I really wanted someone we can trust to ensure my 16 year old shitzu is calm and comfortable while we’re away … he’s developed separation anxiety on top of having dementia and is half blind and deaf now and can work himself up into a tizzy when we’re away from the house for more than an hour! Animals have always been a significant part of my life, as my family dog even helped me take my first steps. I started dog sitting in my neighborhood when I was 10 years old and haven't stopped since. One neighbor invited me over every Tuesday to meet her new foster puppy of the week, which is how I adopted my first puppy, Rocky. About: I’ve had dogs since I was a little kid and have always loved playing with them, walking them, and just loving on them! I’ve got a 3 year old corgi named Gus of my own and he loves to play and go on walks with other dogs. I’m a nurse at MUSC and my schedule differs every week, but I can be flexible when able! I walk my dog multiple times a day and we play in the dog park at my apartment as well as on the beach. They can play together or I can keep my dog completely separate from your pup! My apartment is very dog friendly and there is a big dog park in my complex for them to play. There’s also a smaller fenced in park in case they’re not very social.
