“We absolutely love Eric! We've taken our pup, a 1-year-old German Shepherd, to him a few times and have it scheduled for her to be there once a week every week. She absolutely loves it, going for walks and playing with one or two other dogs all day while we're at work. We've always picked up a happy, tuckered, fulfilled dog at the end of the day, so what more can you ask for? Eric is also incredibly responsible and perceptive. He watches his dogs very carefully and will do anything to make sure everyone has the safest and most fun day possible. He takes the care and comfort of the dogs very seriously which gives us a lot of peace of mind while we are at work. We're truly so thrilled to have found Eric and can't wait to hear what amazing day our pup had every week! We cannot recommend Eric enough.”

About: Hey! Im Skye! I’m a senior at the university of Vermont studying political science and history. I’ve had pets from gerbils to horses my entire life and have cared for pets with special needs, disabilities, and aggression. I would love to spend some quality time with your pup or kitty whether it be snuggling all day or going for a hike! My number one priority is your pet’s safety and well being. —— Open to boarding smaller or low energy dogs, must be okay with cat in house. My schedule varies, but I work from home most of the time. If im watching your pup it will be a day I work from home so I can give them attention throughout the day. If watching a pet in your home, I follow the provided instructions, while ensuring to keep everything clean and tidy. If boarding in my home, your pet is welcome to the entire apartment, when supervised, and will mostly hang out in the living room or my room. Pets are allowed on couches and beds. We do have a cat in the home that will ignore the dog as long as it is not aggressive towards her.

Over the years I’ve pet sit for many different types of animals including dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, bunnies, rats, chickens and even a chameleon :). I volunteer at the humane society every weekend where I provide care for small animals and cats as well as walk dogs. I have a puppy named Ellie who my boyfriend and I rescued. She's adorable but she has all that puppy energy. I can wait to care for your animals and I hope to establish a relationship and spend quality time with each pet I watch or walk. I am a Cellular molecular and biomedical science PhD student at UVM. Currently I am working from home writing my thesis so I have a lot of flexibility with scheduling. I will not be offering boarding but will be happy to stay with your pets at your house so they can stay in an environment they are comfortable in.

About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.
