“Julian and Jocelyn are excellent hosts! My husband and I were faced with a situation where our usual hosts were not available and we needed to leave our Boston terrier in new hands for a month; also the longest duration we were separated from our baby to date. Needless to say, this was not an easy decision for us. From the moment we corresponded with Julian and Jocelyn are fears were put to ease. They are extremely professional and responsive to emails and texts. We were able to schedule a meet and greet and were impressed by the questions they asked to understand our dogs needs and personality. As soon we entered their home, Layla felt very comfortable and relaxed. She was able to quickly pick up on Julian and Jocelyn's calm and warming energy. At one point our Layla made herself comfortable on their couch and completely settled right in. While we were traveling we received beautiful photos (these really are professional grade pictures) of Layla and warm updates about their time together, which we loved. In the pictures we could see how calm and relaxed Layla was. Julian and Jocelyn also went out of their way to keep Layla active and even bathed her when they felt she needed it. They were also very flexible with changes to our schedule. Working with Julian and Jocelyn was an absolute pleasure and knowing our dog was in such good hands made our trip so much less stressful. About: As a lifelong animal lover with years of experience, I have had the pleasure of caring for a wide range of pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals. My experience spans from handling playful puppies to providing tender care for senior pets from friends and family for over five years. I am free this July until August and otherwise I will be going to UVM this fall so my availability will vary based on my schedule. She watched our very enthusiastic 1.5 year old golden retriever for the weekend, and took him on hikes, had him splashing in brooks and meeting goats. I removed a star because she had a last minute mix up with her work schedule and texted us the morning we were leaving to let us know she could not come within the agreed upon time window, which left us scrambling calling neighbors and friends asking for backup. She ended up getting her work schedule moved around to make it work, which we really appreciated, but she was not able to stay the full 30 minutes at that time. This delayed us leaving on our trip by about two hours, which was a challenging start for us. With that being said, we really appreciated Bianca going above and beyond to get her work schedule moved around when things went awry.”

About: I grew up with many animals, both my own pets, and animals on my grandfather's dairy farm (he was also a vet). I live in the country in Richmond, and have cats, young kids and animals Rover won't let me name in the description...but they provide eggs. We have dogs in our "extended family" and we are well accustomed to dogs but we do not have one ourselves at this time. If your dog is 100% safe with those people and pets and well-behaved, let's talk! Independently insured. We enjoy hosting dogs, and are home most days of the week for most of the day. We enjoy walking with dogs and playing fetch (if dogs like to do that) on our hill in our yard. We would need to do a meet & greet to make sure it is a good match. Our yard is not fenced, and we are on a dirt road in the country with woods on the property and surrounding it, so dogs should not be prone to bolting etc. They must be 100% safe with young kids, cats and free range egg producers. No aggressive or reactive dogs please.

I provide lots of patience, affection and exercise for all animals. We go out 3-4 times per day for walks and potty breaks. Always active and attentive. Please let me know about anything your pet needs to feel safe and happy. The more information the better. I can handle separation anxiety and other behavioral issues but prefer to know ahead of time. Please make sure your pet is treated for fleas/ticks. If your baby has a history of indoor urination, please provide diapers/belly bands. Happy to accommodate all ages and stages. I truly enjoy the company of animals and also like to walk often. Being in the park and exercising helps lift my spirits. My dog has improved my life in many ways and he makes me a better human. Pets are given a cool, calm and comfy environment. Plenty of walks and free access to filtered water. (Treats also, if owners request/permit). I am almost obsessively neat and always treat my customers’ homes with respect. My goal is to be as unobtrusive as possible. Scrupulous about keeping your home secure while you are away. I ask that you leave clear and detailed instructions to maintain a safe & secure home. Also, for long term services, I do not mind bringing in mail, putting trash/recycle bins out.

About: Hello! My name is Steph and I have been living in Vermont for about 10 years now. I am a young professional who loves animals end enjoy helping others in caring for their pups! I own a mini Australian Shepherd named Oakley who is 6 years old. He joins me on most of my adventures that include running, biking hiking, paddleboarding, snowboarding, and overall just be outside. About: My name is Danielle and I’ve always been a huge animal lover. When my neighbors got two lab puppies in 2009 I visited them every day after school. Since I didn’t grow up with dogs I basically treated them as my own and taught them commands. This is when my dogsitting journey began at 12 years old. Both dogs had such a big impact on me which led to my passion working with animals. In fourth grade my dream job was to be a dog walker. Since then I’ve pet sat for dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, rabbits, and horses for months at a time in Vermont and Hawaii. The only exceptions for me to sit in your home is if you have an elderly dog or many various animals. Your dog must be able to go up stairs. I ensure the pets get lots of love, snuggles, all the walks that are needed, and extra outside time if this is something they enjoy.

Most importantly, your dog will never be left alone. Someone will always be home 24/7 — whether it’s myself, or Kevin — so your pup will always have supervision, companionship, love, and care.

“Had a great experience booking daily walks for three days with Jenna. Had to book super last minute and she was kind enough to accept and be flexible with us. She provided a rover card for each walk showing how far and long they walked as well as if my dog pooped 1-2x which was rlly helpful for me. jenna also went the extra mile of feeding him and making sure he ate after his walks while also keeping him company for a good amount of time afterwards too. All of which was rlly appreciated, well communicated, and shows how much she cares! I also received a daily picture which I looked forward to everyday :) not many dog walkers would do all of this but she did. Also, it was rlly important that my dog goes on a 30 min walk once every 24 h or else he won’t eat and starts throwing up from starving himself and she responsibly did show up within the asked/ flexible time frame:) Would book another walk with her in the future”

“Julian and Jocelyn are excellent hosts! My husband and I were faced with a situation where our usual hosts were not available and we needed to leave our Boston terrier in new hands for a month; also the longest duration we were separated from our baby to date. Needless to say, this was not an easy decision for us. From the moment we corresponded with Julian and Jocelyn are fears were put to ease. They are extremely professional and responsive to emails and texts. We were able to schedule a meet and greet and were impressed by the questions they asked to understand our dogs needs and personality. As soon we entered their home, Layla felt very comfortable and relaxed. She was able to quickly pick up on Julian and Jocelyn's calm and warming energy. At one point our Layla made herself comfortable on their couch and completely settled right in. While we were traveling we received beautiful photos (these really are professional grade pictures) of Layla and warm updates about their time together, which we loved. In the pictures we could see how calm and relaxed Layla was. Julian and Jocelyn also went out of their way to keep Layla active and even bathed her when they felt she needed it. They were also very flexible with changes to our schedule. Working with Julian and Jocelyn was an absolute pleasure and knowing our dog was in such good hands made our trip so much less stressful. We highly recommend Jocelyn and Julian and will definitely leave Layla in their great care in the future. I know she misses them already! Thank you Jocelyn and Julian! My experience spans from handling playful puppies to providing tender care for senior pets from friends and family for over five years. I am free this July until August and otherwise I will be going to UVM this fall so my availability will vary based on my schedule. She watched our very enthusiastic 1.5 year old golden retriever for the weekend, and took him on hikes, had him splashing in brooks and meeting goats.
