About: Hi! I’m Rachel, a lifelong dog lover who hasn’t gone a single day without a dog by my side. Over the last 16 years, I’ve cherished every moment of raising my own dogs and sharing that same love and care with every animal I meet. My pets have helped shape who I am, and my childhood dog even helped me take my first steps. I started dog sitting in my neighborhood when I was 10 years old and haven’t stopped since. One neighbor invited me over every Tuesday to meet her new foster puppy of the week, which is how I found my first puppy, Rocky. And since having one dog wasn’t enough, I adopted Sadie during my senior year of high school. Over the years, friends and family have come to me for help with training their new puppies and caring for their pets while they’re away. I am an avid animal lover and have won over every doggie heart and have a special touch with even the craziest of kitties. I was fostering puppies from the Colleton County shelter before I joined Rover, and I can assure you after rehabbing, training and finding those puppies their forever homes; your animals will be a walk in the park! Personally, I have two dogs 9 & 5 and one kitty. My older pup had a back injury when she was 2, so I’ve dealt with all types of special care for pups who need a bit of assistance as well as administering medications, etc. My animals are my children and I would take care of someone else’s babies as my own! 🐾 I work from home and the pups always have access to go outside to the fenced in backyard! I focus on long walks or adventures in the evenings that get my pups worn out leading into the following day while I’m at working. The huge fenced in backyard is a huge bonus for activity throughout the day!! Bare minimum one walk a day, feeding morning and night, my dogs roam the house while I’m gone but they are trained and older- I can follow instructions easily with preferred schedules(:

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, most recently caring for my family’s three dogs. About: I volunteer at the Charleston Animal Society and work primarily with dogs. I have worked with staff on training dogs as well as making enrichment toys. I have worked for different families to help care for their dogs while they are at work or out of town. About: Kind, caring, gentle. High energy and I like nothing more than going for a good long walk. I enjoy getting to the beach. love being around dogs. I love to play and very open to cuddles. Just recently retired (young) so I have a lot of new found time on my hands. Flexible schedule for the most part. Weekends are also ok for my schedule. Have permits for Sullivan's ansld go there almost daily. I am very outdoorsy. I enjoy going for long walks but equally as happy staying in. I have a fenced in yard. I am firm but playful.
