About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, small animals and horses, for over 30 years. I currently volunteer with the nonprofit Aging in Place with Pets and walk dogs for seniors and those with health challenges. I also have over 6 years of experience volunteering at animal shelters and working with rescue groups. I have also done agility and obedience training with my previous dogs. I have two dogs at home - a pit bull and a cattle dog/pit bull cross. Previous dog breeds include Labs, Pit Bulls, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, a Norwich Terrier and a Rottweiler. I've also had hamsters, cats, rabbits, and many horses. I love all animals and would be happy to help you out with yours. I work full-time from home and am available on weekdays and weekends. I am happy to walk your dogs in your neighborhood or yard. They will always be kept on leash and will not interact with other dogs unless approved by you.

About: As an experienced pet caretaker I come with four years of dog and cat sitting experience and a background growing up caring for multiple dogs, cats, and even reptiles! I prioritize keeping your pet's typical routines as much as is possible, to ensure they feel secure and well cared for while you are away. I am comfortable handling any special needs you may have and am more than happy to follow specific lists or instructions. I look forward to meeting your furry (or scaly) friends. I work full time on a regular schedule. Being skilled in time management, I am able to navigate my schedule, to accomplish my tasks. I am always willing to work with owners and occasionally have the flexibility shift my work to fit your pet's needs. I specialize in overnight care in client homes, I do go to work during the day, between 5-8 hours a day, but am otherwise at the home attending to any pet needs. Feel free to request anything else you may need, such as plant watering, general cleaning, or snow clearing and I will be happy to comply with most tasks.

About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

“Had a great experience booking daily walks for three days with Jenna. Had to book super last minute and she was kind enough to accept and be flexible with us. She provided a rover card for each walk showing how far and long they walked as well as if my dog pooped 1-2x which was rlly helpful for me. jenna also went the extra mile of feeding him and making sure he ate after his walks while also keeping him company for a good amount of time afterwards too. All of which was rlly appreciated, well communicated, and shows how much she cares! I also received a daily picture which I looked forward to everyday :) not many dog walkers would do all of this but she did. Also, it was rlly important that my dog goes on a 30 min walk once every 24 h or else he won’t eat and starts throwing up from starving himself and she responsibly did show up within the asked/ flexible time frame:) Would book another walk with her in the future”

About: I have been around pets my entire life, and I owe much of my knowledge of the little things that go into properly caring for them to my experience owning several pets myself (currently 3 dogs)! I have also had several years of experience helping friends, family, and neighbors care for their pets, both dogs and cats alike. I understand the nuances that comes with catering your efforts depending on the nature of the pet and have had my fair share of dealing with different personalities so I am very willing to be patient and receptive of owners wishes so I can ensure the best experience for the both of us. Although I am new to this app, my past experiences are just as relevant, and I hope to meet some new pets and people in need of care around the area! While I am a full time college student, if I have a steady schedule set out for me I have the capacity to make daily trips for pet sitting if need be. I will be sure to be very prompt and communicative with any fluctuations in my routine as to better inform owners. While I cannot offer up care for pets in my apartment where pets aren’t allowed, I am more than willing to establish a trusted relationship with pet owners who are offering sitters to stay at their home. I will take the extra time to ensure they feel comfortable with having me there and that I will be respectful of their space. About: Grew up on a farm in rural Vermont, taking care of 15-20 barn cats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, a senior dog, and the occasional puppy! I currently work as a preK-8th music teacher, but I am free for pet care late afternoon-evening on weekdays, and free anytime Friday-Sunday. I do not have space for pets in my own home, but am comfortable spending time with pets in their homes or walking and playing outdoors!

About: I have a great amount of experience with animals. I have cared for Bunnies,Rats, Birds, Reptiles, Cats and dogs as well. I’m familiar with treating senior dogs and cats. As well as younger animals. I’ve had animals my entire life. Starting May 15th. I will have a flexible availability. I would fit pet sitting into my daily/ weekly routine but ensuring all animals are fed and have water. I will give them some play time. If walks are needed I will ensure I arrive earlier to give any dogs walks. I have two cats. Athena and Vixen Both girls are on a strict routine. They get fed wet food twice a day and dry food once. Their wet food includes multivitamins, probiotics and allergy medications. Both cats have separate diets that best suit their needs. I ensure all things for them are done before starting my day. e.i Litterboxes, water refills, medications, food and play time. Upon arriving home I greet them and play for about 30min-1hr.

Rasied many dogs from puppies and am familiar with positive reinforcement training, crate training, and clicker training. Experienced with dogs that are people and/or dog shy and know how to handle the situation. I do not believe in such a thing as naturally aggressive dogs. Everyone has their own personality and experiences, so do animals. I'm caretaking for pets full time! I live in South Burlington can do walks or check-in's for locations near my home. I'm available on the weekends for longer sessions as well. I am happy to come to your home or office. I am available to care for your dog or cat in your home and can stay for extended periods within a 45min driving distance of Burlington. I love being active so am happy to take them hiking, running, or out for a gentle walk. I am unable to care for pets at my home.

About: I’m a student at the University of Vermont who currently lives in Burlington. I’m trying to make money for college and I know that this job would be perfect for me! I’ve had a dog my whole life, and I’ve absolutely adored taking care of them. I’m good with all types as well, I currently have a low-energy chocolate lab mix and a high-energy rescue as well. I can deal quite easily with messes and certain necessities like diapers/medications/dietary needs. If your dog is reactive, I know lots about that as well and am willing to do anything to make them more comfortable. My current course schedule is very laid back, so I have plenty of free time to take care of your animals! I’m free essentially every day, bedsides Mondays. My 2 dogs currently have a fenced in backyard which they love to use to play fetch. I have a dual-ended leash as well for walks with them both. I throughly enjoy taking them out to trails for new scenery as well! I often bring collapsible water bowls and such on walks as well. I love taking pictures of animals, so you’ll certainly get updates from me! If you ever want to FaceTime me to see how your pet is doing as well, I’m totally fine with that! About: I love pets. Ever since I was little, playing with my pets and taking care of them gave me a sense of importance. To help do so for members of my community would be a great way to reconnect with the simple pleasures of quality pet time. I currently work full-time 4 days a week. The other three days of the week I have incredible flexibility. On the days that I do work, I can flexible in the mornings until 12, 12:30 latest. I will be unable to have pets at my own home due to landlord requests. But, I have ample experience walking dogs and ensuring they are properly supervised. I also am incredibly active and a strong individual, callable of heavy lifting and can mitigate any dragging from a leash.

About: Growing up, we always had two dogs and a cat. I quickly became the designated dog walker of the family which then lead me into dog sitting for family friends and neighbors. About: I’ve been caring for my roommates, friends and family pets for at least 6 years. From Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I have the most expense with cats as I have my own and crew up with them my whole life. I grew up having animals whether it be fish, lizards, birds, cats cor dogs. I’ve always had a love for animals. Most of my roommates since moving to Denver have had dogs so I’ve had experience taking care of dogs of all sizes through my roomies. Im a flight attendant so I usually know my full month’s schedule on the 17th of the previous month. I can take on day before request usually within a day or more notice. Weekends require additional notice as they are not as common for me. I can come visit as early as 11am and as late as 5pm. I can be flexible depending on my schedule My pets in my own home are spoiled with love and toys and attention. I respect animals boundaries and have patience for my shy animals. I love hikes, walks, pets, and play time with furry friends. When roommates were out of towns I’d take care of feeding, walking and caring for their fur babies while they were gone.
