As a lifelong animal lover, caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up surrounded by dogs, birds, horses, and other animals, and I started pet sitting and dog walking for neighbors when I was around 10 years old. Since then, I’ve gained years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all kinds, from household pets to horses and farm animals. Horses have always been a particular passion of mine. I’ve been riding since I was a child and have extensive hands-on experience with daily horse care, barn management, feeding/nutrition, basic equine first aid, grooming, and general farm chores. I’ve also worked on multiple farms and stables, giving me experience caring for a wide variety of animals and understanding the responsibility that comes with maintaining their daily routines and well-being. I graduated from the University of Vermont in 2024 with a degree in Business Administration, along with a minor in Animal Science and a concentration in Equine Studies. My education, combined with years of practical animal and farm experience, has given me a strong understanding of animal care, behavior, and welfare. I currently have one horse, who I visit and care for in Westford every day, as well as a pet bird. I also work remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to spend time with your pets during the day. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, overnight care, or simply some extra company and attention, I’m happy to work around their individual routine. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets and your home. I’m responsible, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals. My experience with horses and farm animals has taught me to be observant, dependable, and comfortable handling animals with very different needs and personalities.
