About: Hi there, my name is MJ and I'm interested in help you with your doggos, or just your one and only pupper. I have been around dogs all my life. From chihuahuas, to pitties, a Rhodesian Ridgeback (yeah, they have a lot to say. Lol...), to your average American mutt, I seriously love all dogs. For the ones that just want the basics to those who are super charged, I can match their energy. I'm available for drop-in feedings, walks, and play-time. Have a doggo that needs a little extra attention, no problem I don't mind hanging out for a few hours, so you can run errands doggo free, appointment that might be long, or just need to escape for a bit. I am flexible between the hours of 8:30am-5pm, if you are in Shelburne village I can be a bit more flexible until 8pm. Overnight stay can be arranged with at least 2+ weeks notice. We have 2 fabulous felines, Zen & Leia, that are our fur babes!! We start every morning with feeding & water changes. Toy & fun, scritches & snuggles, sometimes even a cat nap. We make our own cat food as well. I have cared for personal family pets, friends pets (dogs, cats, fish, smallies.). I am very professional and enjoy being around animals very much. We have 2 cats, Zen Vader and Princess Leia. We also have a ball python, Ms. Bea Arthur. Caring for animals brings me so much joy, and I love the thank yous of butt wiggles and a purring machine.

About: I have a great amount of experience with animals. I have cared for Bunnies,Rats, Birds, Reptiles, Cats and dogs as well. I’m familiar with treating senior dogs and cats. As well as younger animals. I’ve had animals my entire life. Starting May 15th. I will have a flexible availability. I would fit pet sitting into my daily/ weekly routine but ensuring all animals are fed and have water. I will give them some play time. If walks are needed I will ensure I arrive earlier to give any dogs walks. I have two cats. Athena and Vixen Both girls are on a strict routine. They get fed wet food twice a day and dry food once. Their wet food includes multivitamins, probiotics and allergy medications. Both cats have separate diets that best suit their needs. I ensure all things for them are done before starting my day. e.i Litterboxes, water refills, medications, food and play time. Upon arriving home I greet them and play for about 30min-1hr.

For your peace of mind, I provide very regular updates and frequently send photos of your companion throughout their stay. Please note that since I have a 20-month-old son, any dog staying with us must be perfectly comfortable and safe around young children. I offer specialized services tailored to your pets' needs, including both cat and dog boarding at my home, where your furry friends will enjoy constant company and plenty of attention throughout the day. I also offer dog walking and 30 to 60-minute home visits at your location. Whether it's strictly following feeding and medication schedules, managing frequent potty breaks, or taking your dog out for a great walk to break up their day, you can rest assured your companions will receive premium care while staying completely on their regular routine. In my home: Your pets will have plenty of room to comfortable and safe in our large two-story house. Since I am home full-time, I provide constant supervision and companionship throughout the day. I ensure a safe, organized environment for both visiting dogs and cats, strictly following their regular feeding, potty, litter, and medication schedules so they feel right at home. At your home: I follow your exact instructions to respect your pet's routine, whether I am dropping by for a 30 to 60-minute visit or taking your dog out for a walk. I make sure your home stays secure, doors are locked, and your pet gets their regular feeding, fresh water, and potty breaks exactly as they do when you are there.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, small animals and horses, for over 30 years. I currently volunteer with the nonprofit Aging in Place with Pets and walk dogs for seniors and those with health challenges. I also have over 6 years of experience volunteering at animal shelters and working with rescue groups. I have also done agility and obedience training with my previous dogs. I have two dogs at home - a pit bull and a cattle dog/pit bull cross. Previous dog breeds include Labs, Pit Bulls, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, a Norwich Terrier and a Rottweiler. I've also had hamsters, cats, rabbits, and many horses. I love all animals and would be happy to help you out with yours. I work full-time from home and am available on weekdays and weekends. I do my best to keep my schedule current, but feel free to check with me if there are questions. My services are provided at your home or office. I am happy to walk your dogs in your neighborhood or yard. They will always be kept on leash and will not interact with other dogs unless approved by you.

About: My aunts and friends have always had dogs, so growing up I had a lot of experience with a wide variety of animals. I’ve helped my aunt train her excited Chocolate Lab puppy, taken care of my friend’s barky, 11 pound Mini Pinscher while they were away, and helped feed, walk, and play with my own household’s anxious, raw diet mut, Sheila. I know how to love and take care of any type of dog—from loudly outgoing to shy! I just finished my sophomore year of college and am looking to help care for anyone’s pets this summer. My schedule is open, so I am flexible to visit your pet whenever you need! I will gladly take your dog on a nice long walk and play with them around your backyard to release any pent up energy! Inside, I’m also up for playing with toys and giving lots of pets!

About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

About: I’ve been taking care of family dogs as well as those of friends, neighbours, and extended family for about 15 years. I’m a lover of dogs of all sizes and breeds, and doing activities from walking, hiking, running, playing and even just chilling on the couch! Over the last couple of years I’ve been watching a few different senior dogs over night for long periods of time, providing medications and other remedies they may need. I’m currently between jobs so I am currently free Monday through Sunday, morning, noon or night for both day time care as well as overnight stays with any furry friends. I am currently living just outside of Burlington in a fenced in back yard with one 9 year old pug named Duke. I have enough space here for your pet to run around and play either solo or with my dog. I at this point do not have the capacity for overnight stays but am working on creating a space where that can be possible! In regards to other care, I am able to stay over night, check in daily or even just walk your pet when needed! I have a car so I can meet just about anywhere and take your pet on little adventures if desired. I love to stay active so playing, walking, hiking, running and swimming are some of my favourite activities to do! However if needed I can kick my feet up and be a homebody for the more lazy pups.

About: Hi! I’m Logan. A little bit about me- I am a junior at UVM studying art education. I currently work at a preschool summer camp in Richmond, VT. I’ve owned dogs and cats for my whole life and since I was old enough I have been taking care of my family pets. I currently live with my own cat here in Vermont and my family has 2 dogs and 1 cat in my hometown. When I was living at home I would regularly walk, play, feed, bathe, and love my pets. Right now I only do that for my cat! I have administered pill oral medication to my cat and dog; and have administered syringe oral meds to my cat. I have cared for my senior dog who passed away at 13 from old age. I have 2 years of experience in caring for senior horses. I would care for them by feeding, administering medication, preparing for farrier visits, grooming, and mucking stalls. Due to them being senior horses they were not able to be regularly exercised. I have always had a deep appreciation for all animals yet this experience made my heart grow bigger for all different types of animals. Reach out if you would like me to help care for your pets! I am available before 8am and after 5pm on M/T/W/Th for drop in visits. I am only able to do walks after 5pm on those days. I am available all day on F/S/Su for drop ins and walks. I care for my own cat by providing her with at least 15 minutes of play time 3 times a day. I feed her breakfast and dinner at a scheduled window of time each day. I give her the medication she needs put into her food with dinner daily, as well as cleaning her litter daily. The most important thing for me when caring for your pet is following your instructions and boundaries! In addition to that I will take them on walks, have play time, and feed them!

Big, small, stubborn, loud, quiet, shy, young, old, hyper, chill - all animals deserve to be loved. Grew up in suburbs near trails with dogs on and off leash. Flexible schedule. I have a large car to bring 1 or multiple dogs out for adventures. With permission, I may spoil them. Worked as a vet tech assistant for 3 years. Rasied many dogs from puppies and am familiar with positive reinforcement training, crate training, and clicker training. Experienced with dogs that are people and/or dog shy and know how to handle the situation. I do not believe in such a thing as naturally aggressive dogs. Everyone has their own personality and experiences, so do animals. I'm caretaking for pets full time! I live in South Burlington can do walks or check-in's for locations near my home. I'm available on the weekends for longer sessions as well. I am happy to come to your home or office. I am available to care for your dog or cat in your home and can stay for extended periods within a 45min driving distance of Burlington. I love being active so am happy to take them hiking, running, or out for a gentle walk. I am unable to care for pets at my home.

About: I’m a student at the University of Vermont who currently lives in Burlington. I’m trying to make money for college and I know that this job would be perfect for me! I’ve had a dog my whole life, and I’ve absolutely adored taking care of them. I’m good with all types as well, I currently have a low-energy chocolate lab mix and a high-energy rescue as well. I can deal quite easily with messes and certain necessities like diapers/medications/dietary needs. If your dog is reactive, I know lots about that as well and am willing to do anything to make them more comfortable. My current course schedule is very laid back, so I have plenty of free time to take care of your animals! I’m free essentially every day, bedsides Mondays. My 2 dogs currently have a fenced in backyard which they love to use to play fetch. I have a dual-ended leash as well for walks with them both. I throughly enjoy taking them out to trails for new scenery as well! I often bring collapsible water bowls and such on walks as well. I love taking pictures of animals, so you’ll certainly get updates from me! If you ever want to FaceTime me to see how your pet is doing as well, I’m totally fine with that! I’m open to just about anything :)

About: My name is Amelia and I am in college studying animal sciences. I have experience with dogs walking, cat and fish care, and would love to help you and your pets out in any way I can! I’m currently a full time student, so I can pop in and out mid morning and in between classes throughout the week. I will make sure the animal gets a good chunk of my time and attention and will make sure not to rush them. It’s important the animal is safe and stimulated while I am with them. If I am dropping in to feed or take care of your pet I will ensure a clean environment and that they are enriched until a caretaker returns. If I am taking your pet on a walk I will cater to the dogs temperament and endurance. The pet’s experience (and their bathroom/food needs) is optimized.

About: I love pets. Ever since I was little, playing with my pets and taking care of them gave me a sense of importance. To help do so for members of my community would be a great way to reconnect with the simple pleasures of quality pet time. I currently work full-time 4 days a week. The other three days of the week I have incredible flexibility. On the days that I do work, I can flexible in the mornings until 12, 12:30 latest. I will be unable to have pets at my own home due to landlord requests. But, I have ample experience walking dogs and ensuring they are properly supervised. I also am incredibly active and a strong individual, callable of heavy lifting and can mitigate any dragging from a leash.
