About: Hi, My name is Amalia I am currently a graduate student at UVM with a track to medical school next year :) I just moved to VT from DC area a couple of months ago and love it here so far. I have had pets all my life and heard that in addition to pet sitting I could farm sit? I got back on rover the second I heard :) I have school during the day on Tuesdays and Thursdays, other than that I will walk or hang out with your pet before and after, depending on how often they need to be outside or with company I will always try to adhere to your and your pet’s needs. Please let me know in advance if there are any preferences when it comes to “homeyness” or accommodations necessary for your pet to feel most comfortable!

About: I’ve been surrounded by pets of all kinds since a young age. I have the ability to take care of multiple pets at once, including my three dogs Oliver, Cullen, and Suga. My priority is to make sure every dog I sit is shown proper care, love, and happiness. I have a very open schedule this summer. I do like to have some of my weekends to myself so I am unable to spend nights on weekends. I have open availability and am excited to meet some furry friends! Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I exclusively provide care in clients' homes to help pets stay in their familiar environment. Whether it’s walks, feedings, playtime, or just quiet companionship, I follow your pet’s schedule and preferences closely.I always take time to learn each animal’s needs, from medications to favorite toys or hiding spots. I can also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and loved while you're away.Your home is treated with the same respect and care I’d give my own—clean, secure, and just how you left it.
About: I've had dogs since I was very little. Very comfortable with anything from small and anxious to big and jumpy. Currently have 2 cats at home, a very young senior and a old kitten. I am a full time graduate student with some intermittent periods of free time and am always looking to take a study break and go hang out with some pets. Im currently a Doctorate of Physical Therapy student at UVM. So whenever I'm not in class I'm free to spend it with your furry friend. Since I have cats, I always make sure my home is pet safe and there isn't anything around that could hurt them or get them sick.

About: Hey! Im Skye! I’m a senior at the university of Vermont studying political science and history. I’ve had pets from gerbils to horses my entire life and have cared for pets with special needs, disabilities, and aggression. I would love to spend some quality time with your pup or kitty whether it be snuggling all day or going for a hike! My number one priority is your pet’s safety and well being. —— Open to boarding smaller or low energy dogs, must be okay with cat in house. My schedule varies, but I work from home most of the time. If im watching your pup it will be a day I work from home so I can give them attention throughout the day. If watching a pet in your home, I follow the provided instructions, while ensuring to keep everything clean and tidy. If boarding in my home, your pet is welcome to the entire apartment, when supervised, and will mostly hang out in the living room or my room. Pets are allowed on couches and beds. We do have a cat in the home that will ignore the dog as long as it is not aggressive towards her.

About: My name is Amelia and I am in college studying animal sciences. I have experience with dogs walking, cat and fish care, and would love to help you and your pets out in any way I can! I’m currently a full time student, so I can pop in and out mid morning and in between classes throughout the week. I will make sure the animal gets a good chunk of my time and attention and will make sure not to rush them. It’s important the animal is safe and stimulated while I am with them. If I am dropping in to feed or take care of your pet I will ensure a clean environment and that they are enriched until a caretaker returns. If I am taking your pet on a walk I will cater to the dogs temperament and endurance. The pet’s experience (and their bathroom/food needs) is optimized.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all throughout my childhood and have taken care of a couple dogs full time over the years. I am experienced mostly with dogs but I am familiar with cat care. I will follow your directions to a T and will transport animals as needed for walks/hikes. I will treat them as my own as I don’t have any pets and miss having animals around.

I also have a rescue puppy that accompanies me depending on the job - an added bonus for playtime and socialization :) At this point I am doing work from home and have a flexible schedule - given enough notice, i will be sure to fit you in my schedule! I care for your dogs as I would mine—plenty of walks, snuggles and love, and playtime both in and outside. I listen to what your specific dog enjoys to do :)

The other three days of the week I have incredible flexibility. On the days that I do work, I can flexible in the mornings until 12, 12:30 latest. About: My family has had pets for years-first a bunny, now cats, and we fostered a dog a few years ago. I’ve spent the last few years house/pet sitting in my hometown, and I’m now bringing my skills to Burlington. I’ve cared for many animals before, from rambunctious puppies to a senior dog with arthritis in its final year of life. I love spending time outdoors and love my time even more when I get to share it with a furry friend! I’m a full time student at UVM with lots of free time I’d love to spend with your pet. I’m free all day Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and have occasional weekend availability. I’m also available for house sitting jobs! I try to care for pets exactly as their owner would. I like to meet the pet with the owner the first time, so they can meet me with a “trusted adult” as it helps build rapport with the animals. I meet them and their needs wherever they’re at: whether they’re excited and want to play or simply lay around all day, I’m happy to join in.

Casey did a wonderful job walking our dog Jax while I was away on a five-day business trip. Her help was a huge support to my wife while I was gone, and we really appreciated having someone so dependable caring for Jax each day. It quickly became clear how much Jax liked and trusted Casey. He figured out when she would arrive and would sit by the window looking out expectantly for her each day. Casey was great to work with from start to finish. She came to our house beforehand for a meet-and-greet with Jax, and she provided thoughtful updates after every walk. It gave us real peace of mind knowing Jax was so happy and well cared for. We would gladly work with Casey again and highly recommend her.

Gabrielle is kind, reliable, communicative and clearly has a natural way with dogs. My dog felt comfortable with her right away, which says something because he can be wary of new people. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such great hands. Gabrielle went above and beyond and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker. At the end, my dog wanted to stay with her…the ultimate endorsement!

Sarah has taken Remi for two walks recently and is wonderful with her! Remi is a rescue with her own particular issues and Sarah is patient with her, gives me updates and pics of their time together . Already booked Sarah for house sitting for our upcoming vacations 😊
