Part of the Family!
Hello! We’re a warm, loving family of three (Two adults and one responsible 8 year-old) and have lived in Burlington’s Old North End since 2018. We’d love to care for your pet! Dogs have been part of our lives for as long as we can remember. Between our own previous dogs, family and friends’ pets, and years of caring for dogs, we have experience with a wide variety of ages, breeds, personalities, and needs, from energetic puppies to senior dogs and everything in between. We have also volunteered and received training through the Animal Care and Control Center (AC&C) in Harlem, New York. Our experience has taught us to approach each dog as an individual and pay close attention to their personality, routines, communication, and needs. We are comfortable with dogs who need extra care, including senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. We are patient, dependable, attentive, and genuinely love having animals in our home. We have an eight year old daughter who is sweet, bright, gentle, and loves animals, so pets must be comfortable and safe around children. Our home has a fenced shared yard and is just minutes from several large parks, outdoor spaces, and dog parks. We have a flexible schedule and love filling our days with walks, play, fresh air, and companionship. Most of all, we want every dog in our care to feel safe, happy, loved, and part of the family!

Julian and Jocelyn were the best! I was gone for 9 days and that's the longest I've left my dog peppy but he seemed to be enjoying himself thoroughly ! They sent daily pictures and updates and answered any concerns I had throughout my trip..peppy got lots of love and snuggles and would definetly have these two watch peppy again on future trips!

Once again, my baby girl Brooklyn had an amazing stay with Julian and Jocelyn! I was on a cruise for 7 days and had such peace of mind which made my vacation completely relaxing. Mind you, in the past, I had always been nervous leaving my baby with a sitter while traveling on a cruise or overseas with fear that I would not be able to contact the sitter for updates due to unreliable cell services. Nowadays, whenever my baby girl is with these wonderful hosts, I am completely at ease. Yes, this lovely couple provides timely updates and photos, but it's really their genuine love and care for the animals in their care that made them the most amazing and trustworthy hosts ever, and I know my baby girl secretly hopes that I travel more so that she gets to hang out with them more :).
You guys are amazing as always!! I always rebook with them when they are available. It is the best peace of mind knowing Darla is in great care with Julian And Jocelyn!!! Thank you guys so much!!!
Julian and Jocelyn are the best hosts ever!!!! My dog Darla loves going there and spending the day playing fetch and running in the park. They put so much time and really think about her! She went to the park every day and they sent amazing photos!!! I can't recommend Julian and Jocelyn enough, this is darlas third or fourth time there and we will keep coming back! :)
My baby girl had yet another fun, snuggle, and love-filled stay with Julian and Jocelyn! This was the fifth time Brooklyn has stayed with them, and she got very excited as we were approaching their apartment building on the day of the drop off. Once there, Brooklyn was so happy to see this warm and lovely couple and made herself at home right away. During the stay, I received daily detailed updates accompanied by amazing photos, and was kept updated on what seemed to be a rash that my baby was developing; I know Brooklyn had a better time hanging with Julian and Jocelyn than she does at home which was just so comforting while away. I can't say enough wonderful things about this couple, and the fact that I check their availability whenever I have flexibility, before booking my vacation speaks volume on how much Brooklyn and I adore and trust this couple! You will not find a better host than them and I highly recommend them especially who, like me, tend to get nervous about leaving their fur babies when going away, as Julian and Jocelyn have me cured :)! And did I mention that they are always, always super accommodating with pick up and drop off and even picked up my baby for one of the stays which made my life so much easier!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. We are an active, fun family and spend a lot of time outdoors, so walks, exploring, and playing with the dogs in our care are already a big part of our day. One of us is home most of the time, which gives us plenty of flexibility and allows us to spend meaningful time with each pet. We’re happy to work around their usual routines, energy levels, and specific needs.

We have a sweet, welcoming home where pets can feel cozy, comfortable, and safe. We take time to understand each pet’s routines, personality, and needs and follow their care instructions closely. We’re surrounded by parks, open spaces, and dog parks, and just five minutes from the waterfront and bike path. We prioritize safety, consistency, communication, and making sure they feel loved and at ease.
A typical day
We are lucky to live near several wonderful parks, including a large dog park, and just five minutes from the waterfront, bike path, and trails. Our friendly, safe neighborhood is perfect for walks in any weather. A typical day includes plenty of walks, outdoor time, play, cuddles, and lots of attention. We can visit the dog park for exercise and socialization if that is something you and your dog prefer, or enjoy a quieter walk or time at home. We are happy to follow your dog’s usual routine and adjust the day to their energy level, personality, and needs. One of us is home most of the time, so your dog will have plenty of companionship and quality time throughout the day. We want them to feel comfortable, loved, and right at home while they are with us.

- We love all breeds and have no breed preferences. The most important thing is knowing your dog’s personality, tendencies, and comfort level ahead of time. Because we have a kid, we can only care for dogs who are comfortable and safe around children. If your dog has any history of aggression, anxiety, reactivity, or difficulty with other dogs, please let us know in advance. The more we know, the better we can make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
