About: At home (Corinth, VT), I have grown up with 30 chickens, 3 sheep, a dog, and now 3 cats (we had 5 at one point!). I have experience dog sitting for multiple weeks at a time, dog walking, and am patient with anxious, easily aggravated, and loud dogs. About: I grew up in rural Virginia, in a county bordering Shenandoah National Park. That area of Virginia is primarily known as being the horse capital of the country, and like every little girl, I fell in love with horses. In order to afford riding, I’d often trade farm work for time in the saddle; and so, I grew up surrounded by creatures great and small. Not only was I responsible for taking care of my family’s personal dogs and cats, but also the farm animals (in particular, 15+ horses at a time, farm dogs, and barn cats). My unique upbringing with horses and other animals has made me a versatile house sitter.
