“Julian and Jocelyn are excellent hosts! My husband and I were faced with a situation where our usual hosts were not available and we needed to leave our Boston terrier in new hands for a month; also the longest duration we were separated from our baby to date. Needless to say, this was not an easy decision for us. From the moment we corresponded with Julian and Jocelyn are fears were put to ease. They are extremely professional and responsive to emails and texts. We were able to schedule a meet and greet and were impressed by the questions they asked to understand our dogs needs and personality. As soon we entered their home, Layla felt very comfortable and relaxed. She was able to quickly pick up on Julian and Jocelyn's calm and warming energy. At one point our Layla made herself comfortable on their couch and completely settled right in. While we were traveling we received beautiful photos (these really are professional grade pictures) of Layla and warm updates about their time together, which we loved. In the pictures we could see how calm and relaxed Layla was. Julian and Jocelyn also went out of their way to keep Layla active and even bathed her when they felt she needed it. They were also very flexible with changes to our schedule. Working with Julian and Jocelyn was an absolute pleasure and knowing our dog was in such good hands made our trip so much less stressful. We highly recommend Jocelyn and Julian and will definitely leave Layla in their great care in the future. I know she misses them already! Thank you Jocelyn and Julian! It took a few days for Miso to adjust to his first ever sitter and Aaron handled it well - checking in with us when he noticed that Miso wasn't eating and seemed a little home sick. By the end of the week, Miso seemed to be having a great time. Aaron sent pictures and updates throughout the week, which was really appreciated. We would highly recommend Aaron. He was open to meeting with us before we left on vacation and asked great questions (vet info, local contacts, likes and dislikes, etc). About: I am hoping to find a family with a dog (or dogs) that I can walk a few days a week every week. I grew up with a Saint Bernard and now two corgis, so I am used to all shapes and sizes of dogs. I have a big fluffy black cat of my own named King Louis. I work full time as a restaurant manager and like to fill my days with spending time outside and taking care of animals/walking dogs is an added bonus! I recently went on my first week long vacation away from my cats and felt so comfortable right away leaving them in Posie's care- when Posie came to get a tour and do a quick meet with them, she got right on their level and was so gentle. Posie sent photos every day, was very communicative, and comfortable giving medicine. One of the cats got an eye infection right before we left and I felt terrible adding eye drops to their regiment for Posie to tackle, but she was totally unfazed. This same cat is terrified of everyone who isn't me or my husband, and by just a few days in she was letting Posie approach and pet her, which proved what a natural she is with animals to me. About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.

To help do so for members of my community would be a great way to reconnect with the simple pleasures of quality pet time. I currently work full-time 4 days a week. About: At home (Corinth, VT), I have grown up with 30 chickens, 3 sheep, a dog, and now 3 cats (we had 5 at one point!). I have experience dog sitting for multiple weeks at a time, dog walking, and am patient with anxious, easily aggravated, and loud dogs. I currently work in the mornings on Saturdays, but am free the rest of the week to tend to pets' needs! I love going for walks so an active dog is right up my alley, however I have plenty of experience with less active dogs as well (my family had a 16 y.o. chocolate lab). I have cared for multiple pets while their owners were on vacation in-home, however, I also have experience caring for a cat for 3 weeks on a drop-in basis. I am responsible with keys, as I have sat for homes in both rural environments as well as in Boston, MA.

“Julian and Jocelyn are excellent hosts! My husband and I were faced with a situation where our usual hosts were not available and we needed to leave our Boston terrier in new hands for a month; also the longest duration we were separated from our baby to date. Needless to say, this was not an easy decision for us. From the moment we corresponded with Julian and Jocelyn are fears were put to ease. They are extremely professional and responsive to emails and texts. We were able to schedule a meet and greet and were impressed by the questions they asked to understand our dogs needs and personality. As soon we entered their home, Layla felt very comfortable and relaxed. She was able to quickly pick up on Julian and Jocelyn's calm and warming energy. At one point our Layla made herself comfortable on their couch and completely settled right in. While we were traveling we received beautiful photos (these really are professional grade pictures) of Layla and warm updates about their time together, which we loved. In the pictures we could see how calm and relaxed Layla was. Julian and Jocelyn also went out of their way to keep Layla active and even bathed her when they felt she needed it. They were also very flexible with changes to our schedule. Working with Julian and Jocelyn was an absolute pleasure and knowing our dog was in such good hands made our trip so much less stressful. We highly recommend Jocelyn and Julian and will definitely leave Layla in their great care in the future. I know she misses them already! Thank you Jocelyn and Julian! It took a few days for Miso to adjust to his first ever sitter and Aaron handled it well - checking in with us when he noticed that Miso wasn't eating and seemed a little home sick. By the end of the week, Miso seemed to be having a great time. Aaron sent pictures and updates throughout the week, which was really appreciated. We would highly recommend Aaron. He was open to meeting with us before we left on vacation and asked great questions (vet info, local contacts, likes and dislikes, etc). We usually leave Miso at a boarder, but since our trip was going to be longer than usual we were hoping to find someone local that could give Miso more personal attention and affection - Aaron made us feel comfortable leaving Miso with him for an extended period of time. About: As a lifelong animal lover with years of experience, I have had the pleasure of caring for a wide range of pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals. My experience spans from handling playful puppies to providing tender care for senior pets from friends and family for over five years. I am free this July until August and otherwise I will be going to UVM this fall so my availability will vary based on my schedule. I’m not planning on taking any pets to my house since it is not pet safe. I will gladly though pet sit in your house.
About: I grew up with many dogs normally two at a time. I grew up with a great pyrenees and bernese mountain dog. We have a french bulldog now and a pit bull so I am good with any breed!! My mom used this same platform to watch dogs for a while and i would help her! I am home for college right now, and am in desperate need for a job! I love dogs and animals and have always works extremely well with all sorts of breeds of dogs. I am available any time! I will follow every instructions the owners give. I will care for the animal as if they were my own and show them immense amounts of love and affection!
About: I’ve had pets of all kinds of decades - from dogs and cars and bunnies to chicken and horses and cows. I currently have my own to rescue fur babies - Paka a 13 year old tabby cat and Philo a 2 year old Bernese mountain dog. I’d love to help you take care of your pets as well! I work remotely and part-time so I like to walk dogs (any my cat who likes to join her giant little brother on walks) in the morning, at lunch, and in the evenings. I can’t board cats because my Tabby does not like other feline friends and I can only board dogs who are used to cats and okay with other dogs. Philo is very sweet and a gentle companion for nervous dogs. We take walks every 4-5 hours.
