About: I grew up with my family’s various rescue cats and dogs, so I’ve always been an animal lover. Since childhood, I’ve also enjoyed pet sitting for friends, family members, and neighbors whenever I’ve had the opportunity to do so. I have experience looking after cats and dogs, as well as birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, and a couple of different types of lizards. I have some experience with training my/my family’s cats and dogs, and lots of experience with giving love to animals of all kinds! Because of my love for animals, I donate 10% of my proceeds from each Rover booking towards humane societies and animal rescue organizations. I’m currently a full-time college student, so I use the remainder of my Rover earnings to afford care for my own cat. During the school year, I’m a full-time student at the University of Vermont, and I love petsitting between classes. When I’m not in classes or doing Rover visits, I’m often spending time with my own cat! I spend most school breaks with my family in Illinois, and frequently petsit then too. I recognize that every animal is unique with their own personality and needs, and it’s important to me to ensure that your pet is as comfortable, happy, and healthy as they can be while you’re away! I’m happy to follow any instructions you have to care for your pet and your home. If there are any particular precautions you want me to take, or if there’s anything else I can help out with (e.g. bringing in mail, putting out trash cans, etc.) while you’re away, just ask!

About: I have a great amount of experience with animals. I have cared for Bunnies,Rats, Birds, Reptiles, Cats and dogs as well. I’m familiar with treating senior dogs and cats. As well as younger animals. I’ve had animals my entire life. Starting May 15th. I will have a flexible availability. I would fit pet sitting into my daily/ weekly routine but ensuring all animals are fed and have water. I will give them some play time. If walks are needed I will ensure I arrive earlier to give any dogs walks. I have two cats. Athena and Vixen Both girls are on a strict routine. They get fed wet food twice a day and dry food once. Their wet food includes multivitamins, probiotics and allergy medications. Both cats have separate diets that best suit their needs. I ensure all things for them are done before starting my day. e.i Litterboxes, water refills, medications, food and play time. Upon arriving home I greet them and play for about 30min-1hr.

“Had a great experience booking daily walks for three days with Jenna. Had to book super last minute and she was kind enough to accept and be flexible with us. She provided a rover card for each walk showing how far and long they walked as well as if my dog pooped 1-2x which was rlly helpful for me. jenna also went the extra mile of feeding him and making sure he ate after his walks while also keeping him company for a good amount of time afterwards too. All of which was rlly appreciated, well communicated, and shows how much she cares! I also received a daily picture which I looked forward to everyday :) not many dog walkers would do all of this but she did. Also, it was rlly important that my dog goes on a 30 min walk once every 24 h or else he won’t eat and starts throwing up from starving himself and she responsibly did show up within the asked/ flexible time frame:) Would book another walk with her in the future”

About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

About: Hello! My name is Steph and I have been living in Vermont for about 10 years now. I am a young professional who loves animals end enjoy helping others in caring for their pups! I own a mini Australian Shepherd named Oakley who is 6 years old. He joins me on most of my adventures that include running, biking hiking, paddleboarding, snowboarding, and overall just be outside. Spending time in the area I know great spots for pet adventures. I have been dog walking for 8+ years with dogs of all ages & sizes. I am capable of continuing training plans, giving medications, and any other pet needs. Please don't hesitate if you have any questions. I have a very flexible schedule over this summer and can provide daily pet care walks and services. I am also home most of the day. I currently live in a town house that has multiple floors & an open floor plan. I do not currently have a fenced in back yard however I live in a quiet neighborhood that’s perfect for walks and have nearby access to multiple trail networks.

About: I have had a dog all of my life. I love meeting new dogs and their owners. They teach us compassion, patience and love. I have taken care of senior dogs, one dog was 13 years old and lost his eyesight. I had an Old English Sheepdog and a cocker spaniel. I also took care of a Pug. I love dogs. I am currently retired. I am able to do morning and afternoon walks. The dogs is allowed to walk at their own pace. They can sniff and allowed to take a break if needed I walk with a harness. I stop periodically for focus and treats. The dogs are allowed to sniff and take in all of nature’s beauty.

About: I take care of my mom’s house, with two dogs and two cats, when she travels for work. Now I have started to do the same for my sister and friends. I work part time and create my own schedule. I have plenty of downtime and energy for house and pet care! My schedule is flexible. I have had several dogs, and now a cat, in my past who were escape artists, so I am cautious in that regard. I’m also from a big city and take all the precautions when it comes to securing a home, especially one with animals.

About: I love pets. Ever since I was little, playing with my pets and taking care of them gave me a sense of importance. To help do so for members of my community would be a great way to reconnect with the simple pleasures of quality pet time. I currently work full-time 4 days a week. The other three days of the week I have incredible flexibility. On the days that I do work, I can flexible in the mornings until 12, 12:30 latest. I will be unable to have pets at my own home due to landlord requests. But, I have ample experience walking dogs and ensuring they are properly supervised. I also am incredibly active and a strong individual, callable of heavy lifting and can mitigate any dragging from a leash.

About: I grew up with many dogs normally two at a time. I grew up with a great pyrenees and bernese mountain dog. We have a french bulldog now and a pit bull so I am good with any breed!! My mom used this same platform to watch dogs for a while and i would help her! I am home for college right now, and am in desperate need for a job! I love dogs and animals and have always works extremely well with all sorts of breeds of dogs. I am available any time! I will follow every instructions the owners give. I will care for the animal as if they were my own and show them immense amounts of love and affection!

About: I’ve been caring for my roommates, friends and family pets for at least 6 years. From Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I have the most expense with cats as I have my own and crew up with them my whole life. I grew up having animals whether it be fish, lizards, birds, cats cor dogs. I’ve always had a love for animals. Most of my roommates since moving to Denver have had dogs so I’ve had experience taking care of dogs of all sizes through my roomies. Im a flight attendant so I usually know my full month’s schedule on the 17th of the previous month. I can take on day before request usually within a day or more notice. Weekends require additional notice as they are not as common for me. I can come visit as early as 11am and as late as 5pm. I can be flexible depending on my schedule My pets in my own home are spoiled with love and toys and attention. I respect animals boundaries and have patience for my shy animals. I love hikes, walks, pets, and play time with furry friends. When roommates were out of towns I’d take care of feeding, walking and caring for their fur babies while they were gone.
