“Kathy was fantastic providing exceptional care for our boy Hero. We got regular updates with pictures and they treated him like one of their own. We will definitely use Kathy again in the future.”
“Fran was so awesome. She babysat my little gremlin Grub while I went overseas. I don’t live in Charleston; it was just the city I happened to be flying out of and I was so worried about who could look after my dog in a place where I didn’t have any friends or family. I found Fran on rover and couldn’t be happier! Her home is so sweet and comfy, with beautiful, well-maintained grounds for safe dog walks all around it. Fran was a joy to talk to and work with; she did an excellent job of keeping up communication throughout my travels, despite some technical issues on my end. I could tell my pup was treated like Fran’s own baby during her stay and I am so grateful 🥰”

“Zach was wonderful with our two dogs! He was responsive, sent pictures and updates, and really attentive with them. He even took them up to their favorite dog park. We'll definitely have Zach watch our pups again!”

“My 13 yr dog had never been kept by anyone but family. Kathryn B made her feel at home and sent me Photos and updates which made me feel good about Her comfort. She was very friendly and we had a pleasant meet and greet prior to the stay. This was Avery favorable experience and I recommend her 100%”

“Chloe was a wonderful sitter! She was able to watch my dog, Kona, on short notice after my original pet sitter canceled, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She sent plenty of updates, photos, and videos throughout Kona’s stay, which gave me so much peace of mind. She even took Kona and her own dog to the county park one morning! I would definitely recommend Chloe to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter :)”

“Our pup had the best time!!! Carla took incredible care of him, gave us daily updates and even gave a bath at the end of his stay. He didn’t want to come home at all haha. If you’re looking for responsive and attentive sitter, Carla is your lady!”

“Laura was a great sitter for my 4lb poodle, Weston. From the start, she was attentive, kind, and clearly experienced. Weston can be a bit timid, but he felt comfortable with her right away — which gave me so much peace of mind. She kept in touch throughout his stay with thoughtful updates and sweet photos, and it was clear he was in caring hands the entire time. When I picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I’m so grateful to have found Laura and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter.”

“Our two older boys came with us to Charleston for a family vacation. Our accommodations were not pet friendly but I wanted them to be nearby as they can be anxious when alone for extended periods. Anna and her husband were great and kept us updated on our boys all week. I could tell they felt right at home. She made sure they had what they needed and her home was great for my boys and similar to what they were used to at home. She sent me frequent updates and photos throughout the week. We appreciate her loving them like her own and will definitely use her services again if in the area with the pups! I recommend her for any family who wants their pups to be safe and happy while they are vacationing- I had peace of mind the whole time we were away!”

“Gabriela was amazing! Mav will definitely be going back to her. She kept me updated with photos and little messages, took Mav on so many walks and was so accommodating with travel disruptions! Always a good feeling when your dog comes home happy and healthy from the dog sitters! 🙂”
“Connie was absolutely amazing! She pampered our pup and I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her. Connie is very kind and trustworthy. Would definitely recommend!”

“Alyssa was phenomenal! My dog can be a bit energetic (understatement…) upon meeting new people, but Alyssa stayed super calm while my dog ran in circles around her house until she finally wore herself out. Alyssa was kind and gracious and sent lots of pictures and loved on my crazy pup like she was her own! I truly cannot recommend her enough!”

“Very happy with how my two cats, Ziggy and Sid, did with Natasha for 6 days. I especially liked the updates and pictures, it made me feel more comfortable and less guilty. Highly recommend.”

“Sasha is an outstanding and dependable dog sitter. I had to travel unexpectedly for work and was fortunate to find her available on Rover the day before. She kept me updated with daily photos and videos, which gave me complete peace of mind knowing my dog was happy and well cared for. Thank you, Sasha, I truly appreciate it and look forward to booking with you again!”

“Cali had a great stay with lots of walks and meeting new friends. We were sent tons of pictures with Cali on walks and hanging with friends. We were delayed on our way back and Richard was great and understanding of our situation and was happy to keep Cali until we could pick her up. Would definitely go back and would recommend to friends and family!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter! Emily kept us updated with plenty of photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. If you're looking for a loving and reliable Rover sitter, I recommend Emily and Tarek without hesitation. We'll definitely be booking with them again. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Gunner!”

“Rachel was so great! She came over the Friday before we left to meet our kitten Rumble McPurrface and took her time and was very patient with Rum until she came out from under the bed. By the end of the visit Rum was rubbing on her legs and playing fetch. Rachel gave us twice daily updates which set my mind at ease because we hate the thought of our little girl being lonely at home. Thank you Rachel! We will definitely have you watch Rum again!”

“Audrey took a major stress point off of my shoulders by checking on my cat Tyrion. Her service was top notch and from her first text, I knew she was very engaged with his needs. She went above and beyond to communicate the status of his visit which was important to me. I recommend her highly and I plan on booking her again the next time Tyrion needs some TLC.”

“Christina was amazing with my puppy Freddie! She is clearly very experienced with dog watching and did an amazing job. Freddie had a great day, and I really appreciated the photo updates. “If I could leave 1000 stars I would she was absolutely amazing. Sent me pictures updated me throughout the day. “Jenna did an amazing job taking care of my two doggos while we took an out of town day trip! I really wanted someone we can trust to ensure my 16 year old shitzu is calm and comfortable while we’re away … he’s developed separation anxiety on top of having dementia and is half blind and deaf now and can work himself up into a tizzy when we’re away from the house for more than an hour! I am so thankful that Chewy was well taken care of and it was such a relief not to worry about him! We will definitely work with Jenna again!!”

About: Hiii! Whether it’s your pups dream staycation, drop-in visits with extra loves, or puppy training needs- you’ve found your girl! I am an avid animal lover and have won over every doggie heart and have a special touch with even the craziest of kitties. I was fostering puppies from the Colleton County shelter before I joined Rover, and I can assure you after rehabbing, training and finding those puppies their forever homes; your animals will be a walk in the park! Personally, I have two dogs 9 & 5 and one kitty. My older pup had a back injury when she was 2, so I’ve dealt with all types of special care for pups who need a bit of assistance as well as administering medications, etc. My animals are my children and I would take care of someone else’s babies as my own! 🐾 I work from home and the pups always have access to go outside to the fenced in backyard! I focus on long walks or adventures in the evenings that get my pups worn out leading into the following day while I’m at working. The huge fenced in backyard is a huge bonus for activity throughout the day!! Bare minimum one walk a day, feeding morning and night, my dogs roam the house while I’m gone but they are trained and older- I can follow instructions easily with preferred schedules(:
“Natasha was great! She was quick to communicate, open and easy to work with. She was very responsible and help put an anxious pet parent at ease!! We received updates throughout the day. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I'm Rachel, a recent College of Charleston graduate with a B.A. in psychology. I have spent the last 16 years raising and caring for dogs. Animals have always been a significant part of my life, as my family dog even helped me take my first steps. I started dog sitting in my neighborhood when I was 10 years old and haven't stopped since. One neighbor invited me over every Tuesday to meet her new foster puppy of the week, which is how I adopted my first puppy, Rocky. During my senior year of high school, I got my second dog, Sadie, who has taught me as much as I have taught her. My experience extends beyond my pets, as friends and family come to me for help with training their new puppies and to take care of their pets while they are away. Whether you have a playful puppy or a sweet senior, I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages. If you're looking for a sitter who truly understands dogs and will love your pet as if they were my own, I’d love to help! I am currently looking for job opportunities so my schedule is wide open. Let me know what works best for you and your pet, and I will be happy to accommodate your needs. I live in a two-bedroom condo with my 9y/o dog Sadie, who loves having new friends around. I also have a neighborhood dog park just a short walk away, where I take her to run around and get her energy out. We also have lots of great walking paths and parks around us to explore. Whether your dog stays with me or I care for them in your home, I can follow your routines and will prioritize their safety and comfort above all else.
“Rachel was so kind and accepted a very late request for daycare the following day. She communicated very well and we worked out a last minute plan for Dexter to stay with her while I visited a relative in the hospital.”
“Emily and Tarek were absolutely wonderful with Zuess. You can tell right away that she genuinely cares about dogs and pays attention to their personalities, not just the routine parts of care. Zuess came home happy, relaxed, and clearly very loved. She kept me updated, made me feel comfortable while I was away, and treated him like he was her own. 5 stars <3”

“Tate had the best day hanging out with Anna and her dogs! Anna was very attentive and sent me updates throughout the day, which I always love. Tate will definitely be back!”

“Here’s a polished review you can use: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Dog Sitter! I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog received. From the very beginning, she was professional, reliable, and genuinely caring. My dog was comfortable, happy, and well cared for while we were at dinner, which gave me complete peace of mind. I appreciated the regular updates, photos, and communication throughout the stay. It was clear that my dog received plenty of attention and affection. I returned home to a relaxed and happy dog. I highly recommend Carla to anyone looking for trustworthy, loving care for their furry family member. I will definitely book with her again! 🐾💙”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a little kid and have always loved playing with them, walking them, and just loving on them! I’ve got a 3 year old corgi named Gus of my own and he loves to play and go on walks with other dogs. I’m a nurse at MUSC and my schedule differs every week, but I can be flexible when able! I walk my dog multiple times a day and we play in the dog park at my apartment as well as on the beach. They can play together or I can keep my dog completely separate from your pup! I’ve also got plenty of safe space around me for long walks with your pup!

I have experience with pets of all ages and would consider myself quite good at training. I work from home as a furniture maker, I’m usually outside working in my backyard all day. I work for myself so my schedule is very flexible. About: I’m a registered nurse with a lifelong love for dogs, which means safety, reliability, and attention to detail are always my top priorities. I had my own dog for 14 years, so I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, including administering medications, recognizing changes in behavior or health, and providing extra patience and comfort. Having moved here from Philly, I truly miss having a dog of my own, so I treat every pet I care for like family. I’m calm, observant, and dependable, and I’m especially comfortable with routines, special instructions, and pets who need a little extra care or reassurance. Whether it’s walks, overnight stays, or drop-ins, your dog will be safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. As a nurse, I work three 12-hour shifts per week, which gives me several full days off where I’m completely available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care.I plan my schedule carefully and only accept bookings I can fully commit to, so your pet will always get consistent attention, exercise, and care. I’m happy to work around your dog’s routine and communicate clearly so you always know your pet is in good hands. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or yours. As a nurse, I’m highly attentive, detail-oriented, and trained to notice subtle changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels. I carefully follow all routines and instructions provided, including feeding schedules, medications, leash preferences, and house rules. In a client’s home, I respect your space and keep your pet’s environment clean, calm, and familiar. In my home, pets are supervised, never left unattended for long periods, and kept in a secure, comfortable setting. I use leashes at all times outdoors unless otherwise instructed and avoid dog parks unless explicitly approved. I prioritize clear communication and will provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first.
“Great communication from John throughout and super flexible which we appreciated! Our dog clearly had a blast with him and came home very tired :) We'll be back! Thanks again.”

“Gracen and her husband did a fantastic job watching our dog for the weekend. He must have been very active all weekend because he slept for an entire day after we got home! Gracen was very responsive and extremely kind and helpful. We absolutely will be booking with them again!”
