About: I have experience caring for pets of all shapes, sizes, and personalities! I have been caring for a wide range of pets since I was young. I have an older dog with many quirks and particular needs so I understand how important it is to meet your dog's needs as an individual. Currently, I am a recent college grad looking to fill out my summer and make some extra cash. Outside of typical dog/cat experience, I also have experience with farm animals such as alpacas, llamas, sheep, goats, and more. I am also experienced with positive reinforcement training and bird handling. I recently began working part-time at a farm in Charlotte, doing primarily evening shifts (2p-7p) and sometimes mornings from (7:30a-2p). Even on days when I am working, I can typically spend at least half of the day with your pet to fit in walks, cuddles, and playtime. Your pet's safety is always a priority. To create a safe and trustworthy environment for your animals I will listen to you closely about your pet's past and behavior. As someone with zoo/farm experience, I understand the importance of always being aware and attentive to both your pet's behavior and my own. Bonding and building a relationship with your pet so they feel secure and comfortable with me is another top priority!
“Eileen responded quickly to my inquiry, and provided reliable care for my three cats when we needed to travel on short notice. She arrived at a consistent time, sent photos and notes about how the kitties were doing, and ensured that my older cat’s medication schedule was maintained. Eileen is very pleasant, kind, and trustworthy. I would happily recommend Eileen’s services to anyone.”
About: I’ve been a go to pet sitter for many coworkers, friends and more! I grew up taking care of my family’s border collie mix, and after college have taken care of quite a few different pups! I enjoy taking care of all different kinds of dogs from very active to very chill. I’m reliable and care deeply about every pets well-being. I'm currently a graduate student at UVM with a variable schedule but typically in class this semester Monday and Friday 8-5:30 and Tuesday 8-1. I’m happy to work nights and often available for weekends. I’m flexible and happy to chat to fit your needs! I am very attentive to each owner/pet’s individual needs and routines. I am happy to send pictures and keep you updated, and am always looking to make the pet feel comfortable + safe.
“Tess is a rockstar!! We have 3 SHY senior special-needs cats who need all kinds of complicated care. They needed a combination of special diet food / thorough supervision throughout mealtime to ensure everyone gets the right thing, powdered meds mixed with food, transdermal medications applied to the ear, and antibiotics out of a syringe, in addition to all of the typical work that goes into cat sitting. It’s always hard to find someone we can trust with their safety with that level of care needed, but we saw that Tess had experience with senior kitties, administering multiple kinds of medications, caring for feral cats, and her own cats at home. That’s the best you can hope for! True to her word, Tess did a beautiful job taking care of all of their needs, and even went the extra mile to give the last round of several medications when we let her know we were happy to take care of the final day to give her a break. She took extra time to make sure she could establish trust with them first and kept us up to date with everything we needed to know. Somehow, after medicating really shy and medication-averse cats, she left 3 happy, safe kitties after her care. Couldn’t recommend Tess any more highly, and we would be thrilled to have Tess back again any time!!”
