“Our two older boys came with us to Charleston for a family vacation. Our accommodations were not pet friendly but I wanted them to be nearby as they can be anxious when alone for extended periods. Anna and her husband were great and kept us updated on our boys all week. I could tell they felt right at home. She made sure they had what they needed and her home was great for my boys and similar to what they were used to at home. She sent me frequent updates and photos throughout the week. About: I have lived with and loved dogs since I was born. I have best fur friends of my own. Sari and Basil. Both are comfortable around others; we are all excited to be around other pups of all sizes. I have an extremely flexible schedule and a welcome home. I live in a house in West Ashley that offers plenty of space as well as a huge fenced in yard, a park nearby which we will visit and plenty of walk ability. About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was born. I currently have a four year old dog of my own, so I know the importance of pet care; from walking, playing, and training. I work from home Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM which allows me the flexibility to fit pet care into my daily routine. About: I’ve spent my whole life caring for animals, and nothing makes me happier! I work with horses professionally, and have also raised, fostered, and trained puppies and kittens. We love big dogs, small dogs, many dogs, any dog! I’ve taken dogs on roadtrips across the country, on horseback rides, on boats and kayaks, and countless adventures! My partner and I suddenly find ourselves without a dog of our own, so we would love to welcome yours into our home. We have a safe, comfortable, child-free, single story house with a doggie door onto a screened in porch and a fenced in yard. We live on a cul-de-sac with awesome neighbors and several wonderful pups, so if your dog is social they can make many friends! And if they’re not, our backyard is fenced and private. We’re more than happy to have them on our couches and beds (as long as that’s allowed at home) and we also have a crate if that’s where they feel safe! We are comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, or anything in between, and I have basic veterinary skills that allow me to administer oral medications as well as intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as needed. My partner works from home, and I am currently between seasonal jobs, so our lives are well suited to revolve around pets! We have a doggie door that leads to our fenced in yard, so dogs can take themselves out as they like, and cats can access the screened in porch. I also love taking walks through our neighborhood, which has safe streets as well as wooded trails and access to several creeks if anyone wants to swim! The cul-de-sac is also perfect for throwing a ball or frisbee, if your dog is into that kind of thing. We spend most evenings at home snuggled up on the couch, which has plenty of room for four legged guests (: Our home is safe and child-free, and (unfortunately) does not currently have any resident pets. We live on a cul-de-sac set far back in our neighborhood and have access to several wooded trails and marsh creeks. About: I’ve had various pets my entire life- dogs, cats, reptiles (a bearded dragon named Elvis), fish, rabbits, a ferret that I inherited when my sibling passed away, and even a bird that I rescued. Kim & Dylan were very accommodating & attentive to Reba & Willow. Reba can be a bit nervous and Willow can be a bit over excited and they made both dogs feel comfortable. Both dogs were very happy & tired when I picked them up. I highly recommend Kim & Dylan and I would not hesitate to use them for doggy daycare (again) or boarding.”

The rest of the time will be spent on play time and cuddles so your cats are getting attention while you have to be away. About: Caring for animals has always come naturally to me. From a young age, I was the one looking after our family pets, and that love only grew over time. In 2020, I welcomed my own dog, Hoss. He quickly became my best friend and a true part of my family. Because of that bond, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care, and I treat every dog and cat I watch with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. Hoss now has a younger brother, Dooley, an English Springer Spaniel with a sweet and easygoing personality. Together, they help create a calm, welcoming environment for visiting pets. They love to play when another dog is interested, but they are also very respectful of dogs who prefer space, rest, or a quieter visit. My husband and I own a house in West Ashley with a doggy door that leads to a big fenced in backyard that allows the dogs to romp around. I have hands-on experience with puppies, including the patience and consistency needed during teething, house-training, and early routines. They are used to having animals come and go in our house through fostering rescue animals. Animals are treated like family in our home and are allowed on furniture. I can also easily crate your dog if needed while I am away from the house.
