About: I am a University of Notre Dame alumn working remotely from Burlington Vermont. I grew up with family dogs of all different personalities and energy levels, from high-energy Jack Russells to affectionate English Springer Spaniels and Boxers. Being around dogs my whole life has made me comfortable adapting to different routines, temperaments, and exercise needs. As I start thinking about adding a dog of my own, I’d love the opportunity to spend time caring for dogs in my community and give them the same attention, affection, and care I’d want for my own. I currently work fully remote from my apartment in Burlington Vermont. I spend most of my free time outdoors, going for walk by the waterfront, biking, golfing, and hiking. I look to fit in client walks throughout the work day and after work. I know how important it is to feel confident that your pet is in good hands. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and any specific instructions from their owner. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the pet’s space and the home itself, and I do my best to keep things consistent so your pet feels comfortable and secure while you’re away.
“Nathaniel was great, he took wonderful care of my boys while I was out of town, but where I think he really excelled was after my booking - I got into a pretty serious car accident on the way back into town, which delayed me from getting home on time. I reached out to Nathaniel very last minute and with no real details other than I wasn't coming into town at the expected time and was wondering if he could swing by to check on everyone one last time for a little extra pay - Nathaniel replied immediately and said he would headed over ASAP! About: I have been around pets my entire life, and I owe much of my knowledge of the little things that go into properly caring for them to my experience owning several pets myself (currently 3 dogs)! I have also had several years of experience helping friends, family, and neighbors care for their pets, both dogs and cats alike. I am experienced in adapting my care to suit different pet personalities. I am also very receptive to owner feedback and committed to providing a good experience for both you and your pet. Although I am new to this app, my past experiences are just as relevant, and I hope to meet some new pets and people in need of care around the area! While I am a full time college student, if I have a steady schedule set out for me I have the capacity to make daily trips for pet sitting if need be. I will be sure to be very prompt and communicative with any fluctuations in my routine as to better inform owners. While I cannot offer up care for pets in my apartment where pets aren’t allowed, I am more than willing to establish a trusted relationship with pet owners who are offering sitters to stay at their home.
