“We can't thank Natalie & Patrick enough for the great care and love they showed Ziggy while they were watching him! They provided us with great updates throughout his stay with them. It was so nice to know that our pup was in great hands and having a great time. Their dog is also a great companion and Ziggy had a blast having a friend to hang out with during his stay!”

“Keelie had an awesome day with John! The backyard is perfect for any size dog but especially for larger dogs with lots of energy! He also sent me some photos during the day so I knew that she was living her best life. She hesitated when it was time to get in the car and leave. I was visiting VT from NC for an ailing family member and I am so grateful that John squeezed Keelie in to his "pack" at the very last minute and even allowed us to come over the night before for a meet & greet. Weather your visiting the area and don't want to leave your pet(s) alone at your hotel or local to the area, you would be hard-pressed to find a better caregiver :)”

“Sonya took care of our three pets this past week!! She is warm and super friendly and kind !! She did an amazing job taking care of our pets in addition to her pets and one other dog!! I found her honest and trustworthy and she sent us wonderful photos and messages to update their care. We highly recommend Sonya to take great care of your pets!!”

“Aiden was great with Lana. He sent photos of her, got out for walks and was very responsive to questions. She came back happy and healthy. Will for sure be reaching out again for Lana in the future.”

“Savannah was ready to jump in on short notice and our dog had a great weekend. She was very flexible about dropoff and pickup times, and from all outward indications our pooch was super happy.”

“Nicholas was a great caretaker for our 9 year old dog. He has a great backyard which our dog loved and a warm family environment. Nicholas was very flexible with us as our plans changed and he is extremely easy to work with. Would highly recommend and we are going to rebook.”

“Laura and Frank were great. Sent pictures daily and they live on 13 acres giving Roxy plenty of room to roam! They treat their dog guests like family--thank you guys for taking great care of Roxy!”

“Christina was fantastic! Zoe loved spending time with her, and we appreciated the photo updates while we were gone. We don't need boarding very often, but next time we do, we will absolutely use Christina again. Thank you so much!”
“Rosan was OUTSTANDING. He provided great support, communication, and care for our dog. We felt at ease while away and never worried. We can’t recommend him enough.”

“The host and his wife are sweet and caring! Femi had a wonderful night with a lot of outdoor plays. I would come back again for sure and will recommend them to anyone who needs a great Rover host!!”

“Our small, active dog had a wonderful stay at Christina’s! (2 nights) She is very caring and watchful of the dogs in her care. Sweet grass yard, and dogs can go in and out as they please. She took the time to send photos every day, which gave us wonderful peace of mind that our little guy was doing well. We’ll book with Christina again!!”

“Catherine and her husband are amazing! You can tell they really care about dogs and will work around your dogs needs. We got a bunch of pictures and they had so many fun adventures during that time.”

“JD and his family took excellent care of my two dogs, Dot and Tot. They were caring, meticulous about schedules, and communicative to me throughout the weekend. Their house is located next to a large park with a variety of hiking trails - an excellent location providing plenty of walking and exercise opportunities. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again when I come back up!”

“Julia was AWESOME. In fact, I worried that our dog, Tucker, would end up preferring to stay with her rather than come home with us! She watched our very enthusiastic 1.5 year old golden retriever for the weekend, and took him on hikes, had him splashing in brooks and meeting goats. She was easy to get in touch with, accepted our last minute booking (including squeezing in a meet and greet prior) and sent great photos. 10/10 recommend!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Williston
Daniel helped take care of Emily for two days when I was away. He was very professional throughout the whole process and apparently Emily liked Daniel. Daniel responded my request promptly and was punctual while picking up and dropping off Emily. He was very thoughtful to bring dog treats the first time to meet Emily and updated Emily's information every evening to let me know how Emily was doing. He asked question if felt uncertain to make sure my dog not nervous in a new place. Daniel works during the daytime but I think he told me his roommate working at home and was able to take care of Emily to make sure she had enough walk time in a day. My dog was back home full of energy and I could tell she enjoyed staying at Daniel's place! I would highly recommend to choose Daniel for his professional attitude and high-quality care for dogs!

My dog had the BEST time during her recent stay with Natalie and Patrick. She played, she swam, she walked in the woods, she got treats, she was doted upon, and she was thoroughly and entirely taken care of. It was wonderful to know she was in great hands and having such a good time. Natalie and Patrick, thank you!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
