About: My family grew up with dogs and cats; the animals are treated as family. Pet sitting (and baby sitting) were part of the routine from early on. My Consulting work is done remotely, which makes my schedule flexible for Rover assignments, and, additionally leaves ample Time for getting out on the trails with tails. I enjoy being out-of-doors, and hope that some time outside is part of your furriends’ daily care plan. I believe in sticking to the schedule that clients have established with their animals for meals, toileting, play time and quiet rest.
About: I have loved animals since I was a child. I have taken many college classes about animal health. My background as an EMT has equipped me to handle many animal emergencies. I have watched various animals, including snakes, cats, guinea pigs, and dogs. I ensure that cats receive the right balance of independence and affection, make sure your pet has extra treats, and provide dogs with regular exercise. I can cater to each pet's unique requirements. I promise that your baby will receive love and attention, and be well cared for with me. I work from home and can be flexible to cater to you and your pets needs. I have plenty of time to take breaks and ensure they get the attention they deserve. I prefer to watch pets in your home but can be flexible. I live near a park and have a fenced in yard to ensure animals get proper exercise.
“Naomi cared for my kitty while I was out of town for a week. I left with confidence that he was in good, caring, and capable hands. Communication and attention to details was excellent. I highly recommend Naomi should you need a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

About: I am a life-long animal lover who has cared for pets for as long as I can remember. In fact, I could think of nothing I would rather do than devote my life to animal health and well-being, so I became a veterinarian! I am no longer in clinical practice, as I now focus on wildlife population health; however, I retain my love of creatures great and small and appreciate the opportunity to provide in-home care to your beloved dogs and other pets. I otherwise miss the snuggles, as I do not currently have pets of my own! I know the value of the human-pet bond, and I strive to give the highest quality care. I am comfortable caring for pups with special needs or any number of other critters (cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, rodents, etc.). My only limitation is that I am at work full-time during the day, so I would not be suitable for animals needing mid-day care on a daily basis.
“Emma is amazing!! She truly loves animals and she has been a great help with our new puppy. She is very punctual, which is important to me---and she sends me great updates so I dont miss out on the acitivity while she is at our house with the puppy. We certainly will continue to have her come over and care and play with our little furry pal.”
“She was great with our cat and very helpful throughout our time away. She followed all of our instructions, kept us updated, and was easy to communicate with. We really appreciated how reliable and attentive she was, and it gave us peace of mind knowing our cat was in good hands. We would definitely have her pet sit for us again!”

“Very accommodating to our special needs Great Dane who requires meds everyday! Plenty of pictures and cuddles provided. Continues communication through her time with our special boy. Gabby was avaliable for booking on short notice and we would definitely book again. 11/10 review from the dog. Thank you!”

About: Hi, I'm Elissa! I'm a lifelong animal lover who's been pet sitting on Rover on and off for nearly 10 years, depending on where life has taken me. These days I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to spend more time caring for pets while saving for a wedding. I grew up with dogs, so caring for them has always come naturally. In 2020, I adopted my first cat, and I quickly became a full-fledged cat person. I've also lived with two cats who didn't get along, so I'm comfortable reading feline body language, giving nervous cats the space they need, and helping them feel safe and comfortable. One of my biggest strengths is adapting to each pet's unique personality and energy level. Whether your pet wants a snuggle buddy, a playmate, a quiet companion, or someone to stick closely to their routine, I'm happy to meet them where they are. When you're away, I'll care for your pets the same way I hope someone cares for mine. I can offer patience, kindness, plenty of affection, and lots of updates. Our pets are a big part of our lives, but to them, we're their whole world.
“So happy that Lacy could be with Bella while we spent time playing "tourists" with friends from out of state. Bella had a good time with Lacy and we had nothing to worry about :)”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
