About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

About: I’ve been taking care of family dogs as well as those of friends, neighbours, and extended family for about 15 years. I’m a lover of dogs of all sizes and breeds, and doing activities from walking, hiking, running, playing and even just chilling on the couch! Over the last couple of years I’ve been watching a few different senior dogs over night for long periods of time, providing medications and other remedies they may need. I’m currently between jobs so I am currently free Monday through Sunday, morning, noon or night for both day time care as well as overnight stays with any furry friends. I am currently living just outside of Burlington in a fenced in back yard with one 9 year old pug named Duke. I have enough space here for your pet to run around and play either solo or with my dog. I at this point do not have the capacity for overnight stays but am working on creating a space where that can be possible! In regards to other care, I am able to stay over night, check in daily or even just walk your pet when needed! I have a car so I can meet just about anywhere and take your pet on little adventures if desired. I love to stay active so playing, walking, hiking, running and swimming are some of my favourite activities to do! However if needed I can kick my feet up and be a homebody for the more lazy pups.

“We had a sitter back out last minute with a trip we had booked for a couple of months. We have a young, anxious, high strung dog and we were worried about leaving him somewhere that’s too stimulating, like a kennel. We were traveling from Maine to Vermont so I decided to try Rover and see if somebody could watch him for us in the city we were staying in, so we could be available if there was a problem. Paul responded quickly and accepted Bjorn’s stay within five days of the trip. We kept Bjorn during the day but we dropped him off in the evenings. Paul was quick to respond in all communications about Bjorn, whether it be about drop off/pick up, care, questions about how he was doing. He even problem solved when Bjorn was too nervous to use the bathroom, and asked me for tips when he was struggling to eat. We also got pictures throughout his stay. He made me feel super comfortable leaving my nervous baby with him and didn’t make us feel like Bjorn was too much (which I know he is). We appreciated Paul’s care of Bjorn so much, it really took the stress off during our trip.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life. I’ve had experience dog and cat sitting for about ten years now. I’ve volunteered at my local animal shelter where I walked dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I take a big role in caring for my family dog, Gus, who is my pride and joy! I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. About: Hi! I’m Logan. A little bit about me- I am a junior at UVM studying art education. I currently work at a preschool summer camp in Richmond, VT. I’ve owned dogs and cats for my whole life and since I was old enough I have been taking care of my family pets. I currently live with my own cat here in Vermont and my family has 2 dogs and 1 cat in my hometown. When I was living at home I would regularly walk, play, feed, bathe, and love my pets. Right now I only do that for my cat! I have administered pill oral medication to my cat and dog; and have administered syringe oral meds to my cat. I have cared for my senior dog who passed away at 13 from old age. I have 2 years of experience in caring for senior horses. I would care for them by feeding, administering medication, preparing for farrier visits, grooming, and mucking stalls. Due to them being senior horses they were not able to be regularly exercised. I have always had a deep appreciation for all animals yet this experience made my heart grow bigger for all different types of animals. Reach out if you would like me to help care for your pets! I am available before 8am and after 5pm on M/T/W/Th for drop in visits. I am only able to do walks after 5pm on those days. I am available all day on F/S/Su for drop ins and walks. I care for my own cat by providing her with at least 15 minutes of play time 3 times a day. I feed her breakfast and dinner at a scheduled window of time each day. I give her the medication she needs put into her food with dinner daily, as well as cleaning her litter daily. About: Hi! I work from home and make my own schedule so I’m able and happy to be at your pups beck and call/woof?! My Husky-lab mix, Duke, which I had for 10 years changed my life. Besides the experience of caring for him, and his issues with arthritis, along with his stubborn Husky streak, I’ve also cared for many of my friend’s dogs in various capacities. I recently lost him which has now given me the motivation and time to pursue spending it with other’s dogs. That’s as simply as I can put it. I have the time to be with your dog when you can’t and promise you he will get the most personal and attentive care you could want. I love walking, hiking, a vigorous game of catch, a downtown stroll on Church Street, or doing whatever your dog wants to do - I have the time and the love to do it. So as of now there are no other dogs at home; your dog will literally be part of the family and have 24-hour company and supervision, except perhaps an hour or two for errands. I don’t have a yard but a small balcony, but I am a 5-minute walk from the green path, North Beach, Arm’s Forest, Ethan Allen Park, Leddy Park and I have a dog-safe vehicle to travel anywhere, if your pup likes a nice drive. I also have A/C for those hot summer months! They’re also allowed on the furniture and beds. I’ve had years of experience taking care of all of my friend’s dogs; walking and sitting … but always for love not for a fee, hence why there are no ‘paid’ reviews. Happy to answer any questions. I work from home and my schedule is completely flexible and will revolve around your pets; that’s it. I’m at home full time except for an hour or two to run errands. I have a 3-story townhouse with balcony. Your dog will have run of the house but if stairs are an issue, he can be contained to the main level, if necessary. I can gate the stairs. Your dog is allowed on beds and furniture and outside on balcony when I’m home. There are no other dogs here.
About: I have been helping out friends and family with pet sitting for years. I enjoy being outside and staying active, love all animals, and am familiar with administrating medicine to older felines but am willing to learn for dogs/other breeds as well! I work part time as a server as well as a nanny. I have a rather flexible schedule and will be happy to meet clients in the middle with the frequency of potty breaks etc. I have worked with animals of all sizes and am capable of walking large dogs as well as putting them in their crates if needed. About: I’m a student at the University of Vermont who currently lives in Burlington. I’m trying to make money for college and I know that this job would be perfect for me! I’ve had a dog my whole life, and I’ve absolutely adored taking care of them. I’m good with all types as well, I currently have a low-energy chocolate lab mix and a high-energy rescue as well. I can deal quite easily with messes and certain necessities like diapers/medications/dietary needs. If your dog is reactive, I know lots about that as well and am willing to do anything to make them more comfortable. My current course schedule is very laid back, so I have plenty of free time to take care of your animals! I’m free essentially every day, bedsides Mondays. My 2 dogs currently have a fenced in backyard which they love to use to play fetch. I have a dual-ended leash as well for walks with them both. I throughly enjoy taking them out to trails for new scenery as well! I often bring collapsible water bowls and such on walks as well. I love taking pictures of animals, so you’ll certainly get updates from me! If you ever want to FaceTime me to see how your pet is doing as well, I’m totally fine with that! About: I love pets. Ever since I was little, playing with my pets and taking care of them gave me a sense of importance. To help do so for members of my community would be a great way to reconnect with the simple pleasures of quality pet time. I currently work full-time 4 days a week. The other three days of the week I have incredible flexibility. On the days that I do work, I can flexible in the mornings until 12, 12:30 latest. I will be unable to have pets at my own home due to landlord requests. But, I have ample experience walking dogs and ensuring they are properly supervised. I also am incredibly active and a strong individual, callable of heavy lifting and can mitigate any dragging from a leash.

About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

About: I’ve been taking care of family dogs as well as those of friends, neighbours, and extended family for about 15 years. I’m a lover of dogs of all sizes and breeds, and doing activities from walking, hiking, running, playing and even just chilling on the couch! Over the last couple of years I’ve been watching a few different senior dogs over night for long periods of time, providing medications and other remedies they may need. I’m currently between jobs so I am currently free Monday through Sunday, morning, noon or night for both day time care as well as overnight stays with any furry friends. I am currently living just outside of Burlington in a fenced in back yard with one 9 year old pug named Duke. I have enough space here for your pet to run around and play either solo or with my dog. I at this point do not have the capacity for overnight stays but am working on creating a space where that can be possible! In regards to other care, I am able to stay over night, check in daily or even just walk your pet when needed! I have a car so I can meet just about anywhere and take your pet on little adventures if desired. I love to stay active so playing, walking, hiking, running and swimming are some of my favourite activities to do! However if needed I can kick my feet up and be a homebody for the more lazy pups.

It took a few days for Miso to adjust to his first ever sitter and Aaron handled it well - checking in with us when he noticed that Miso wasn't eating and seemed a little home sick. By the end of the week, Miso seemed to be having a great time. Aaron sent pictures and updates throughout the week, which was really appreciated. We would highly recommend Aaron. He was open to meeting with us before we left on vacation and asked great questions (vet info, local contacts, likes and dislikes, etc). We usually leave Miso at a boarder, but since our trip was going to be longer than usual we were hoping to find someone local that could give Miso more personal attention and affection - Aaron made us feel comfortable leaving Miso with him for an extended period of time.
