My family has always had dogs of varying personality types, so I am well aquatinted with both calm and anxious dogs! I have pet sit for my family and friends many times, and I understand the importance of being receptive of the dog and/or dog owner's needs!

Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable, safe, and stress-free while their owners are away. Depending on the dog's needs, I able to take them on plenty of walks or runs! I'm also happy to stay overnight in a client's home if needed.

We adopted a rescue who had a great deal of anxiety and behavioral issues. Caitlin was a savior helping us with walks during my work days. She had a dog with some issues so understood how to manage our dog’s reactivity to other dogs and how to make our dog more comfortable with her when she walked her. She helped us introduce our dog to new people and new dogs because Caitlin didn’t show the anxiety in those situations like I did. I couldn’t have done it without her. We are sad she had to leave for grad school. Our dog misses her terribly.
Caitlin did such a great job caring for my dog! She was dependable, attentive, and made sure my pup was well taken care of while I was away. She kept me updated, followed everything I asked, and I could tell my pet was comfortable and happy with her. I would absolutely trust Caitlin to care for my dog again!

Hi! I'm a responsible and dependable dog lover currently attending medical school at MUSC. Growing up, my family always had dogs, and they've been an important part of my life. Since starting school, I don't get to spend time with my own dog, which has made me appreciate every opportunity to be them! I would love to help Charleston-area pet owners whether it's walks, playtime, or overnight care in your home! My schedule can vary based on class or exam demands, but I can be available at various times of the day and most weekends.
