Among my friends, colleagues, and relatives, I have become the go-to person for drop-in walks, petsitting/house sitting, and more. Traveling or needing an extra hand taking care of your pet should not have to be a source of stress - I hope to be able to bridge that gap for you. Spending time with your sweet pet is just an added bonus! I have experience caring for dogs and cats under a year old all the way to senior pets who may require more attention (like medication administration). I have experience walking more than one dog at a time, as well as walking larger dogs up to 100lbs independently. I love playing with animals and see stimulating play as a vital part of caring for them while their owner is away. I work full-time for the University of Vermont - while I do work primarily in person, I have hybrid flexibility when I am not meeting with clients and am able to step away from work when I want and need to. I am located very central to the University of Vermont campus, the South End, and the Old North End. I can travel by foot, car, and bike. My shared living environment limits me from boarding animals in my home. However, I am happy to care for your pets in the space they're most comfortable in and familiar with! I can come and go from your home for drop-in walks, longer walk outings, and overnight stays if necessary. I will respect you and your pet's space and belongings. Dogs must be well house trained, minimally barky, and comfortable with other dogs. I work from home most days, so I can be available to provide company and daily exercise, potty breaks as needed, & loving care and attention to make your pooch feel at home. I have a golden retriever and we love snuggles, playtime and potty breaks in the back yard, adventures on the lake or in the trail, treats (if allowed!) and can follow any routines, training or preferences your pooch requires.
