About: I’ve lived on a farm, taking care of a variety of critters, since I was 9. I grew up with dogs, cats, and other farm animals, and was trusted to feed, walk, and care for them. I also have experience dog sitting, as I’ve done it for relatives and friends in the past. As a full time senior at UVM, most of my weekends are free and I have quite a bit of free time during the week. I’m out of class every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday by 11:00am, and every Tuesday and Thursday by 5:00 pm. I would be more than happy to spend that free time petsitting, whether it be a long walk or multiple check-ins throughout the day. In my own home, I walk my dogs twice every day(about an hour each time). On my family’s farm, it’s also my job to let out the animals, muck stalls, feed and water them, and clean them when needed. With my cats, they tend to graze, so I set out their food in different spots and they’ll eat when hungry. The chickens get let out in the morning to roam and put back in the evening. For people I’ve dog sat for before, I’ve done a variety of things depending on the dog. Sometimes it has been a check-in and make sure there’s food, water, and a potty break. Other times it had been walking or full-time care.

Had a great experience booking daily walks for three days with Jenna. Had to book super last minute and she was kind enough to accept and be flexible with us. She provided a rover card for each walk showing how far and long they walked as well as if my dog pooped 1-2x which was rlly helpful for me. jenna also went the extra mile of feeding him and making sure he ate after his walks while also keeping him company for a good amount of time afterwards too. All of which was rlly appreciated, well communicated, and shows how much she cares! I also received a daily picture which I looked forward to everyday :) not many dog walkers would do all of this but she did. Also, it was rlly important that my dog goes on a 30 min walk once every 24 h or else he won’t eat and starts throwing up from starving himself and she responsibly did show up within the asked/ flexible time frame:) Would book another walk with her in the future
