About: Maiah and I have grown up with many different pets including Dogs, Cats, Fish, and Lizards. Maiah grew up rescuing and raising pups from birth. At one point she had six dogs and one cat. We now have a precious black golden retriever who is our son and a black cat named Amelia who we adore. We went to training classes with our dog Barkley and he is now a certified psychiatric service animal. We take him on a trail walk almost every day of the week. Maiah works entirely from home and I work a hybrid schedule. We always have our dog with us and have the flexibility to go on potty walks at any time throughout the day as well as frequenting the Dog Parks and Trail walks in the area after work! We care for our dog by showing him love and affection and space when he needs it. When we look after your dog when you’re away we will treat it with the same care, love, and respect we give our dog.

About: I have had doggos in my life since I was a kiddo. I currently have 4 dogs in the home each with their own personality, 1 blue heeler (4 yrs old), 1 black lab (5 yrs old), 1 pit bull mix (2 yrs old) and 1 yellow Labrador (14 yrs old.). Having 4 dogs in one home has really taught me how to read different behaviors, making sure they all feel respected and loved, I’ve learned to always keep them trained with commands and above all to make sure they’ve gotten their energy out. I currently only work 8 hour shifts on Wednesday and Fridays, all other days in the week I am available to care for your pet/s. I make sure to follow every instruction provided when caring for a pet in someone’s home. The pet’s human knows them best and it’s essential to follow all instructions to a tee. I make sure to be present with the animal during all aspects of the visit including play/free time. I’m very careful and safe with animals and I try to make sure the dog/cat’s needs are met before leaving the home.

“Bianca was kind and came by beforehand for a rundown, which was much appreciated! She is clearly a cat person who is dedicated to her pet sitting commitments. I removed a star because she had a last minute mix up with her work schedule and texted us the morning we were leaving to let us know she could not come within the agreed upon time window, which left us scrambling calling neighbors and friends asking for backup. She ended up getting her work schedule moved around to make it work, which we really appreciated, but she was not able to stay the full 30 minutes at that time. This delayed us leaving on our trip by about two hours, which was a challenging start for us. With that being said, we really appreciated Bianca going above and beyond to get her work schedule moved around when things went awry.”

About: I've been around animals my entire life, and I've always considered them part of the family! I got my first dog when I was eleven, and over the years, my family grew to include six dogs. My parents and I have also fostered dogs together, giving me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and backgrounds, including those who need a little extra patience, reassurance, and time to adjust. I've spent years pet-sitting for family, friends, and neighbors, caring for pets through overnight stays, feeding routines, walks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I currently live with two cats, so I'm comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and understand that every animal has their own unique personality, needs, and routines. My favorite part of caring for animals is getting to know their individual personalities and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I want every owner to feel comfortable knowing their furry family members are in good hands. I recently moved to the area and currently work remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule! I know how important consistency is for pets, and I want to make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved! My top priorities are always to create a safe, trusting environment and to ensure a comfortable atmosphere. I make sure all pets feel secure, calm, and loved. I carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, and house rules to maintain consistency as needed and possible. In a client's home, I treat the space with respect and keep everything clean and organized. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure, and I'm very mindful of my surroundings during walks. I also take the time to get to know each pet's personality so I know how to respond appropriately to their needs and comfort levels. Communication is key, so I always provide regular updates, photos, and messages to give pet parents peace of mind. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where all pets feel comfortable and cared for, and each owner feels confident they've left their pets in good hands.

“Benjamin was amazing with my cat Pigeon. He's extremely thoughtful, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure my boy was comfortable while I was out of town for the holidays. He communicated every day, sent lots of pictures, and gave my cat the quality human time he very much needs. Pigeon loved hanging with him, and should I need to leave again, I know who to call!”

About: I have grew up around dogs and cats and always had a huge amount of love for them. For the last 3 years when I was living in South Carolina, my good friend always called me first to dog sit and house sit. I’ve been around many different types of dogs. Would love to learn more along this journey Right now I am in the Air National Guard, so my weekdays are not filled up at the moment. In the meantime, I think that taking care of cats and dogs would be amazing for me. I’d like to think that every dog and cat I come in contact with, we automatically will grow a connection. Instructions are easy to follow. I have no problem completing whatever task needs to be completed while also having a fun time with these pets

About: I am a life-long animal lover who has cared for pets for as long as I can remember. In fact, I could think of nothing I would rather do than devote my life to animal health and well-being, so I became a veterinarian! I am no longer in clinical practice, as I now focus on wildlife population health; however, I retain my love of creatures great and small and appreciate the opportunity to provide in-home care to your beloved dogs and other pets. I otherwise miss the snuggles, as I do not currently have pets of my own! I know the value of the human-pet bond, and I strive to give the highest quality care. I am comfortable caring for pups with special needs or any number of other critters (cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, rodents, etc.). My only limitation is that I am at work full-time during the day, so I would not be suitable for animals needing mid-day care on a daily basis.

My Consulting work is done remotely, which makes my schedule flexible for Rover assignments, and, additionally leaves ample Time for getting out on the trails with tails. I’m home most of the day and always home at night, so your pet will have lots of attention and supervision, especially during stays in my home. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with access to a fenced-in dog park and plenty of walking trails nearby. Your pet will have a safe, comfortable environment with lots of opportunities for exercise and fresh air. I also have a friendly dog and cat who are both used to being around other animals. For added safety and flexibility, I can crate pets if preferred or follow any specific routines you have.
