I really appreciated Ashley's thoughtful and reliable cat care, including regular updates. Jasmine seemed content upon my return!

Ashley took the best care of my handsome cat son! She didn’t bat an eye at my myriad of odd requests and kitty idiosyncrasies. PK is an indoor/outdoor boy, and she lovingly accompanied him on his neighborhood sojourns, providing amble photographic evidence along the way. She was prompt, thorough, and I can tell she truly loves the animals in her care. PK and I are very happy to be reunited after my trip, and it was such a relief to come home to a healthy kitty and a peaceful home. Hooray!

Ashley did a wonderful job with my cat Vinnie while I was out of town - they sent daily updates, including photos and videos, detailing any shifts in his mood while also sharing some bits of his antics during their visits. It really gave me peace of mind to know that he had someone so attentive taking care of him, and when I got home he seemed to be in great spirits. They were also flexible when I asked for one additional day of visiting. I'd definitely recommend Ashley for anyone with petsitting needs!

11 out of 10 recommend Ashley to anyone who is looking for overnight care (or daily drop ins) for their pet. She is attentive, patient and beyond kind. We have been using her services for drop on sitting for months now. She is definitely one of the best sitters we have used for our animals. She is very knowledgeable about body languages of dogs and is very observant to make sure our pup doesn't over heat when playing outside. This was out first time having her stay overnight with our "kids' and she made sure to send updates and pictures. She goes above and beyond every time for us and we are so grateful for her. We will definitely have her stay overnight again with our "kids".

Ashley is fabulous! She took lots of pics, at my request, fed my dogs, let them outside, and loved on them. She’s great, communicates extremely well, and is timely. I would highly recommend her.

We cannot recommend Ashley for in-home pet sitting. During our meet-and-greet, Ashley told us she would typically be away from the home for approximately two hours per day. However, during the first eight hours of our booking, she spent only ~1 hour total with our dog, Layla. We were already traveling when the booking began and nearly missed a connecting flight because Ashley arrived approx. 2 hours late to our agreed start time and was not responding to our calls/messages. When we raised concerns on whether she had taken on too many drop-in visits during our booking, Ashley acknowledged that she was overbooked. Throughout the booking, we flagged concerns about the level of care being provided, but at the end of booking, she subsequently reported us to Rover's Safety Team regarding pet cameras that were plainly visible in our home, and disclosed during the meet-and-greet, and again before the booking began. Most concerning was the lack of communication regarding changes in Layla's condition during the stay. Layla was a senior dog but was in great health, and while we do not blame Ashley for Layla's decline or subsequent euthanasia approximately 24 hours after the booking ended, we were disappointed that significant changes in her behavior were not effectively communicated to us. As pet owners, we rely on sitters to monitor our pets closely and promptly share when ‘things are off’ so we can make informed decisions. Ultimately, Rover provided us with a full refund. Our experience left us feeling that the care provided did not match the expectations established during the meet-and-greet, and communication, reliability, and transparency were lacking throughout the booking. Ashley may be a better fit for clients seeking drop-in visits. We would not recommend her for in-home house sitting where extended presence, close observation, and proactive communication are expected.
