About: I've been surrounded by dogs of all types my whole life, from dog-sitting for family friends to getting my own dog 7 years ago. I'm very comfortable with all breeds! Currently a full-time student at UVM. I have a car, and I'm willing to work between classes or anytime during the week after classes. Available on weekends. I'm available Monday & Wednesday after 3:30, Tuesday & Thursday after 2:45, and Friday after 1! Currently living in a dorm, so I cannot board dogs or pet-sit overnight. She was found on the streets of Tennessee but we love her like a blood human relative, she has always had health issues so I am well equipped to take care of all types of dogs. She is full of energy and rambunctious even at 13 years old, so I know how it is to walk/play with dogs like this! I removed a star because she had a last minute mix up with her work schedule and texted us the morning we were leaving to let us know she could not come within the agreed upon time window, which left us scrambling calling neighbors and friends asking for backup. She ended up getting her work schedule moved around to make it work, which we really appreciated, but she was not able to stay the full 30 minutes at that time. This delayed us leaving on our trip by about two hours, which was a challenging start for us. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs nearly my entire life, and have served as one of the primary caretakers in my family for almost all of the dogs we’ve had. I’ve taken care of dogs of all types and ages from puppies to seniors and chihuahuas to huskies I work on a contract basis and have more free time than time I’m working. We have three cats, one of which is a tiny old one-eyed man named Minion who is scared of everything and everybody. He only comes out at night or at dinner time. Charlotte not only saw our little guy, but got him to sit on the sofa next to her! If that's not an indication of her trustworthiness, I don't know what is. We've used Charlotte several times, most recently for a two week stretch. She updated us regularly with photos and notes. The cats were well fed and given plenty of attention. She even washed the towel in the laundry room when one of the cats had an accident! Definitely hiring her again and highly recommend her.
