About: I have had dogs and pets all my life growing up. I love to take care of friends and family’s pets for them. More than happy to help take care of other’s like they were my own! Currently working in a hospital so my schedule varies but can always plan around you and your pets needs to care for them. Weekends usually work the best for me. With your pets in my home, they will have plenty of space to run around and play. I also am close to a small park and beach. I am more than happy to walk them so they still get all the fun and attention they would get at home!

About: I've been taking care of pets for two decades and will love them like I love my own. I believe the best way to teach a dog is positive reinforcement and will work with whatever routines you have established with your furry family member. I work from home 3 days per week and the days are flexible except Thursday when I have to be at my office in Montpelier. I can go home on my lunch breaks for walks on the days I'm in the office (and you're close to Montpelier) and can work from your home if I'm housesitting and you have internet. As a gal in her 40s I'm pretty low key and will be very happy spending my time with your pet in your home or taking them on adventures if that's what they prefer. I love hiking and walks and have lots of friends with dogs if socialization is something you'd like for your pup.

“I was desperate to find a place for Abby, a 3 year old Shepherd mix with high anxiety and separation issues. I needed to find overnight care so I could help my parents move here from Beverly, MA. I was afraid of boarding as I've only had her 6 months and she came from a high kill shelter in TX. My fear was that she would regress in an overnight facility. She can go for a short day stay, but overnight would be stressful. Brooke was kind and understanding of her needs and issues. We did an overnight trial, and she kept me posted and sent me pictures with reports of how she was doing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Brooke to anyone- she went above and beyond and I will definitely be booking Abby for the time I need in the future!”

About: I grew up around animals of all kinds on a farm and had the privilege of owning and loving our dog, Betty Lou for 14 years. I work from home and am looking for ways to make extra money while staying active and fitting in with my kids' school schedule (9 am-3 PM). We have a fenced in yard and I will follow whatever guidelines are needed in the client's home. I understand each situation is different and each pet needs specific care.

How I plan on caring for your pet is primarily determined by client instruction. I will do my best to care for your baby the same way you would! I prefer to use positive reinforcement for training or behavior modification, and I like to keep feeding and medication schedules quite consistent. I also really enjoy sending lots of photo check ins! I feel most comfortable when you and your pets feel most comfortable, and it’s incredibly important to me to establish a relationship built on mutual trust. To me, your home is a workplace environment, and will be treated with the same respect.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats ranging from under one year to 14 years of age. I have administered medication for dogs and cats (orally and via shot). I have provided care for extremely social dogs and anxious pups—I am confident in my ability to provide connection and care.I have also taken care of chickens and am comfortable doing so. I have been living with a golden retriever puppy for the last two years so I’m eager to spend time with some pups of kittens! I am a middle school teacher on summer break. My schedule for July is empty!!! I need work in July before going back to school. Trying to save up to get my own pup… I am unfortunately not available to host dogs at my house since I am living with my parents. I am 24 years old and that’s a bit too much of an ask.
