About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

She is caring and detail oriented and helps anxious pet owners as much as the pet! Before we left: Sukhpran came to meet our cat, who forms very quick decisions about new people; he took to her immediately and didn't blink when she gave him his injection. While we were away: She sent photos or a video during each visit. She didn't just feed and leave, she took time to play. She also took care of my plants. When we returned: Our cat was calm and happy, and my plants were healthy and huge! Mail and packages were neatly stacked, litter robot was given an extra empty, so we didn't have to when we returned. I highly recommend Sukhpran; she exceeded our expectations and truly allowed us to enjoy our vacation knowing Finnegan was in good hands.”

About: I grew up with many animals, both my own pets, and animals on my grandfather's dairy farm (he was also a vet). I live in the country in Richmond, and have cats, young kids and animals Rover won't let me name in the description...but they provide eggs. We have dogs in our "extended family" and we are well accustomed to dogs but we do not have one ourselves at this time. If your dog is 100% safe with those people and pets and well-behaved, let's talk! Independently insured. We enjoy hosting dogs, and are home most days of the week for most of the day. We enjoy walking with dogs and playing fetch (if dogs like to do that) on our hill in our yard. We would need to do a meet & greet to make sure it is a good match. Our yard is not fenced, and we are on a dirt road in the country with woods on the property and surrounding it, so dogs should not be prone to bolting etc. They must be 100% safe with young kids, cats and free range egg producers. No aggressive or reactive dogs please.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a toddler. I currently have an almost 1-year old big goofy catahoula leopard/pitbull mix. I routinely dog sit for extended family and I have fostered for a local dog rescue. One of my favorite activities is taking a dog for a nice neighborhood walk or an active hike. If your dog comes here for a stay, they are treated as a member of the family. They’re welcome to lounge on the couch and we even love to bring them on outings with us if your dog would enjoy it. I’m a full time mom so I have a fairly flexible schedule for adding in dog walks. If your dog is ok with kiddos joining, I can be even more accommodating. I currently have a puppy who could accompany me on walks or drop-ins if you think your dog could benefit from seeing a play buddy. If not, I can do some quality 1:1 time with your pooch.

I wouldn't trust anyone else with her. I followed him to Rover from the daycare he essentially started and was forced to shut down. And I will follow him when he starts his own. I own a mini Australian Shepherd named Oakley who is 6 years old. He joins me on most of my adventures that include running, biking hiking, paddleboarding, snowboarding, and overall just be outside. I am currently living just outside of Burlington in a fenced in back yard with one 9 year old pug named Duke. I have enough space here for your pet to run around and play either solo or with my dog. I at this point do not have the capacity for overnight stays but am working on creating a space where that can be possible! In regards to other care, I am able to stay over night, check in daily or even just walk your pet when needed! I have a car so I can meet just about anywhere and take your pet on little adventures if desired. I love to stay active so playing, walking, hiking, running and swimming are some of my favourite activities to do! However if needed I can kick my feet up and be a homebody for the more lazy pups.

About: I’ve had both dogs and cats for my whole life! I’m very active and would love to walk with your dog and play! I have experience with difficult animals from my time working at an ASPCA and from socializing and rescuing feral cats. I can give meds and provide care to senior animals and I’m strong enough to carry a pet that needs some help getting down stairs etc. I’ve potty trained two puppies and leash trained several other dogs. I’m a graduate student with a hybrid work schedule and I’m always looking for more excuses to get outside and go for a walk! I’m very active but I also love to snuggle on the couch with a good book and a new furry friend. With my own pets I take their routine very seriously and I would do the same for your animals. I believe in keeping things as stress free as possible for pets while you are away so they can stay happy and healthy. I do a mix of working from home and working on campus, doing drop ins and walks when I’m in between meetings would work great for me. I’m super active so Im always out walking already, i might as well bring a dog! I can stay at other peoples houses if it’s close to the university and there is wifi for me to get some work done. Currently I can’t have animals stay in my home because my house already has two cats that don’t do well with new animals coming over. I would care for them as if they are my own of course! I am a string believer that animals thrive on routine so I will stick as close as I can to what their normal routine is. At a clients home I would be sure to keep everything clean and neat and do everything as directed so the pet I’m watching doesn’t experience extra stress being away from their person.

I have three dogs of my own and always travel with my smallest one, Meera, a 9lb chi mix who is very quiet and well behaved. I work at a doggie daycare four days a week so Friday through Sunday I’d be out of the house for about 8 hours a day. I am the lucky mama of three sweet rescue dogs named Jelly Bean, Frankie, and Meera. They are highly socialized due to the nature of my work and they join me for house sitting and pet care. About: My experience taking care of dogs goes back to my childhood. When I was 8 we got a new puppy and from that moment on I have been obsessed. From taking care of newborn puppies and experiencing the birthing process to helping my senior dogs find comfort in their final days, I have seen it all. I have a run for my dog that he stays on when outside in the yard but he usually sticks with me so he’s not always attached. In the home are multiple dog beds and comfy places for the pups to rest after a long day. There is always access to water, inside and out. My dog is very easy going so we are willing to be adaptable on a pet to pet basis.

About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

About: I’ve been taking care of family dogs as well as those of friends, neighbours, and extended family for about 15 years. I’m a lover of dogs of all sizes and breeds, and doing activities from walking, hiking, running, playing and even just chilling on the couch!
