About: I grew up on a farm so I've been surrounded by animals my entire life. I have experience with dairy operations, including milking, cleaning, and birthing goats. I also have experience caring for goats, horses, mini ponies, dogs, cats, small reptiles, birds, and guinea pigs. I have been pet sitting since I was 15 with all of the perviously mentioned animals. I also have experience in training horses as well as puppies. I also have experience working with a variety of aged animals, including seniors, so I am able to adapt to additional needs. I also have experience administering medication to a variety of different animals. I am looking for a part time position while I finish up my studies at UVM. I only have classes in the evening two nights out of the week. I can be flexible to drop by and hang out with your pet during the day, if it's better I can also hang out with your pet for most of the day if I can study with them! Also if you contact me with enough notice (~ 3 days) I will most likely be able to make time of the weekends to provide care! Typically I like to meet the pet while the owner is there to see their personality while they have the comfort of their owner there. Then I try and establish trust and connection with your critter while you are there so it won't be as scary when I return while the owner is away. I try and stick to the critter's normal routine, whether that's going for a walk, playing, or feedings at a certain time or in a certain manner to try and maintain their normal routine as much as possible.

“Omni is great, knows exactly what to do with my impulsive pup. Confident, gentle, kind.”

“Christine is fantastic. So friendly and caring to our pup and even managed to be nonplussed by the two neighborhood dogs deciding to join in on the walk! Highly recommend her.”

“We LOVE Holly. She’s kind, knowledgeable, and reliable. I even think she’s made Kevin a better leash walker- something I’ve struggled to with.”

“Marissa helped out with some dog walking for me while I was away. She was excellent with my pup and flexible with my schedule and coordinated with my housesitter which was much appreciated. Recommended!”

About: Having had pets all my life, I feel completely at home taking care of animals! Over my 27 years, I have had 4 cats and 1 dog. I've also fostered 3 cats, including a kitten who needed special medical attention and a neglected cat who was severely skittish. I feel I have a special ability to draw the sweetness of animals to the surface; often shy street cats will become open up to me, and apathetic cats have been known to let me pick them up. Though I grew up with cats, don't mistake me for an exclusive cat person! I have learned to care for dogs in my adulthood and I love to go for walks and play with my sweet goldendoodle, Morty. Please reach out to me -- I would love to get to know your baby! I work remotely as a math tutor at odd hours of the day, so my schedule is very open and flexible! Please feel free to reach out to me with whatever type of care you need and we can find something that works. I am flexible with my care. I always like to work with my clients to figure out what works best for them and their pet!

“Molly does a great job with Layla! She’s very responsive and adaptable to her changing needs as a growing puppy that’s still learning and training”

“Brooke had been wonderful! She is reliable, communicative and seems to genuinely care about our senior pup. Looking forward to ongoing partnership!”

About: I love animals and i love spending time with them. I have two older dogs of my own that require a lot of care which I have experience with! I regularly donate to local animal shelters. I also owned a horse which is extra experience!! I’m free whenever!!! I’m always down to come help someone in need when it comes to their pets. I have a very flexible schedule on weekends and semi flexible on weekdays. I have a dog with one eye so she requires you to be a little extra careful so we don’t use a fence for her we just take her out on the leash!! I feed in mornings and nights and take out throughout day!

“Lou is great. He's flexible and is great with my big Malamute and Bernese. I work long shifts every once in a while and I have no doubt that they'll be fine while I'm at work when Lou comes over to take them for a walk.”

About: "I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I had many dogs and cats growing up. Currently, I have a two-year-old dog who is highly active, and we enjoy outdoor adventures together—hiking, skiing, and even paddleboarding. I believe in treating each pet as an individual, with unique needs and personalities, ensuring they receive the specific care and attention they deserve. Whether it’s providing exercise, companionship, or simply keeping them comfortable, I approach every pet care situation with responsibility, love, and dedication." I work 2 days a week as a nurse but the rest of my days are very flexible. During my off days I am able to be home with your pet and take them on long walks and adventures. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a very large, securely fenced-in yard where your dog can play off-leash and enjoy plenty of space to run and explore. We live in a quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood next to a scenic bike path, making it ideal for peaceful walks and enjoyable outdoor adventures. Inside, my home is pet-safe, with a calm and welcoming environment designed to keep your furry friend comfortable and secure. My own friendly, playful dog will also be there to keep your pet company, ensuring they have a buddy for fun and companionship. You can trust that your pet will be treated like family, with all the attention, care, and supervision they need to feel safe and at ease.

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since 2019. I have trained, taken care of, walked, and many more with all sizes of dogs. I am very energetic and love playing with dogs to get their energy out, love going on kick walks with all puppies, dogs, and senior dogs. I have a dog and take her out whenever I can, on the weekends I take her to the dog park and get her tired out. I try to fit pet care into my routine whenever I can. My dog is trained in commands and knows not to wander off. I have a mobile fence for training dogs. I use non-retractable leashes so she is always at an arms length, and a handle on harness if needed.

“She is super communicative and reliable and great with our dog! Highly recommend!”

“Great communication and incredibly helpful!”

“Alison was outstanding. She went above and beyond in giving my border collie a really good outing. I would book her again with no hesitation and with great confidence that my dog will be happily tired and well cared for.”

“Beatrice walks our Bernie daily - great communication with us - and we are new pet owners so texting her constantly! We have been working with her for over a month now and feel really lucky to have found her.”

About: I am an avid animal lover, hanging with pets is a privilege and I will love your pet as much as I love my own! I have very strong communication skills, you will never wonder if your pet is doing OK and you will not lack photos of our time together! With permission, of course! I do not have it active on here, but can consider in home or boarding in my home, but it can be tricky for my schedule, as I have a son and kitties, so it would be a convo for sure, please don’t be afraid to ask. I work full-time, and my position is remote. I miss taking time out of my day to walk my dog who passed away six years ago. I have cats now and I enjoy taking time out to hang with them as well but looking forward to some dog walks as well! Animals are family, I will treat yours exactly as I treat my own, with so much love and respect. It is an honor to spend time with animals and to listen to their body language, they are always communicating with us.

“Allison was great with our dogs. She was on time, communicated well and the dogs seemed to enjoy the time she spent with them. We would definitely have her help care for our dogs again in the future.”

About: Growing up with large dogs and currently living with a cat and a Cane Corso, I have a lifelong passion for animals. I trained my family dog to become a therapy dog, and together, we visited schools, colleges, and nursing homes, spreading joy and comfort. As a psychology graduate student at Saint Mike’s, I’m looking for a flexible and enjoyable job that lets me combine my love for animals with my professional background. I’d love to care for your pet like they’re part of my family! I’m currently a full-time grad student, so my schedule is a bit tight from 5 p.m. to at least 8 p.m. on weeknights. I also have my internship two days a week. However, I’m very flexible and available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so I can accommodate your pet’s needs during those times! I prioritize your pet's safety and well-being in every aspect of care. I have a reliable car to safely transport pets to local dog parks or walking trails, providing them with plenty of exercise and stimulation. I am familiar with pet-friendly environments and always ensure they are comfortable and secure, whether we’re out for a walk or relaxing at home.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, and started taking an active role in their care around age 12. I’ve grown up, training and walking my family dogs, as well as pet sitting and looking after friends dogs. I currently have a 4 year old dog of my own. My specialties lie in taking care of adult and senior dogs, though I have ample experience with puppy training as well. I’m currently a student working part-time, with a fairly flexible schedule. I attend classes daily, with most afternoons open. Weekends are pretty much always available! I have experience with reactive, anxious, and high energy. I have access to a car, and can walk your dog on hikes, in your neighborhood, or other areas they prefer!

“Whenever I have to be away from home I cross my fingers that Virginia will be available. I am always 100% confident leaving my 2 in her care. I know they'll be fed and watered, but mainly, I know she'll spend quality time with them- playing, talking, cuddling. It's the attention and affection I know they'll receive, more than anything. She has a way with animals and they can tell. And she reassures me with photo and video updates! :)”

Stacia would come by morning and night to feed our girls, give them cuddles and talk to them, and clean the litter box. We always received photos and videos of their visits together. Stacia made our family and kitties feel assured they were in loving hands when we were away.
