“Aaron was a great fit for our dog - Miso loved spending the week with him. It took a few days for Miso to adjust to his first ever sitter and Aaron handled it well - checking in with us when he noticed that Miso wasn't eating and seemed a little home sick. By the end of the week, Miso seemed to be having a great time. Aaron sent pictures and updates throughout the week, which was really appreciated. We would highly recommend Aaron. He was open to meeting with us before we left on vacation and asked great questions (vet info, local contacts, likes and dislikes, etc). We usually leave Miso at a boarder, but since our trip was going to be longer than usual we were hoping to find someone local that could give Miso more personal attention and affection - Aaron made us feel comfortable leaving Miso with him for an extended period of time. About: Hey! Im Skye! I’m a senior at the university of Vermont studying political science and history. I’ve had pets from gerbils to horses my entire life and have cared for pets with special needs, disabilities, and aggression. I would love to spend some quality time with your pup or kitty whether it be snuggling all day or going for a hike! My number one priority is your pet’s safety and well being. —— Open to boarding smaller or low energy dogs, must be okay with cat in house. My schedule varies, but I work from home most of the time. If im watching your pup it will be a day I work from home so I can give them attention throughout the day. If watching a pet in your home, I follow the provided instructions, while ensuring to keep everything clean and tidy. If boarding in my home, your pet is welcome to the entire apartment, when supervised, and will mostly hang out in the living room or my room. Pets are allowed on couches and beds. We do have a cat in the home that will ignore the dog as long as it is not aggressive towards her.

About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.

Lou can be a bit grumpy and doesn’t warm up to strangers very quickly but by night two with Charlene he was snuggling up with her! She is a true dog whisper with a very calming and welcoming demeanor!!! I would recommend her 100 times over!!!! We will 100% be coming back to her!! Lou loved her a ton and played well with her cute pup Scout!”

About: I’ve spent my whole life caring for my family’s, neighbors, and friends dogs, cats, and everything in between. I love being active outdoors and sharing that with fur babies makes it even better. I work 3 days 12 hour shifts at the hospital so I’m able to and would love to give your dog all of the time and care they need. I’m working at the hospital Sunday-Tuesday, 12 hour shifts, and I am available Wednesday through Saturday all day and am active and able to give your fur baby the time and care they need. I live in Burlington and within walking distance and short driving distance to the waterfront, dog parks, and walking trails and mountains. My apartment is kept neat and free of chewable things that shouldn’t be chewed on lol

“Christina was amazing with my pup Rue! I had only ever left her with friends or family before and was hesitant to leave her while I was out of town for my sister's wedding. She was able to take Rue with only a couple of days notice which I was grateful for. She has a large yard with tons of grass for the dogs to play in. Rue made friends with a couple pups she watches for daycare and I felt much better knowing she had dogs to play with. She was excited to see me when I came back but also didn't want to leave. “Let me just start by saying my dog is kind of a handful with seperation anxiety and a tendency to be pretty vocal, it has been hard to find a sitter that is patient and understanding enough that I also trust with my pup. Kimberly is by far the best dogsitter we’ve ever had, she went above and beyond for my Tony and clearly is very experienced with dogs. He has never been so happy and calm when I’ve picked him up anywhere else, she provided daily pictures/videos/updates and was a breeze to communicate with.
