About: As a lifelong dog owner, animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve owned four Labrador Retrievers over the years and currently have one lovable lab, Ellie Bear, who absolutely loves making new furry friends. My experience goes far beyond basic pet care — my first dog, Nala, had a litter of 8 puppies, giving me hands-on experience with canine pregnancy, birthing, newborn puppy care, feeding schedules, socialization, and raising puppies in a safe, loving environment. I understand the importance of patience, routine, exercise, affection, and making pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. Whether your pup loves playtime, cuddles, or simply having companionship, I treat every dog like family. 🐾 🐾 Availability & Care Schedule 🐾 Your pup will never be left alone — someone will always be home 24/7, whether it’s myself, Pep, or Kevin. We provide a safe, loving, family-style environment where dogs receive constant attention, care, and companionship. Your pup’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. We provide a loving, family-style environment where dogs are treated like one of our own. We have a large fenced-in yard perfect for running, playing, fetch, and getting lots of energy out safely. Our chocolate lab, Ellie Bear, absolutely loves making new friends, chasing tennis balls, and cooling down afterward in the pet pool on warmer days! 🐻💦 For boarding stays, I can easily accommodate your dog’s sleeping preferences. If your pup is crate trained, I’m happy to crate them when needed, or they can relax in a cozy dog bed for bedtime. And if your dog is used to extra snuggles and sleeping close to their humans, we don’t mind cuddles in bed either — we want them to feel as comfortable and at home as possible. Most importantly, your dog will never be left alone. Someone will always be home 24/7 — whether it’s myself, or Kevin — so your pup will always have supervision, companionship, love, and care.

About: Hey! Im Skye! I’m a senior at the university of Vermont studying political science and history. I’ve had pets from gerbils to horses my entire life and have cared for pets with special needs, disabilities, and aggression. I would love to spend some quality time with your pup or kitty whether it be snuggling all day or going for a hike! My number one priority is your pet’s safety and well being. —— Open to boarding smaller or low energy dogs, must be okay with cat in house. My schedule varies, but I work from home most of the time. If im watching your pup it will be a day I work from home so I can give them attention throughout the day. If watching a pet in your home, I follow the provided instructions, while ensuring to keep everything clean and tidy. If boarding in my home, your pet is welcome to the entire apartment, when supervised, and will mostly hang out in the living room or my room. Pets are allowed on couches and beds. We do have a cat in the home that will ignore the dog as long as it is not aggressive towards her.

About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.

“We had a sitter back out last minute with a trip we had booked for a couple of months. We have a young, anxious, high strung dog and we were worried about leaving him somewhere that’s too stimulating, like a kennel. We were traveling from Maine to Vermont so I decided to try Rover and see if somebody could watch him for us in the city we were staying in, so we could be available if there was a problem. Paul responded quickly and accepted Bjorn’s stay within five days of the trip. We kept Bjorn during the day but we dropped him off in the evenings. Paul was quick to respond in all communications about Bjorn, whether it be about drop off/pick up, care, questions about how he was doing. He even problem solved when Bjorn was too nervous to use the bathroom, and asked me for tips when he was struggling to eat. We also got pictures throughout his stay. He made me feel super comfortable leaving my nervous baby with him and didn’t make us feel like Bjorn was too much (which I know he is). We appreciated Paul’s care of Bjorn so much, it really took the stress off during our trip.”

It took a few days for Miso to adjust to his first ever sitter and Aaron handled it well - checking in with us when he noticed that Miso wasn't eating and seemed a little home sick. By the end of the week, Miso seemed to be having a great time. Aaron sent pictures and updates throughout the week, which was really appreciated. We would highly recommend Aaron. He was open to meeting with us before we left on vacation and asked great questions (vet info, local contacts, likes and dislikes, etc). We usually leave Miso at a boarder, but since our trip was going to be longer than usual we were hoping to find someone local that could give Miso more personal attention and affection - Aaron made us feel comfortable leaving Miso with him for an extended period of time.
