Since I am home full-time, I am able to dedicate my entire day to the care and well-being of the dogs and cats I look after in our large, two-story house in South Burlington, which features a big, secure yard where they can safely run and play. I have the experience to care for any type of animal, including puppies that require extra attention, patience, and routine. For your peace of mind, I provide very regular updates and frequently send photos of your companion throughout their stay. Please note that since I have a 20-month-old son, any dog staying with us must be perfectly comfortable and safe around young children. As a stay-at-home dad, I am at the house full-time, making it incredibly easy to fit dedicated pet care into my daily routine. I offer specialized services tailored to your pets' needs, including both cat and dog boarding at my home, where your furry friends will enjoy constant company and plenty of attention throughout the day. I also offer dog walking and 30 to 60-minute home visits at your location. Whether it's strictly following feeding and medication schedules, managing frequent potty breaks, or taking your dog out for a great walk to break up their day, you can rest assured your companions will receive premium care while staying completely on their regular routine. In my home: Your pets will have plenty of room to comfortable and safe in our large two-story house. Since I am home full-time, I provide constant supervision and companionship throughout the day. I ensure a safe, organized environment for both visiting dogs and cats, strictly following their regular feeding, potty, litter, and medication schedules so they feel right at home. At your home: I follow your exact instructions to respect your pet's routine, whether I am dropping by for a 30 to 60-minute visit or taking your dog out for a walk. I make sure your home stays secure, doors are locked, and your pet gets their regular feeding, fresh water, and potty breaks exactly as they do when you are there.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, small animals and horses, for over 30 years. I currently volunteer with the nonprofit Aging in Place with Pets and walk dogs for seniors and those with health challenges. I also have over 6 years of experience volunteering at animal shelters and working with rescue groups. I have also done agility and obedience training with my previous dogs. I have two dogs at home - a pit bull and a cattle dog/pit bull cross. Previous dog breeds include Labs, Pit Bulls, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, a Norwich Terrier and a Rottweiler. I've also had hamsters, cats, rabbits, and many horses. I love all animals and would be happy to help you out with yours. I work full-time from home and am available on weekdays and weekends. I am happy to walk your dogs in your neighborhood or yard. They will always be kept on leash and will not interact with other dogs unless approved by you.

About: Hi there, my name is MJ and I'm interested in help you with your doggos, or just your one and only pupper. I have been around dogs all my life. From chihuahuas, to pitties, a Rhodesian Ridgeback (yeah, they have a lot to say. Lol...), to your average American mutt, I seriously love all dogs. For the ones that just want the basics to those who are super charged, I can match their energy. I'm available for drop-in feedings, walks, and play-time. Have a doggo that needs a little extra attention, no problem I don't mind hanging out for a few hours, so you can run errands doggo free, appointment that might be long, or just need to escape for a bit. I am flexible between the hours of 8:30am-5pm, if you are in Shelburne village I can be a bit more flexible until 8pm. Overnight stay can be arranged with at least 2+ weeks notice. We have 2 fabulous felines, Zen & Leia, that are our fur babes!! We start every morning with feeding & water changes. Toy & fun, scritches & snuggles, sometimes even a cat nap. We make our own cat food as well. I have cared for personal family pets, friends pets (dogs, cats, fish, smallies.). I am very professional and enjoy being around animals very much. We have 2 cats, Zen Vader and Princess Leia. We also have a ball python, Ms. Bea Arthur. Caring for animals brings me so much joy, and I love the thank yous of butt wiggles and a purring machine.

About: I have taken care of my own pets and barn animals for 10+ years. My family and friends have relied me to feed, care for, walk, and play with their animals. I love dogs and cats, and have always been used to having them around. I am a full-time graduate student with a part-time job. That being said, I have time throughout the day, every morning, and every evening to stop by and play with your animals! I also have weekend availability. Since I currently do not own my own home and rent from a local in Burlington, I do not have in-home space to host and/or board dogs or cats.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs nearly my entire life, and have served as one of the primary caretakers in my family for almost all of the dogs we’ve had. I’ve taken care of dogs of all types and ages from puppies to seniors and chihuahuas to huskies I work on a contract basis and have more free time than time I’m working. I often have full weeks off and can spend that whole time with your pets. I have a cozy apartment with plenty of space for a dog, big or small. I have room to put a crate or dog bed if needed. I’d also feel comfortable staying in your home if that’s what is best for you and your dog.

About: Hey! Im Skye! I’m a senior at the university of Vermont studying political science and history. I’ve had pets from gerbils to horses my entire life and have cared for pets with special needs, disabilities, and aggression. I would love to spend some quality time with your pup or kitty whether it be snuggling all day or going for a hike! My number one priority is your pet’s safety and well being. —— Open to boarding smaller or low energy dogs, must be okay with cat in house. My schedule varies, but I work from home most of the time. If im watching your pup it will be a day I work from home so I can give them attention throughout the day. If watching a pet in your home, I follow the provided instructions, while ensuring to keep everything clean and tidy. If boarding in my home, your pet is welcome to the entire apartment, when supervised, and will mostly hang out in the living room or my room. Pets are allowed on couches and beds. We do have a cat in the home that will ignore the dog as long as it is not aggressive towards her.

About: Hi, My name is Amalia I am currently a graduate student at UVM with a track to medical school next year :) I just moved to VT from DC area a couple of months ago and love it here so far. I have had pets all my life and heard that in addition to pet sitting I could farm sit? I got back on rover the second I heard :) I have school during the day on Tuesdays and Thursdays, other than that I will walk or hang out with your pet before and after, depending on how often they need to be outside or with company I will always try to adhere to your and your pet’s needs. Please let me know in advance if there are any preferences when it comes to “homeyness” or accommodations necessary for your pet to feel most comfortable!

About: I love pets. Ever since I was little, playing with my pets and taking care of them gave me a sense of importance. To help do so for members of my community would be a great way to reconnect with the simple pleasures of quality pet time. I currently work full-time 4 days a week. The other three days of the week I have incredible flexibility. On the days that I do work, I can flexible in the mornings until 12, 12:30 latest. I will be unable to have pets at my own home due to landlord requests. But, I have ample experience walking dogs and ensuring they are properly supervised. I also am incredibly active and a strong individual, callable of heavy lifting and can mitigate any dragging from a leash.

About: My aunts and friends have always had dogs, so growing up I had a lot of experience with a wide variety of animals. I’ve helped my aunt train her excited Chocolate Lab puppy, taken care of my friend’s barky, 11 pound Mini Pinscher while they were away, and helped feed, walk, and play with my own household’s anxious, raw diet mut, Sheila. About: I have grown up with dogs, ranging from a teacup yorkie to a bullmastiff lab. I recently adopted a mix terrier of my own who has become by best friend. I have been trusted by friends and family to care for their pets like I do my own and have been doing so much more recently! I am a recent college grad on the job hunt but in the mean time would love spending time and caring for your four legged friends! About: I’m a student at the University of Vermont who currently lives in Burlington. I’m trying to make money for college and I know that this job would be perfect for me! I’ve had a dog my whole life, and I’ve absolutely adored taking care of them. I’m good with all types as well, I currently have a low-energy chocolate lab mix and a high-energy rescue as well. I can deal quite easily with messes and certain necessities like diapers/medications/dietary needs. If your dog is reactive, I know lots about that as well and am willing to do anything to make them more comfortable. My current course schedule is very laid back, so I have plenty of free time to take care of your animals! I’m free essentially every day, bedsides Mondays. My 2 dogs currently have a fenced in backyard which they love to use to play fetch. I have a dual-ended leash as well for walks with them both. I throughly enjoy taking them out to trails for new scenery as well! I often bring collapsible water bowls and such on walks as well. I love taking pictures of animals, so you’ll certainly get updates from me! If you ever want to FaceTime me to see how your pet is doing as well, I’m totally fine with that! I’m open to just about anything :)
