Pet care experience
Animal lover w/ lifelong experience
I’ve lived with and helped care for my family’s cats throughout my life, and dogs since we adopted our first in 2016. Since childhood, I’ve enjoyed pet sitting for friends, family members, and neighbors whenever I’ve had the opportunity to do so. I’ve mainly looked after cats and dogs, but I’ve also taken care of rabbits, guinea pigs, and a couple of different types of lizards when I was younger. I have some experience with training my family’s pets, and lots of experience with giving love to animals of all kinds! I donate 5% of my profits from each Rover booking towards humane societies and animal rescue organizations. Since I’m currently a student and don’t have a full-time job, the remainder of the money I make on Rover is set aside and used to afford care for my own cat :)

Safety, trust & environment
I recognize that every animal is unique and has their own wants and needs, and it’s important to me to ensure that your pet is as comfortable, happy, and healthy as they can be while you’re away! I’m happy to follow any instructions you have to care for your pet and your home. If there are any particular precautions you want me to take, or if there’s anything else I can help out with (e.g. bringing in mail, putting out trash cans, etc.) while you’re away, just ask!

Awesome sitter😊❤️

Ashton was super attentive to my kitties while I was. away. I got great updates and pictures and was so happy they were in such great hands!! Definitely recommend Ashton for all your pet needs :)
If you need a phenomenal pet sitter, Ashton is the one! Absolutely incredible service from start to finish. My fur babies were totally obsessed, and getting such great updates everyday made being away so much easier. 10 out of 10, would recommend!

Muzo was his normal self when I returned--always a good sign. He must have liked Ashton, who brushed him a lot.
Ashton was great! Everyone was healthy and happy when I got home :)

I’d give Ashton 10/5 stars if I could… this was my first time booking with her and I honestly could not be more impressed with her updates, communication, and problem solving. Thank you, thank you, Ashton!

Schedule
During the school year, I’m a full-time student at the University of Vermont and, when I’m not in classes or doing Rover visits, I’m often spending time with my own cat! I spend summers, and most other school breaks, at home with my family in IL. This summer will be my third year working part-time as an inclusion aid for children with disabilities and special needs in summer camps. My weekday mornings are spent there, but the rest of my schedule is more flexible, so I’m looking forward to doing more afternoon and evening Rover visits!
