learning to paddleboard. My house feature a fenced in backyard (fence is new) and a doggie door leading into a sunroom, giving dogs the freedom to move between indoor and outdoors. I also have a 12-year-old cat, who prefers to stay in the master bedroom but does have some interaction with the visiting dogs. Your pet safety and comfort are my top priorities. Freshwater is always available in large bowls that are clean daily and refilled multiple times throughout the day. I also keep basic pet care on hand. Alvin is friendly playful and enjoy spending time with other dogs. We take regular neighborhood walks and visit the Dog park several times each week allowing additional exercise, and socialization. While I’m comfortable on routine care instruction I’m not able to administrate medicines that require special handling or medical procedures. Please discuss any care needs before booking to ensure I can provide the best experience for your pet.

Weston can be a bit timid, but he felt comfortable with her right away — which gave me so much peace of mind. She kept in touch throughout his stay with thoughtful updates and sweet photos, and it was clear he was in caring hands the entire time. “I can only really know how things went for my cat Teacup when she is boarded by how she behaves once she’s back home. After her 2 night stay with Natasha she seemed happy to be home, but otherwise very calm. Unlike other times when she meowed non-stop for 2 days as if she were trying to tell me all was not as it should have been. This time she hardly meowed at all. Natasha and her 2 daughters seem comfortable with both cats and dogs which of course reassures their guests that they are safe and loved. For Teacup that is everything. I think Teacup wouldn’t mind a return visit in the future. I can recommend Natasha for cat boarding.”

“Sharon (and her husband Mike) were absolutely wonderful with our cockapoo, Millie, and are an incredibly nice couple who truly enjoy dogs. Millie stayed with them for 5 days/4 nights so that we could visit relatives in MA. They bonded with her immediately at our Meet and Greet and nothing was too much for them during her stay; they made sure she got lots of tummy rubs and couch time combined with frequent games of fetching balls in their great backyard, sending frequent photos. Millie and their Heidi ended up being happy companions - after an early spat when Millie thought her dogfood was in danger - but Shannon and Mike quickly got that sorted out. They are very careful about dog safety which I really appreciate. Millie will definitely be returning!”
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child. I now have two of my own. My dogs are my family, and I make sure they are well cared for always! I will care for your dogs like my own. I am in between jobs, so I have lots of time to spend with your pet. I will make sure they always have lots of attention and love, providing them with plenty of walks and play time. Your dog will have access to lay on my couch and roam freely through the common areas. While I don't have a yard, we do lots of walking!

Amanda and her husband were absolutely amazing with our high energy golden retriever puppy! Our first interaction with Ananda was warm, and full of thoughtful questions to make sure they were the best fit for our dog. During our trip, Amanda was communicative, sending morning and evening updates with photos and made us feel so comfortable, knowing he was getting the best possible care while we were away! A special shout out; our puppy is apparently a bit of a diva and absolutely refused to walk UP the stairs to their home, so they carried him every time he needed to go outside, which is just so above and beyond! We’re so thankful for their flexibility (and athleticism!!) and can’t think of anyone we’d rather leave our pup with during future trips!
