About: I am a Ph.D. student in Animal Welfare and former emergency veterinary assistant, I provide experienced, compassionate care for pets of all ages. I've cared for senior and disabled dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, and goats, and my wildlife rehabilitation experience helps me recognize signs of illness, injury, and stress. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide care throughout the day. I'm available for morning, afternoon, and evening walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention, so I can easily adapt to your pet's normal routine. I prefer caring for pets in my clients' homes because they're usually most comfortable in their own familiar environment. About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life and have experience with a variety of breeds and personalities. I was raised with Labs, Golden Retrievers, Doodles, and mixed breeds, and I currently have a pit mix of my own. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. Whether I’m taking your dog for a walk, stopping by to check on your cat, or caring for your pet while you’re away, my goal is always the same: to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. While I work everyday during the day, I have time in the evenings and all day on the weekends to either take your little ones for walks or feed them or play with them. My dog is allowed on any couch or bed, she doesn’t have many restrictions other than jumping on tables, she sleeps on our bed or the guest bed depending on her mood lol. When it comes to sitting at your house, I will make sure your pup stays on their routine and follows any house rules that are in place!

About: I've been around dogs since I was a child, and I see them as part of the family. I got my first dog when I was eleven, but our house grew and grew with multiple dogs, and I currently help care for my family's six dogs. In addition, my parents and I have fostered dogs together, which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and backgrounds, including those who needed extra patience, structure, and reassurance while adjusting to new environments. I have years of experience dog sitting for family, friends, and neighbors, including overnight stays, feeding routines, walks, playtime, and giving my full affection and attention. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure, and I'm very mindful of my surroundings during walks. I also take the time to get to know each pet's personality so I know how to respond appropriately to their needs and comfort levels. Communication is key, so I always provide regular updates, photos, and messages to give pet parents peace of mind. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where all pets feel comfortable and cared for, and each owner feels confident they've left their pets in good hands.

About: I have been around pets my entire life, and I owe much of my knowledge of the little things that go into properly caring for them to my experience owning several pets myself (currently 3 dogs)! I have also had several years of experience helping friends, family, and neighbors care for their pets, both dogs and cats alike. I understand the nuances that comes with catering your efforts depending on the nature of the pet and have had my fair share of dealing with different personalities so I am very willing to be patient and receptive of owners wishes so I can ensure the best experience for the both of us. Although I am new to this app, my past experiences are just as relevant, and I hope to meet some new pets and people in need of care around the area! While I am a full time college student, if I have a steady schedule set out for me I have the capacity to make daily trips for pet sitting if need be. I will be sure to be very prompt and communicative with any fluctuations in my routine as to better inform owners. While I cannot offer up care for pets in my apartment where pets aren’t allowed, I am more than willing to establish a trusted relationship with pet owners who are offering sitters to stay at their home. About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

About: I had a chocolate lab named Cooper growing up, and then a yellow lab puppy named Sully! This taught me how to live with senior dogs and young puppies. I would also walk a lot of neighborhood dogs during high school, so I have a lot of experience working with unfamiliar dogs. I’m a server at two restaurants so I have time before or after my shifts to check in on your pup! Weekdays are good for me but I can definitely fit in some weekend times if needed. I will be sure to follow any instructions because I know how much dogs like their routine. Along with this, I think just being a calm presence in the home goes a long way for a successful dog sit. I love to play fetch, brush dogs, go on walks, and anything else the dog wants to do!
