“Cara has been absolutely wonderful with Frita Beans! Frita can be a little timid at times, but Cara’s patience and gentle approach have helped her feel comfortable and happy on their walks. I feel completely at ease knowing Frita is in such good hands. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and kind dog walker!”

About: I have grown up with and taken care of pets my entire life. I love spending time with and find peace among dogs, cats, and chickens! I am a current part-time student and employee. I have the most consistent availability in the early mornings (6am-8am) and over the weekend. I can be flexible if needed! I am adaptable and take a calm and patient approach when meeting a pet to whom I am a new person. I understand that trust is mutual and takes time!
“Amelia did a great job with my dog Billy. He is very timid with new people but he warmed up to her quickly. She was very supportive and took the time for him to trust her.”

About: I’ve loved animals my whole life! Before my family got dogs, I begged my parents for any pet they would allow. Eventually they agreed to a dog and I’ve been caring for dogs ever since! I’m currently working full-time from home but my schedule is flexible so I have the opportunity to choose my hours and be available when needed! I always make sure to listen closely to owners when they tell me what their dog needs and how to keep them safe. My priority is making sure dogs are happy and healthy! I’ve dealt with a lot of anxious dogs in my life so I like to make sure every dog is comfortable.

About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats as a part of my family. It was always my responsibility to take the dog on walks, feed the animals, and clean the cats litter box. Additionally, I have experience in watching dogs and cats both for my neighbors and for friends and family when they are in need. I am currently a senior in college with classes two days of the week. This leaves my days very open and flexible to any needs! When caring for pets in your home I will respect your space, follow your wishes, and most importantly continue your routines for your pets so they are most comfortable!
About: I've been dog sitting for neighbors since I was 10 and have two cats of my own. I worked as a vet tech assistant at an animal hospital for a summer and worked with a variety of dogs and cats. Growing up as an animal lover in 4-H clubs I have years of experience with dogs (10 years), cats (13 years), horses (15 years), cows (10 years), pigs (3 years), and chickens (8 years). I am a college student with a flexible Monday, Friday, and weekend schedule. Mondays between 9:30-2, Fridays between 9:30-12 or 3-5 and weekends on a week by week basis. Dogs will always be leashed at all times when outside of the home. I will limit dog to dog interactions when on walks to prevent issues.

“Daniel has been walking my dog 2x daily as I recover from an illness and he has been fantastic. Always on time, very gentle, they have great walks with training - a great helping I am grateful.”

“Lianna did great with our Australian cattle dog. Great pictures and also very responsive in chats and punctual for getting our dog out when requested. Will use Lianna’s services again when needed!”

About: I’m a student at the University of Vermont who currently lives in Burlington. I’m trying to make money for college and I know that this job would be perfect for me! I’ve had a dog my whole life, and I’ve absolutely adored taking care of them. I’m good with all types as well, I currently have a low-energy chocolate lab mix and a high-energy rescue as well. I can deal quite easily with messes and certain necessities like diapers/medications/dietary needs. If your dog is reactive, I know lots about that as well and am willing to do anything to make them more comfortable. My current course schedule is very laid back, so I have plenty of free time to take care of your animals! I’m free essentially every day, bedsides Mondays. My 2 dogs currently have a fenced in backyard which they love to use to play fetch. I have a dual-ended leash as well for walks with them both. I throughly enjoy taking them out to trails for new scenery as well! I often bring collapsible water bowls and such on walks as well. I love taking pictures of animals, so you’ll certainly get updates from me! If you ever want to FaceTime me to see how your pet is doing as well, I’m totally fine with that! I’m open to just about anything :)
“Maria was very responsive, and timely! I appreciated that she took Bodhi a variety of paths and seemed to really be interested in what he needed most. Would definitely use her again in the future!”

About: I’ve had dogs for my entire life! I’ve been dog ansitting for neighbors as well as family since I was 14. I am a total animal lover and look forward to being around them. I’m also a medical studying student for those who may need elderly dog or just general care. I’ve also been a house sitter for families in my general area for very long. I’m currently a student however I do not have classes MWF so I am available throughout those days! I also get out of class at 4 PM on TTH so I have evenings then. My weekends are typically always free. I also need to unwind under my classes so it’s perfect to find a hobby and job doing something I love to aid that! I do not have any dogs living with me in VT currently but I have a TON of play and yard space for dogs!! I am someone that will always be keeping a close eye. I’m very responsible and I pride myself on that!!
About: I have loved animals and have grown up with animals my whole life. I’ve always had multiple animals, cats and dogs at the same time. I have had the experiences of growing up with two cats with very large personalities, a puppy to 3 year old newfoundland, and a very anxious, attention needing senior golden retriever (also deathly afraid of thunderstorms/rain and any loud noise ever). All have had an array of medical problems ranging from diabetes, kidney issues, torn acl/ligaments, arthritis, etc. I also have also always been considered my whole extended family’s dog sitter! I have been trusted by many family members and friends with their animals for feeding, walking/exercising, bathing/brushing, etc. I haven’t met an animal I have not been able to form a friendship with! I’m currently a college student on summer break with reliable transportation in Northbridge. I am available for sitting the entire week and I am always available for quick stop by for a walk/play session! I also am available for weekend stays. I can follow any precautions/instructions to keep your pet happy, comfortable, and safe! I am familiar with pets that use crating, electric fencing, or have anxiety, anything else you might need to take extra measures for the comfort of your pet! I can be attentive to dietary needs, preferred activities and each individual dog's comfort level around strangers. If your pet has specific needs, you can trust that I will be able to learn everything I need to know to take the best possible care of your pet.
About: I've had cats all my life so I have a lot of experience taking care of kittens to senior age cats. I've also cared for and walked dogs of all ages and breeds for neighbors, friends, and family members. I used to take care of other pets such as snakes, lizards, rabbits, hamsters, spiders, etc. I just love animals! I am a part time student but have plenty of time outside of studying to be taking care of animals! I usually have to stick pretty close to home because I don't have a car. Additionally, I cannot house sit for more than 2 nights / 3 days at a time because I need to take care of my own cat. Thank you for understanding! Unfortunately, I am unable to host your fluffy friends in my home at the moment but am more than happy to drop by yours! I love dogs but cats are definitely my favorite. I'm great at playing, brushing, and petting / snuggling with them and judging what they need and want. I don't mind being scratched accidentally or as a warning or nipped at by puppies but also will not let an animal beat me up for no reason. I have a lot of kitten experience too. I just hope to help your animal have a safe and fun time while you're away!

I can’t thank Charlotte enough for her help. Leaving sick pups is never easy, but she was so wonderful and attentive to their health needs. Her updates and pictures were the highlight of my day! She’s genuinely a cool person and so easy to coordinate with. If you're looking for someone trustworthy and kind, book Charlotte! 11/10

Haley met our dog when she was just 4 months old, the day after we rescued her! As a couple who works some long days, we really needed someone who could fit into a weekly routine with our schedule to help us potty train our new puppy. We absolutely attribute the success of house training our dog to Haley’s consistency and reliability. It is clear how much Haley has cared for and loved our dog as she even provided a reference for someone she trusts to take over her care when she leaves! We are sad Haley will be leaving our area and so incredibly grateful for the love, kindness and support she has shown our baby!

Tatiana has been walking my senior dog regularly for a few months now, and I would highly, highly recommend. Tatiana is super on top of it - always well-organized, great to work with, extremely reliable, considerate for my dog’s needs, and communicates schedule changes far in advance which makes it easy for me to plan out my own schedule. Tatiana is flexible and very responsive, and is definitely showing my dog lots of love! Belle really doesn’t warm up to people very easily, but she loves Tatiana! Can’t emphasize how great of a dog-walker Tatiana is!
