Lucy can care for
Availability
As a recent graduate, my schedule is now more flexible, with daily remote work and horse care duties. I’m dedicated to providing excellent care for your pets, and while I can’t stay with them 24/7 during an overnight stay, I can guarantee four or more drop-ins per day and ensure they’re taken out as needed. My horse care responsibilities, which are about 25 minutes from Burlington, allow me to be available throughout the day.

A typical day
I would love taking your dog out for a walk around the neighborhood, but would love to curl up on the couch and do some work or a book! And typically lots of snuggles, and maybe some cookies (if you say it’s ok!)

Experienced Pet Care Professional
Pet care experience
As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve always been surrounded by pets, from dogs and birds in my childhood home, to my two beloved horses. My journey in pet care began at age 10 when I started pet sitting and dog walking for my neighbors. Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience in obedience and agility training with my family dogs, further deepening my connection with animals. I recently graduated from the University of Vermont with a minor in Animal Science, where I took numerous courses in animal care and management. Now that I’ve completed my studies, I’m excited to dedicate more time to providing top-notch care for your pets, whether it’s walking, overnight stays, or simply spending quality time with them. I currently have a horse in Westford, VT, and work remotely, which allows me the flexibility to be there when your pets need me most. I’m passionate about animals and look forward to caring for your pets. Please feel free to reach out :)
Reviews

Always awesome

Lucy was absolutely wonderful with our pup, Rylie! From the moment we met her, she was kind, attentive, and clearly experienced with dogs. She kept us updated throughout the stay with thoughtful messages and tons of adorable photos, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Rylie clearly loved being with her! We’re so grateful to have found someone we can trust, and we’d absolutely book with Lucy again. Highly recommend!

Awesome and reliable, the fur babies love Lucy
Lucy is great and when things go unexpectedly she's great at fixing the issue and communicating promptly.
