6. Claire B.
About: My name is Claire! I am a nursing student at the University of Vermont and I am looking to take care of some pets! I grew up taking care of three of my own family dogs. I also have a cat now who I absolutely adore. I have a lot of availability right now, so I can be as flexible as you need me to be! The only days I have classes this semester are Mondays and Tuesdays, so those days will most likely not work for me. I always make sure each animal is being paid attention to and that their individual needs are met. If they want to play, we play. If they want to rest, we rest.
7. Christopher W.

I currently work part time and have a flexible schedule so I am available to walk and watch your dogs and cats. I love getting out side, even when it’s freezing. I look forward to meeting your pets. I am a seasoned dog walker and house sitter. I have great time management skills and am able to complete all home care related tasks. Need the mail picked up? Need a resupply of dog food?
10. Blair Y.
“Blair is great with animals AND people. She’s polite, kind, responsible and professional. We’ve had a variety of pets and she cares for them exactly as we instruct her to. We never asked her to play with the cat, but she’d do it in her own accord. We learned bc when she would come back home, my cat would run to her and stroke his head against her face in affection ❤️. She fed live worms to our bearded dragon, walk the dog, feed the turtle. I can’t recommend Blair enough!!”
11. Kristina S.
“Kristina is a life saver!!!”
12. Tess B.
“Tess is the best. She’s known my dog (Winn) since she was just a wee pup and has shown her nothing but love in all of their time together. Winn loves spending time with her auntie Tess, and I can’t imagine a better person to take care of your pups.”
13. Lucy M.
“Lucy was great! She was patient with my dog upon introduction, as my doggo can be a bit timid and barky at first. Though, with her k9nd patience she wRmed her way up to Nikita. Her dpg and mine get along just great and Nikita comes home very happy”
14. Taylor F.
About: All neighbors in my community have relied on me to walk and board their dogs since I was young! I’ve taken dogs on nature walks, car rides, and made sure they felt at home with me or while I was watching them when their families are on vacation. All pets have been comfortable with me and are ecstatic when I come back to visit or board them. I work a part time job but in my free time I’m available to take care of pets daily or at night as well! I love to keep busy and occupied with my pets at home and would love to continue that while living at my apartment up in Vermont. I am happy to care for your pets to your preference. I can take them out as frequently as possible even though I don’t have a backyard. I’m happy to go on frequent walks and crate them as well if needed.
15. Katelyn C.
About: I have worked with animals most of my life, starting young when my family fostered dogs and worked in shelters. I spent most of my free time volunteering, working with shy dogs and cats and exercising the more energetic ones until I was about 14. As I got older I searched for more ways of working with animals and convinced my family to get a wildlife rehabilitation license, which we got! I then spent the next four years fully dedicated to the care of dozens of orphaned and injured small mammals and birds. Eventually I had to turn my focus on moving forward with my personal development and spent several years working in different doggy daycares and training centers. I also have worked with more exotic animals such as birds, snakes and lizards. Now I am looking forward to working with animals still, but in a more flexible, relaxed way! I work from home and have very flexible hours. So I am very free and flexible to meet each individual person and pets needs, just ask for what you need! When working with animals I strive to work in a positive way. I have worked in facilities that use LIMA (least intrusive, minimally aversive) and strive to follow that on my own. At my last job in a dog training facility I was in charge of overseeing the safety and wellbeing of each dog. I am well trained in reading dog body language and can confidently identify when a dog is stressed and have skills to help mitigate stress, fear and over arousal. I also have taken classes on dog first aid and CPR. I am confident walking many dogs with different behaviors, such as fear and mild reactivity, so long as it is discussed and I have the right tools.

17. Danielle C.
“My first time using Rover and I pick the nicest person! My dog is usually anxious around strangers and I was worried but Danielle kept her nice and comfortable. And she sent me lots of updates, keeping me at ease and entertained while I was apart from my dog. Definitely will be using her services again in the future.”
18. Julie L.
About: I have been surrounded by dogs all my life. I have an 11 year old King Charles Cavalier that lives with my parents and I have about 5 years of dog sitting experience. I love all dogs and am surrounded by them almost daily! I am currently a college student who has a ton of free time. Apart from about 1-2 hours of class a day my schedule is pretty much free. I also have a roomate who has dogs of her own and is studying to be a vet and she is around to help out as well! I live on campus in an apartment styled living space. The campus is dog friendly and has a great nature path right next door along with a ton of open fields that make for great walks.
19. Kara E.
“I booked Kara the day before needing a pup sitter. She was very kind and professional! It was my first time using using an app of this sort and I was feeling a little nervous. Upon meeting, Kara reassured me that it was okay! I was so happy that she had a pup of her own because mine LOVES other dogs. Kara sent sweet pictures throughout the day and was very responsive. Would definitely recommend & use Kara again if needed! Thank you!”

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my whole life and have taken care of them for at least ten years:) (feeding, walking, bathing, administering medications, all the love, playing and pets, etc) I’ve also cared for my very old and very sweet cat who struggled with some basic tasks as he became blind and incontinent up to his parting, and would do the same for any of my families animals! I’ve housesat for a family friend’s 2 cats, as well as for my sisters and former partners 3 cats a couple times, and my other sister’s dog(whom I boarded), bunny, and cat on a handful of occasions:) I also recently just hosted my sister and one of her cats for over a month and now have a space with no pets again:( so I’d be happy to host! I am temporarily unemployed due to layoff during the winter season, therefore I have plenty of free time to provide excellent and holistic care for your pets! Have good amount of indoor space and some shared outdoor yard with picnic table and some frisbee tossing space! There are plenty of nice places to walk around my neighborhood in Winooski, and there’s a dog park 10 mins in walking distance from my apartment!
