About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’m also studying veterinary medicine, giving me a strong understanding of animal health and behavior. Over the years, I’ve dog sat for many families, caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I work part time and I have a yard and a full apartment where an animal could be very comfortable in. I’m very active and take many walks throughout the day. I have a lot of space in our home. A lot of space for a dog bed or crate to be in the bedroom or even sleep in the bed. I have a private yard that is set away from the street and other neighbors with friendly dogs. I follow each pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, fresh food and water, and lots of love. It took a few days for Miso to adjust to his first ever sitter and Aaron handled it well - checking in with us when he noticed that Miso wasn't eating and seemed a little home sick. By the end of the week, Miso seemed to be having a great time. Aaron sent pictures and updates throughout the week, which was really appreciated. We would highly recommend Aaron.
