“Chelsea is everything you can want in a dog sitter. While traveling we needed a dog sitter for us to have a “city day.” Chelsea responded promptly and politely. She was friendly and had great communication with lots of photos throughout our dogs stay. She set up a home base for him to relax near her during the stay. He was happy and relaxed when we picked him up. We will definitely use her services again next time we are in the area.”

About: Hello!! I have two furry babies of my own ( a lab and husky) and they both have unlimited energy! Me and my boyfriend are a very active couple and love taking them for walks twice a day, to the dog park and to the beach. We have a nice walking path at our apartment complex that is perfect for this! I love watching a variety of dogs ( small to large) and both of my dogs love to play with other dogs! For the dogs I have watched, I send daily photos and updates as needed. You’re dog would get the utmost attention here( nightly cuddles and daily activities) to reduce stress while traveling! If you have any questions or concerns you are welcome to ask!
10. Lydia S.
“Lydia took care of our Shih Tzu, Skoshi, while we attended an event at Dartmouth. Skoshi is nervous about new people, and it's always a bit concerning when I drop her for dog sitting. Everything went great, and Skoshi was very happy when I picked her up. I was on a bit of a tight schedule because of travel for the day, and the timing went perfectly. I strongly recommend Lydia for taking care of your pet!”

About: New to Burlington area and Rover! Moved from Jersey. I had a dog for 10 years, we rescued him from a farm when he was four (a handsome GSP) so I have been around dogs my whole life. We potty trained, crate trained, and yard trained him. After he passed away at the age of 14, I started dog sitting and house sitting a yellow lab named Maisey who loves to hike, has a bit of a sass to her, and won’t pass up an opportunity to jump up on the couch with you. I then moved to Burlington Vermont and am looking to provide the same love and care for dogs up here! I work from home, so it is very easy for me to be around the majority of the time. The longest I would plan on being away from the home is an hour. I go on daily walks and runs, plus always get outside during the day which is perfect for potty breaks. I live in Burlington so I am steps away from the waterfront and dog parks if approved by the owner. I currently do not have pets in the home. For walking, I go on at least a 20-30 minute walk every morning and do the same at night or a run down by the water. For boarding, I will be home the entire day to care for your pet since I work from home. For house sitting, since I work from home I could work from your house and be there for your dog the entire time requested.
12. Cia G.
“If you're considering why Cia would make an excellent dog walker, look no further than her inherent qualities and abilities. Firstly, a great dog walker possesses a genuine love and affinity for dogs. This isn't just a job to them; it's a passion. They understand the nuances of different breeds and individual dog personalities, enabling them to cater to each pup's needs effectively. Secondly, reliability and responsibility are key traits. A dependable dog walker shows up on time, rain or shine, ensuring the dogs in their care receive consistent exercise and attention. They understand the importance of following instructions meticulously, whether it's regarding dietary needs, medication, or behavioral training. Additionally, communication skills are paramount. A great dog walker keeps open lines of communication with pet owners, providing regular updates on their furry friends' activities and well-being. They're attentive listeners, able to understand and address any concerns or special requests from clients promptly. Furthermore, a good dog walker prioritizes safety above all else. They're knowledgeable about canine behavior and are equipped to handle various situations that may arise during walks, whether it's encountering other dogs, wildlife, or unexpected hazards. Lastly, passion, patience, and positivity round out the qualities of an exceptional dog walker. Cia would approach each walk with enthusiasm, turning it into an enjoyable experience for both the dog & the walker :) Her patience knows no bounds, whether it's dealing with a hyperactive puppy or an older dog with mobility issues. And through it all, their positivity shines, creating a nurturing and joyful environment for the dogs they care for. In essence, someone who embodies these qualities would undoubtedly make a great dog walker, enriching the lives of both the dogs she walks and their owners alike.”

About: We are a family of animal lovers here! My husband and I served animals in shelters and hospitals for 15+ years! And want to continue.. I'm currently job searching, working part time and home a lot of the time, and happy to have some pet therapy while I look and help! I have a fenced small yard and a 2.5 year old who goes to daycare. Pets will be on the first floor mostly and get walks and cuddles and everything else in between.
15. Meredith R.
“Meredith is a kind, loving, and responsible person who absolutely loves animals. As my neighbor, I often saw her with her own dogs out walking, playing, and snuggling. Both pups needed a little extra care when it came to medications, supplements, etc. and she always made sure they were getting exactly what the vet recommended. She also watched my cat and rabbit on many occasions and went above and beyond when making sure the animals were happy and healthy. I highly recommend Meredith as your dog caregiver!”
16. Hayley M.
“Hayley has cared for my dog Scout a number of times while my husband and I have been out of town. Scout is a very loving dog but can sometimes be weird with other dogs, so Hayley always stays at my house. She leaves my house cleaner than I left it, and sends me photos of her and Scout on walks and cuddling. She is always on time and I know she takes great care of my dog while I am away. Hayley is always my first text when we need Scout coverage!”

About: Hello! I'm a genuine animal lover of all kinds. Grew up wanting to be a veterinarian, somehow stumbled into tech. Currently on sabbatical and missing animals in my life. I have experience with powerful breeds. Formerly a pitbull mommy of 11+ years. Type A, active, rule follower, experienced with positive reinforcement training for dogs. Love cats, cared for them growing up, although I can't say I've had any success there with "training"... :) I'm currently on a sabbatical so my weekly schedule is flexible. Typically bring our 13-year-old Aus Shepherd mix for a long walk in the mornings along the bike path, and again around sunset. Could happily incorporate more exercise for a higher energy pup, or less for those more inclined on couch time. We live in a small water-front home with our senior pup, Peaty. Peaty has free (supervised) reign of the property - we live at the end of the road without traffic, and he enjoys sitting outside watching the world go by... and then sleeping off the afternoon on the couch inside by the wood-burning stove. He's happy to show another pup his lifestyle, and we're also happy to follow stricter rules as needed. With dogs, my philosophy is a well-behaved dog is a well-exercised one. Daily walks are a must!
18. Chelsea B.
“Chelsea is amazing! I hired her to come and let my dog out and play with her twice a day, 5 days a week, for a little over a month while I was unable to. I am so glad I did; she did such a great job. She is a very caring and kind person. She was so sweet to my dog, always treating her so well. She is very responsible, reliable, and my dog loved her. Daisy would get so excited when she would see Chelsea pull in the driveway. I would highly recommend Chelsea for all of your pet needs!”

About: Ever since I got my first pup, a golden retriever, in 2011, I realized how important dogs are in my life. They make my life worth living! I relate to dogs more than I do to most people, and I am passionate about giving them what they need. Do they need an off leash walk? A run on leash? A walk where they can stop frequently to sniff? Lots of lovies? (This is usually a given!) Relatively rough play with toys?! (No serious biting though :) ) If they are more low energy, I can match that as well and give them what they need. Whatever your dogs’ wants and needs, as long as it's safe for both of us, I'm on it!! If you are looking for boarding or day sitting, your pup will just have to get along with our two high energy pups for it to be a match :) I currently work at home and am available during the evenings and early mornings to help take care of your pup. If I am boarding a dog I can take them out every 2-4 hours during the day (sometimes more often). If you live close and you just need a brief walk/play and being let out, I could do that midday as well. I’m available to do dog running as well- message me for more information about that. I would love to care for pets in my home as long as the dog gets along with my dogs, isn't aggressive towards humans, and isn’t destructive. We have a fenced in backyard where we can play ball. I live in a house with my husband and two of our own pups, no children, and we both love dogs. I also have a dog ramp for the car.
