About: Fueled by a genuine and passionate love for animals, I was a small-animal veterinary technician for 9 years. This led me to earning a pre-veterinary science degree from the University of Vermont followed by a job working at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists' small animal hospital. I have since changed my career but still pursue animal care in my free-time. This includes pet sitting, dog walking, and anything else you may need. From dogs and cats to bunnies and birds, I had it all growing up and this pet hobby has transcended into my adult life. I'm confident administering medications, trimming nails, scrubbing your fish tank, or simply walking and playing with your pets. My friends, coworkers, and family have relied on me for years for top notch pet care. I currently work from home full-time and therefore have a lot of flexibility to come care for and play with your pets! I take my own dog on walks, hikes, or to the dog park every day and would be glad to do the same with yours. Ample exercise = a happy pet! I care deeply for animals and will do all I can to keep them safe, happy, and health. I have a fenced-in yard in the New North End of Burlington that is perfect for supervised dog play and exploration. We are also just a 5 minute walk from the Starr Farm Dog Park. I follow all leash rules and will never let a dog go unsupervised while playing with a toy or eating a treat to eliminate choking hazards. I am an excellent rule-follower so if you have a special request for in-home care, let me know and I'll follow it to a T.

About: I've been around animals my entire life, and I've always considered them part of the family! I got my first dog when I was eleven, and over the years, my family grew to include six dogs. My parents and I have also fostered dogs together, giving me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and backgrounds, including those who need a little extra patience, reassurance, and time to adjust. I've spent years pet-sitting for family, friends, and neighbors, caring for pets through overnight stays, feeding routines, walks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I currently live with two cats, so I'm comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and understand that every animal has their own unique personality, needs, and routines. My favorite part of caring for animals is getting to know their individual personalities and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I want every owner to feel comfortable knowing their furry family members are in good hands. I recently moved to the area and currently work remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule! I carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, and house rules to maintain consistency as needed and possible. In a client's home, I treat the space with respect and keep everything clean and organized. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure, and I'm very mindful of my surroundings during walks. I also take the time to get to know each pet's personality so I know how to respond appropriately to their needs and comfort levels. Communication is key, so I always provide regular updates, photos, and messages to give pet parents peace of mind. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where all pets feel comfortable and cared for, and each owner feels confident they've left their pets in good hands.

About: I am a dog lover and have owned dogs for 15 years. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs. I can help with puppy training and can administer any medications if necessary. I would love the opportunity to walk your dogs! Can do local early morning walks, afternoon breaks, after work walks, or evening/night time potty breaks! I have open availability. About: I am an avid animal lover, hanging with pets is a privilege and I will love your pet as much as I love my own! I have very strong communication skills, you will never wonder if your pet is doing OK and you will not lack photos of our time together! With permission, of course! I do not have it active on here, but can consider in home or boarding in my home, but it can be tricky for my schedule, as I have a son and kitties, so it would be a convo for sure, please don’t be afraid to ask. I work full-time, and my position is remote. I miss taking time out of my day to walk my dog who passed away six years ago. I have cats now and I enjoy taking time out to hang with them as well but looking forward to some dog walks as well! Animals are family, I will treat yours exactly as I treat my own, with so much love and respect. It is an honor to spend time with animals and to listen to their body language, they are always communicating with us.

About: There's nothing worse than having to leave your pet with someone you don't fully trust to care for them the way you will. Growing up with dogs, cats, rodents, fish, turtles, etc. instilled a strong sense of responsibility in me for detail-oriented and fiercely loving care for all types of pets. Among my friends, colleagues, and relatives, I have become the go-to person for drop-in walks, petsitting/house sitting, and more. Traveling or needing an extra hand taking care of your pet should not have to be a source of stress - I hope to be able to bridge that gap for you. Spending time with your sweet pet is just an added bonus! I have experience caring for dogs and cats under a year old all the way to senior pets who may require more attention (like medication administration). I have experience walking more than one dog at a time, as well as walking larger dogs up to 100lbs independently. I love playing with animals and see stimulating play as a vital part of caring for them while their owner is away. I work full-time for the University of Vermont - while I do work primarily in person, I have hybrid flexibility when I am not meeting with clients and am able to step away from work when I want and need to. My late afternoons, evenings, and weekends are typically free and flexible outside of rest and relaxation! I am located very central to the University of Vermont campus, the South End, and the Old North End. I can travel by foot, car, and bike. My shared living environment limits me from boarding animals in my home. However, I am happy to care for your pets in the space they're most comfortable in and familiar with! I can come and go from your home for drop-in walks, longer walk outings, and overnight stays if necessary. I will respect you and your pet's space and belongings. Cleanliness, organization, and safety are of the utmost importance to me.
