I learned early on in babysitting to always leave the clients’ home as clean or cleaner than I found it. I like to hang out with dogs and snuggle them for a bit and I’ll bring stuff to do while in the home. I enjoy taking dogs for long walks to get out all that energy and get some exercise and sunshine myself.

A typical day
Playing fetch, lots of belly rubs, and lots of snuggling! When my son is there, he loves to run around with the dogs and maybe play tug of war with a rope toy or something.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was about 13 and started babysitting. It was always part of my job to take care of the family dog(s) and I always saw it as a perk of the job! I love to play, snuggle and walk dogs. I had my own Chocolate Lab/Doberman mix for about 10 years and have experience with basic training and teaching a few tricks. My 10yo son will often be with me while caring for dogs and he is a big part of why I decided to start Rover. He absolutely LOVES all dogs and is on a mission to pet every single one of them. The only reason we don’t have our own dog is because we already have 2 cats and that’s enough animals for my apartment!

Erika was easy to work with and took great care of our dogs
Erika was wonderful with our Bernese Mountain Dog. She is high anxiety over change and while we were welcoming our first baby, she was very on edge. Erika was quick to update us throughout the duration she stayed in our home. Plenty of updates as well and photos and videos! Will use Erika again in the future.
Showed great care towards our dog scout while we were away. Would defiantly recommend she came over and got to know scout and us prior to the overnight it helped to put scout and us at ease.
Erica was wonderful! I had her house sit for me with my German Shepard and kitten and she went above and beyond to make sure she knew all of their needs. She stayed with them and gave them lots of attention. She was very good and giving me updates and pictures. I will definitely be using her from now on! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
