“There's only one word to describe our experience with Andrew: "Wonderful!" We met Andrew at a stressful time. We had just learned of an unexpected death in the family, and had to leave town on short notice. He jumped right in to help. We have two dogs. One of them, our AmStaff mix (Grizzly), is usually very suspicious of new people. He took to Andrew like a long-lost friend. Andrew asked all the right questions, showed up on time, and took great care of our dogs and our home. In particular, he was quite conscientious about communicating with us, consistently letting us know how everything was going. That really helped to take uncertainty and worry out of our lives at an already difficult time. When we returned home, the dogs were happy and the house looked just like it should have. We're grateful that Andrew came to our rescue in a time of need. As a bonus, we now have a "go-to" sitter anytime he's available in the future. We recommend Andrew very highly.”

About: I love dogs, I grew up with wonderful big dogs and when I became an adult I got a big dog of my own. I adopted an Alaskan sled dog/wolf mix. She is incredible active and wild at heart. It took a ton of consistency to get her trained. This has given me great insight in to what doggos need to be health and happy. Often we as humans have to adapt to them just as much as they adapt to us. I walk for exercise daily. I work remotely and have flexible hours. I want to help those families that don't have that flexibility but have pups at home that need to get out and run. I will do trail and beach walks. Preferably getting a dog in the car and bringing them to the beach or trail head as many of the roads around here are not pedestrian friendly. I love dogs and am willing to work with them and their families to provide whatever level of care they need. For now I am starting as a provider of walks, because I think this is where I can be most helpful and impactful. If I build a relationship with the pup and family I will possible venture further to animal sitting.

About: I've cared for pets for 16 years now (since high school). I currently own a cat and have owned dogs as well. I am a full-time second grade teacher with love for all children and animals. I look forward to meeting your fur babies! I am available for full-time pet care starting June 10, 2024. As of right now, I have availability between 3:30-9:30 pm Mon-Fri and all day on Sat/Sun. I teach, so my schedule is pretty strict, but I am usually home before 3:30 on weekdays! I also have a few random days off throughout the year. I have a cat, for whom I feed three times a day and empty her litter box each evening. I also care for my parents' dog on occasion by traveling to their home. I'm happy to stay overnight with your fur baby and tend to him/her per your instructions!
