I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of time to care for your pets! I’m home most of the day and always home at night, so your pet will have lots of attention and supervision, especially during stays in my home. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with access to a fenced-in dog park and plenty of walking trails nearby. Your pet will have a safe, comfortable environment with lots of opportunities for exercise and fresh air. I also have a friendly dog and cat who are both used to being around other animals. For added safety and flexibility, I can crate pets if preferred or follow any specific routines you have.

About: My family has had dogs since I was 14. Out first dog was a German Shepard and second a German Shepard/Husky mix. Currently my Sheppard Husky mix resides in North Carolina staying with my mother as we were worried how he would do with a big move. I have always loved dogs and their companionship. It would be a privilege to take care of another’s fur baby. I currently have the sweetest little dachshound that I rescued in September of 2024 and we have been inseparable ever since, he is truly my child. I take my dog Beanie on longer walks about 2x a day and shorter ones through the day. I am mostly available on Fridays and weekends and after 5pm on Monday - Thursday My yard is not fenced in but there are many dog parks and safe places to play in my neighborhood. I love taking long walks and they are even better with a fiery companion.

I'd love to let your pets outside, give them some extra attention inside if they just need a little love while you're away, and I'm also happy to let pets stay with me assuming they are friendly with other dogs (I have one 8lb dog and one 60lb hound who is very gentle). I'm also happy to check in on cats or any other animals you have in your home (we also have a gecko in our house!). I work full time from home, so I am always home with my dogs. I let them out and feed them first thing in the morning, and try to get them out for a long walk in the middle of the day when the weather is nice (my little one refuses to get her paws wet or muddy). The more time in the sun, the better! I have a partially fenced in yard but leash dogs if I'm watching a family member's dog who isn't used to the area. I always have eyes on my little one so she doesn't sneak through the gaps in the fence. Anyone who trusts me with their pet's care can rest assured their safety is my top priority - I'm something of a helicopter dog mom
