DOGS & CATS DOGS DOG WALKING Includes a minimum of 30 minutes at your home with your pet, with outdoor walking time, play time (indoors or out), and feeding time all conducted within that 30-minute time frame. Additional time increments of 30 minutes can be added at the time of booking for an additional fee. DOG DROP-IN Includes a 30-minute visit with your dog at your home, including a short potty break outside of your home. It's important to book dog WALKING services if you wish to have the visit include an extended walk. Please make the distinction at the time of booking between Dog Walking and Dog Drop-In. (One includes an extended walk and the other includes a short potty break outside.) In times of extreme heat or other weather conditions (such as pending storms, etc.) it's important that I structure my appointments in such a way that I'm not spending all day every day out in three-digit heat indexes. (I thank you in advance!) Important for apartment dwellers and those with an HOA: I bring my own poop bags and dispose of the waste in approved locations within your neighborhood. I ALWAYS pick up the dog waste so no one gets hit with fees by your apt complex or an HOA. CATS Cat services include a drop-in visit with your cat(s). While there, I'll feed and check water supplies and clean feeding area as needed. The rest of the time will be spent on play time and cuddles so your cats are getting attention while you have to be away. I am American Red Cross certified in Pet CPR and First Aid and carry a pet first aid kit to all drop-in and visits.
Information Robin J. would like to know about your pet
It's important to let me know about each of your pets: 1. Any health issues and medications/times for each pet in the household. 2. Any mobility issues for each pet in the household. 3. Any points of contention with regard to territory ("don't touch the dog's blanket," food bowl, etc.) 4. Typical meal times and how much to feed. A measuring device is the best thing you can provide me if I'm feeding your pet. 5. Favorite kinds of toys (balls, puzzles, chasers, etc.) 6. Favorite place to go #2 (The approximate location of your dog's Poop-vana.) 7. Your dog's heat and cold threshold. I'd like to know in advance how hot you feel is TOO HOT for the dog to be exercised outside (either heat index or actual temperature). Or how cold is TOO COLD to spend 15-20 minutes outside. On those days we'll spend that time getting some indoor play time in place of that extended walk.
A typical day
Dog Drop-In Includes a visit indoors with your pet. We will pop outside for a short potty break and then head back indoors to have some indoor play time, eat, replenish water supplies, straighten up the dog's area of your home. Play time or snuggle time - or both - are important on drop-in visits. (Pls note dog walking is an entirely different service so if you'd like a little of the above AND dog walking, weather permitting, please select "Dog Walking" as your service upon booking.) Dog Walking Includes a little of everything listed in the Drop-In service but also includes getting the dog out for some walking exercise, weather permitting. (Rainy walks are possible with your permission as long as your dog has a rain coat that has a bill to protect their eyes and isn't afraid of the rain.) Typically, walking constitutes about 15 minutes of the total 30-minute visit with your dog. Of note: adding a second dog to your service will add an additional 30 minutes to the total visit, giving each dog its own Drop-In visit or Walking visit for a total of 60 minutes. Important for apartment dwellers and those with an HOA: I bring my own poop bags and dispose of the waste in approved locations within your neighborhood. I ALWAYS pick up the dog waste so no one gets hit with fees by your apt complex or an HOA. Please see my Cat Care information to discover the routine daily visit care available for cats in your family.

Reviews

Robin is the best of the best!

Robin is absolutely the best. Our dog is so high maintenance & she was so patient with her. She made sure all the animals felt loved. I can't recommend her enough!

Robin put our mind at ease by taking care of our girls for a full week. Very communicative, warm, friendly and super loving to our babies. We received updates and cute pictures every day. Couldn’t ask for a better experience and are extremely grateful for Robin!
We love having Robin watch our kitties. She is kind and thorough, very detailed oriented and pays careful attention to instructions. I have a certain peace of mind when I know that Robin is taking care of them.
