About: I've had dogs since I was very little. Very comfortable with anything from small and anxious to big and jumpy. Currently have 2 cats at home, a very young senior and a old kitten. I am a full time graduate student with some intermittent periods of free time and am always looking to take a study break and go hang out with some pets. Im currently a Doctorate of Physical Therapy student at UVM. So whenever I'm not in class I'm free to spend it with your furry friend. Since I have cats, I always make sure my home is pet safe and there isn't anything around that could hurt them or get them sick.

About: Hi, my name is Hailey and I am a college student at UVM looking to make some extra money while I can. I have had animals my whole life, both cats and a dog, so I have plenty of experience taking care of animals! I am high energy so going on walks won’t be an issue and I even look forward to it. I also am very comfortable with all sizes of animals so whatever works for me! I have also pet sat before so I am comfortable taking care of an animal. About: I am a trained wildlife biologist and I have had pets (dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils) my whole life! I have previously been employed and the Humane Society and Bloomingrove Vetrinary Hospital where I was professionally trained to take care of pets. This includes daily walking, feeding, and cleaning, as well as monitoring behavior and administering medication. I am currently working part time, so I have some weekdays free to provide pet care. I am also home most weekends for house sitting. I spend quality time with pets and make sure they get the stimulation they need! I also ensure that they are in safe situations and that I am vigilant when other animals/people are around.

About: I’ve been taking care of various animals since I turned 13. I’ve been trusted to walk multiple dogs at one time, care for senior cats and administer medicine to special needs animals. I have a big love for all animals and make sure to give every pet the love they deserve. I’m heading into my junior year at the University of Vermont studying wildlife/fisheries biology and animal science. About: Past work experience at a small-but-mighty no-kill shelter (Animal Resource Center in Bloomsburg, PA). Over the years, I've lost count of how many times I've played Fairy Dogmother, but I truly never get tired of it. Pets are family, and when folks entrust me with caring for their babies while they're away, I take that seriously! In addition to work experience, I'm a past volunteer for Charleston Animal Society, and my own dog, Zelda, and I are a certified therapy dog team with Alliance of Therapy Dogs (ATD). My work is fully remote and I'm fortunate to have some autonomy in how I structure my day, so I can generally be fully present and swiftly responsive to your pet's needs. (My partner works in-office, so I may occasionally need to pop home to attend to my own pup's meals or potty breaks.) All Charleston Animal Society volunteers who wish to work directly with adoptable dogs must take a short safety course, and I've successfully passed this with flying colors. I'm experienced with administering oral medications. At the moment, I'm training for an ultramarathon, so if your pup is high-energy, you've come to the right place.

About: My name is Mary Rose and I find being friendly, caring, compassionate, and attentive around dogs to be effortless. I cared for my own wonderful tri-paw West Highland terrier through his life, managing a strict three-meal per day schedule and medications (he was a very sensitive boy!) and it was all a joy to do. I have particular experience working with older dogs and dogs with disabilities. The Rover community in the Burlington area is amazing to work with and I've loved every dog I've cared for here. Because I work remotely from home, I have flexibility to spend lots of time with your pup. I look forward to meeting some new dogs and getting to know their unique personalities! I have a very flexible schedule and am available for lots of different setups. Working remotely means I can keep an eye on your pet close by. I get my work done and love having a little napping dog next to me on meetings! I have free time for longer walks, availability to go for quick trips outside, and to sit with your pet to make sure they are happy as can be! Before caring for your dog, I would like to hear everything you do for your dog so that they miss nothing but YOU while you are away. Preparing a space to be free of hazards, ensuring we have plenty of food, water, and toys, and getting to know how your pet typically interacts with a space are a given for me. Every dog and family is unique, and I plan to honor your needs in full! I am experienced in caring for older dogs who need extra help getting around or taking medications and happy to follow that routine for you.

About: I have experience taking care of a large variety of pets over the past 5 years, including a greyhound rescue with specific health care needs, socializing and tiring out younger dogs, and experience with senior dogs and the mobility/health concerns that come with age. I have cared for both dogs and cats on many overnight stays as well as on walks and adventures. I love exercising and getting out in nature just as much as I love relaxing with cute animals, so I am ready and able to provide versatile care for your pet and consistent communication with clients. About: I've owned family dogs for the past 20 years and have been walking friends/neighbors dogs for 2 summers. Alongside my family I have trained our 2 year old pit bull. I love all breeds of dogs I'm currently a student and working part-time during the week. I have full availability during the weekends to play and take care of your pets and availability before 11am during the week. I have a one floor house with no other pets, a little park right outside my house and a wonderful neighborhood to go on walk in. I have the room to be able to crate your pet if needed and three dog loving roommates who can give snuggles whenever needed.

About: Hey! Im Skye! I’m a senior at the university of Vermont studying political science and history. I’ve had pets from gerbils to horses my entire life and have cared for pets with special needs, disabilities, and aggression. I would love to spend some quality time with your pup or kitty whether it be snuggling all day or going for a hike! My number one priority is your pet’s safety and well being. —— Open to boarding smaller or low energy dogs, must be okay with cat in house. My schedule varies, but I work from home most of the time. If im watching your pup it will be a day I work from home so I can give them attention throughout the day. If watching a pet in your home, I follow the provided instructions, while ensuring to keep everything clean and tidy. If boarding in my home, your pet is welcome to the entire apartment, when supervised, and will mostly hang out in the living room or my room. Pets are allowed on couches and beds. We do have a cat in the home that will ignore the dog as long as it is not aggressive towards her.

About: My family has had dogs since I was 14. Out first dog was a German Shepard and second a German Shepard/Husky mix. Currently my Sheppard Husky mix resides in North Carolina staying with my mother as we were worried how he would do with a big move. I have always loved dogs and their companionship. It would be a privilege to take care of another’s fur baby. I currently have the sweetest little dachshound that I rescued in September of 2024 and we have been inseparable ever since, he is truly my child. I take my dog Beanie on longer walks about 2x a day and shorter ones through the day. I am mostly available on Fridays and weekends and after 5pm on Monday - Thursday My yard is not fenced in but there are many dog parks and safe places to play in my neighborhood. I love taking long walks and they are even better with a fiery companion.
