About Christine T.
Communication
Dog skills
Safety, trust & environment
I will adhere to standards of wishes of pet owners (not sleeping on sofas/beds, returning to a crate etc) to keep pets safe and secure. Our dogs were crate trained and our current one will responds to the command of “go to bed”. I believe the safety and comfort of your pets - and any they come in contact with on walks - is top priority.
Information Christine T. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know ahead of time if your pet has any special needs or considerations. I also like to reward positive behavior with treats or play time. I will confirm that either/both of these rewards are okay before providing service.
A typical day
I find that dogs have their own timeline and consistency for all ages is key so they know what to expect when they see me. First and foremost is to “do their business” then move on to playtime activities the owner says they enjoy. Walking, fetching, small training sessions or even cozy snuggles are my specialty.

Trustworthy pet (and kid!) mom
Pet care experience
For 20+ years I’ve bounced around and helped take care of pets of all sizes for family, friends and neighbors. Now looking to expand on that by joining Rover to help fulfill some personal goals as all of my children (3 furry and 1 human) are getting older. I have puppy experience and took training classes to help with consistency, potty habits and positive reinforcement for each of the puppies we adopted. Last year, our 10-year-old lab mix became blind, and I have learned to navigate this next chapter with her. We currently have one dog and two cats (one lazy, one feisty!) - and often times all will be found snuggling close on the sofa or in bed with me.
Reviews

The best sitter around!! 10/10 would recommend.

Christine is a cat sitter who goes above and beyond. Her first and foremost care is for the wellbeing of your creature, made evident by her patience, creativity, and willingness to drop in extra times when our cat became territorial while we were away. She checked in with us about bringing her own tools and treats, and had the experience to win over our cat. We are so, so grateful to her for how thoughtful, persistent, and kind she was in the face of a hissing beast! We highly recommend Christine for her compassion, clear communication, and willingness to get the job done with care.

Christine took excellent care of our cats and provided great updates every day!

Christine was so wonderful with our cat, Slinky. She was super communicative about her timing and provided the best photos and updates. We’d have her back in a heartbeat!
