About: I've been around dogs since I was a child, and I see them as part of the family. I got my first dog when I was eleven, but our house grew and grew with multiple dogs, and I currently help care for my family's six dogs. In addition, my parents and I have fostered dogs together, which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and backgrounds, including those who needed extra patience, structure, and reassurance while adjusting to new environments. I have years of experience dog sitting for family, friends, and neighbors, including overnight stays, feeding routines, walks, playtime, and giving my full affection and attention. Through fostering, I learned how to read dog behavior, help dogs feel safe in unfamiliar situations, and learned to support basic routines and transitions. What sets me apart is how attentive I am to learning each pet's individual needs. I will always take the time to learn their routines, levels of energy, and their own personalities so they can feel safe, comfortable, and loved by me while their owners are away. I'm currently a part-time student, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be very present and attentive to the pets I'm caring for. I'm able to plan my days around feedings, walks, playtime, and check-ins, so your pets will receive consistent care throughout the day. My top priorities are always to create a safe, trusting environment and to ensure a comfortable atmosphere. I make sure all pets feel secure, calm, and loved. I carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, and house rules to maintain consistency as needed and possible. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure, and I'm very mindful of my surroundings during walks. Logan was wonderful with my shy cats! She was punctual and always kept me informed during the drop-ins, and also took the time to try and bond with the cats a bit, which I greatly appreciate. Usually my boys are a little skittish when I first come back from a trip, but this time they were remarkably chill!
One of our cats in particular is very shy, but Anna made friends with both of them in record time. She handled medication with care and sent detailed, thoughtful updates with many photos showing our cats relaxed and happy with her. Very glad to have met her and had her check in on our girls!
