“Kathy was a great host to my pup. She was very professional and took great care of Ollie. She sent updates / photos regularly which was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend her to anyone, and would be glad to have her watch Ollie again!”

“Fran took good care of my cat and provided timely status updates to me. I was initially nervous when she mentioned a dog in the house at the same time which was not communicated previously, but it all worked out. In the future I recommend letting the pet owner know if there will be additional pets especially since this can be a safety issue. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service.”

“Zach was wonderful with our two dogs! He was responsive, sent pictures and updates, and really attentive with them. He even took them up to their favorite dog park. We'll definitely have Zach watch our pups again!”

About: I’m a registered nurse with a lifelong love for dogs, which means safety, reliability, and attention to detail are always my top priorities. I had my own dog for 14 years, so I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, including administering medications, recognizing changes in behavior or health, and providing extra patience and comfort. Having moved here from Philly, I truly miss having a dog of my own, so I treat every pet I care for like family. I’m calm, observant, and dependable, and I’m especially comfortable with routines, special instructions, and pets who need a little extra care or reassurance. Whether it’s walks, overnight stays, or drop-ins, your dog will be safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. As a nurse, I work three 12-hour shifts per week, which gives me several full days off where I’m completely available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care.I plan my schedule carefully and only accept bookings I can fully commit to, so your pet will always get consistent attention, exercise, and care. I’m happy to work around your dog’s routine and communicate clearly so you always know your pet is in good hands. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or yours. As a nurse, I’m highly attentive, detail-oriented, and trained to notice subtle changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels. I carefully follow all routines and instructions provided, including feeding schedules, medications, leash preferences, and house rules. In a client’s home, I respect your space and keep your pet’s environment clean, calm, and familiar. In my home, pets are supervised, never left unattended for long periods, and kept in a secure, comfortable setting. I use leashes at all times outdoors unless otherwise instructed and avoid dog parks unless explicitly approved. I prioritize clear communication and will provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first.
“Chloe was a wonderful sitter! She was able to watch my dog, Kona, on short notice after my original pet sitter canceled, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She sent plenty of updates, photos, and videos throughout Kona’s stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. She even took Kona and her own dog to the county park one morning! I would definitely recommend Chloe to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter :)”

“Keri did a wonderful job watching our Milly! She came home calm and happy and Keri kept me updated throughout her stay. Will definitely use her again for our next trip! Thank you!”

“Absolutely amazing. She kept me updated even when I couldn’t respond. She responds very quickly and she’s beyond nice and generous. 10/10 would recommend her. I wouldn’t want to trust anyone else with my dog after leaving him here. Thank you Natasha you’re amazing.”

“Amaris was FANTASTIC! I had to book her last minute due to a family emergency, and she was such a great communicator. She also sent me pictures everyday recapping the day and my pup was smiling in all of them. 10/10 recommend. Thank you Amaris!”

“Our pup had the best time!!! Carla took incredible care of him, gave us daily updates and even gave a bath at the end of his stay. He didn’t want to come home at all haha. If you’re looking for responsive and attentive sitter, Carla is your lady!”

“Sasha is absolutely wonderful!! Super easy to work with, flexible, and responsive. She sent the most adorable photos and videos which made being away from my dog a little bit easier. My dog seemed so happy and relaxed when I picked him up. I feel really lucky and relieved to have found a great sitter like Sasha- already booked my next boarding! Highly recommend!”

“Nick was great! He communicated in timely manner, very flexible, friendly, and took excellent care of Cooper. We will definitely be using him for all of our future boarding. Highly recommended!”
“Alyssa was phenomenal! My dog can be a bit energetic (understatement…) upon meeting new people, but Alyssa stayed super calm while my dog ran in circles around her house until she finally wore herself out. Alyssa was kind and gracious and sent lots of pictures and loved on my crazy pup like she was her own! I truly cannot recommend her enough!”

“We had a great experience as always! My dogs absolutely love Jack and Faith including my more nervous pup who typically has a hard time without me. I receive frequent pictures and updates and great communication - highly recommend!”

“Laura was a great sitter for my 4lb poodle, Weston. From the start, she was attentive, kind, and clearly experienced. Weston can be a bit timid, but he felt comfortable with her right away — which gave me so much peace of mind. She kept in touch throughout his stay with thoughtful updates and sweet photos, and it was clear he was in caring hands the entire time. When I picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I’m so grateful to have found Laura and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter.”

“Kathy took great care of my cats while I was away, even busting out the laser pointer to give them some exercise. They both seemed happy, healthy, and (in typical cat fashion) disinterested in the fact I was gone upon my return. Definitely recommend Kathy!”

“Alexis was extremely dependable and helpful, especially when it came to assisting with cleaning up after Crypto. She didn’t hesitate to step in when needed and handled everything with care and professionalism. Her reliability and willingness to help made a big difference, and I’m very grateful for her support.”

“Rachel was so great! She came over the Friday before we left to meet our kitten Rumble McPurrface and took her time and was very patient with Rum until she came out from under the bed. By the end of the visit Rum was rubbing on her legs and playing fetch. Rachel gave us twice daily updates which set my mind at ease because we hate the thought of our little girl being lonely at home. Thank you Rachel! We will definitely have you watch Rum again!”

“Sara was a phenomenal cat sitter, and we were so grateful that she was able to accept our booking the same day after our original sitter canceled. She took wonderful care of our two cats while we were away, they warmed up to her quickly, and we truly appreciate everything she did! Thank you so much, Sara!”

“Audrey took a major stress point off of my shoulders by checking on my cat Tyrion. Her service was top notch and from her first text, I knew she was very engaged with his needs. She went above and beyond to communicate the status of his visit which was important to me. I recommend her highly and I plan on booking her again the next time Tyrion needs some TLC.”

“Isaiah was great! He was reliable and got along great with my cats. I ended up fostering another cat temporarily, and Isaiah did a great job with that cat too. I’ll definitely hire him again when I go out of town for New Years!”

“Jenna is an extraordinarily kind and patient person. She has a natural chemistry with Eddy…our 3 year-old Frenchie. He really responds to her loving and genuine excitement to see him during her daily visits. Jenna is always on time and communicates extremely well. She has a high level of commitment to do things right. I trust her implicitly.”

“Jenna did an amazing job taking care of my two doggos while we took an out of town day trip! I really wanted someone we can trust to ensure my 16 year old shitzu is calm and comfortable while we’re away … he’s developed separation anxiety on top of having dementia and is half blind and deaf now and can work himself up into a tizzy when we’re away from the house for more than an hour! I am so thankful that Chewy was well taken care of and it was such a relief not to worry about him! We will definitely work with Jenna again!!”

“Christina and her husband took great care of our pup this weekend while we toured wedding venues around the Charleston area. She sent updates and pictures throughout the day and made time to play fetch even though it had rained earlier in the day. Sunnie slept our whole drive back to Charlotte so I can tell that she had a great time. 10/10”

“If I could leave 1000 stars I would she was absolutely amazing. Sent me pictures updated me throughout the day. I’ve never felt more comfortable leaving my dog with somebody before and every time I come to Charleston, I will be booking with her overall the best experience I’ve had.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. From walking, to dropping in, to overnight stays, I’ve done it all! I have experience with dogs as young as 8 weeks old and as old as 18 years old. I have a dog of my own now! He’s very kind and loves all animals. He will be present during all stays at my home. Happy to schedule a meet and greet to ensure our pets get along! I’ve been in Charleston for almost 3 years and work from home for an advertising agency in Manhattan. However, I can never be too busy and I would love to take care of your animals in my free time. I have a very organized home with a yard. I am an incredibly responsible caretaker and punctual to your schedule and your dog’s needs. I work from home so I am able to provide thorough care.
“Natasha was great! She was quick to communicate, open and easy to work with. She was very responsible and help put an anxious pet parent at ease!! We received updates throughout the day. Highly recommend!”

About: Hiii! Whether it’s your pups dream staycation, drop-in visits with extra loves, or puppy training needs- you’ve found your girl! I am an avid animal lover and have won over every doggie heart and have a special touch with even the craziest of kitties. I was fostering puppies from the Colleton County shelter before I joined Rover, and I can assure you after rehabbing, training and finding those puppies their forever homes; your animals will be a walk in the park! Personally, I have two dogs 9 & 5 and one kitty. My older pup had a back injury when she was 2, so I’ve dealt with all types of special care for pups who need a bit of assistance as well as administering medications, etc. My animals are my children and I would take care of someone else’s babies as my own! 🐾 I work from home and the pups always have access to go outside to the fenced in backyard! I focus on long walks or adventures in the evenings that get my pups worn out leading into the following day while I’m at working. The huge fenced in backyard is a huge bonus for activity throughout the day!! Bare minimum one walk a day, feeding morning and night, my dogs roam the house while I’m gone but they are trained and older- I can follow instructions easily with preferred schedules(:
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes since I was 10. Growing up in the Philippines, I regularly helped take care of my neighbors’ pets, as well as pets belonging to friends and family. I’m dependable, patient, and treat every pet like family. 🐾💕 I’m a stay-at-home mom, so I have a flexible schedule and can give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available for boarding, walks, and drop-in visits on weekdays, depending on my schedule. I enjoy spending time with pets and making sure they get plenty of exercise, playtime, and companionship. I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with plenty of nearby space for walks and outdoor time. I have a friendly 6-year-old cat and a 9-month-old baby, so I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I’m attentive to pets’ safety and needs and will make sure they have a comfortable, calm, and supervised environment while they’re in my care.

About: Hi! I'm Rachel, a recent College of Charleston graduate with a B.A. in psychology. I have spent the last 16 years raising and caring for dogs. Animals have always been a significant part of my life, as my family dog even helped me take my first steps. I started dog sitting in my neighborhood when I was 10 years old and haven't stopped since. One neighbor invited me over every Tuesday to meet her new foster puppy of the week, which is how I adopted my first puppy, Rocky. During my senior year of high school, I got my second dog, Sadie, who has taught me as much as I have taught her. My experience extends beyond my pets, as friends and family come to me for help with training their new puppies and to take care of their pets while they are away. Whether you have a playful puppy or a sweet senior, I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages. If you're looking for a sitter who truly understands dogs and will love your pet as if they were my own, I’d love to help! I am currently looking for job opportunities so my schedule is wide open. Let me know what works best for you and your pet, and I will be happy to accommodate your needs. I live in a two-bedroom condo with my 9y/o dog Sadie, who loves having new friends around. I also have a neighborhood dog park just a short walk away, where I take her to run around and get her energy out. We also have lots of great walking paths and parks around us to explore. Whether your dog stays with me or I care for them in your home, I can follow your routines and will prioritize their safety and comfort above all else.
About: I’ve had two English Bulldogs for over 15 years, which gave me firsthand experience with everything from puppy energy to senior care. Back home in Philly, I also babysat family friends’ dogs of all kinds — Golden Retrievers, Labs, Pitbulls, and more — so I’m comfortable with all sizes, temperaments, and activity levels. On top of dogs, I’m also the proud “uncle” to my brother and his fiancée’s two kittens, so I know my way around cats just as well. What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to each pet’s unique needs: Puppies: potty training, leash training, and safe play. Senior pets: slower walks, medication reminders, and gentle care. Bulldogs / special breeds: I understand breed-specific needs like breathing issues and joint sensitivity. Since I work fully remote, I have the flexibility to give pets plenty of attention, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets like family — because that’s exactly how I’ve treated mine for over 15 years. I work fully remote and have a very flexible daily routine, which gives me plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. I take a full hour lunch break every afternoon, which is perfect for walks, drop-ins, or playtime. Since I’m home during the day, I can give lots of attention, snuggles, and regular potty breaks for pets in my care. Evenings and weekends are wide open for longer walks, overnight care, or boarding. Whether you need a midday drop-in, daily walks, or someone to keep your pets company overnight, I can adjust my schedule to fit your needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment where they’ll feel at ease. I’m mindful of keeping doors secured, removing hazards, and making sure pets have access to fresh water, safe play areas, and plenty of attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect I’d want for my own. I follow all instructions closely — from feeding schedules and walk routines to medication or special care needs. I send regular updates and photos so you feel connected and reassured while you’re away. With over 15 years of experience around dogs (including Bulldogs, Retrievers, Pitbulls, and Labs) and cats, I understand how to adapt to different temperaments and needs. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or requires a little extra patience, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for.
“Charles B. was willing to watch our dog Zeus last-minute while we were on vacation and kept in contact, giving updates throughout the time he watched him. We really appreciate his kindness and flexibility!”

“Michael was so wonderful. He promptly responded to my request for a dogsitter, and he showed such genuine care throughout all of our interactions. Not only was he open to my dog boarding at his home, but he was also welcoming and gentle to my dog child as he adapted to him, his cute puppies, and his home. He cooked dog treats, went on regular walks, gave my dog steady potty breaks, and shared great pictures with me. I really felt that C.Lo was in the safest of hands, and that was much needed. I appreciate Michael and his quality service.”

“Dom was wonderful to Marlin for a last minute booking. He kept me informed and sent multiple pictures. He even had a bedroom for just Marlin if needed. Can’t thank him enough for his love and attention he gave my dog!”

“Thank you Kyler for an amazing dog sitting experience! You truly are the dog whisperer of Mount Pleasant. Scout is going to miss being with you and all of his dog friends he made this week. Between all of the walks and trips to the dog park he is one very satisfied guy! The beautiful photographs and videos you sent really gave us peace of mind and a lot of enjoyment to view! I can go on and on how great this experience was for us! Scout can’t wait to see you again in May!”

“Rachel was wonderful! Took great care of Trooper, he seemed to love her and her dog Sadie who is an absolute angel. She sent picture updates every day and made me feel very comfortable. Will definitely be booking again!”

“Gracen and her husband did a fantastic job watching our dog for the weekend. He must have been very active all weekend because he slept for an entire day after we got home! Gracen was very responsive and extremely kind and helpful. We absolutely will be booking with them again!”
