“The love and care which Deb has given our dogs is extraordinary. She kept them during our two three week vacations in Italy and Thailand and tended to a medical issue with our vet despite great inconvenience to herself. Our dogs love her and their tails wag as they meet her each time. Deb teaches us to much about our dogs that we are especially grateful for her suggested techniques. You will not find a more caring or conscientious carer for your dog.”

“It was nice to be able to leave for 4 days knowing our beloved puppy would be in good hands. Liz’s dogs Pacha & Trevor are great buddies to spend a few days with. It was nice to see them romping around in tall grass together in the videos that were sent.”

“We recently went on an overseas trip and needed somewhere for our pup to stay. We definitely didn't want to board him at a kennel/doggie daycare, so reached out to Eric. I can't put into words how happy we were with Eric & his family for how they took care of Jerome. Frequent photos and updates allowed us to enjoy our trip while knowing that Jerome was being treated as part of their family. Well definitely be reaching out to Eric again if/when we need a place for Jerome to stay. Would rate 10 stars if we could, such a great experience (for us and Jerome) :)”

“Danielle was fantastic with my dog, Meg. I contacted her last-minute, and she was responsive, flexible, and professional. We did a meet-and -greet the night before, and she stayed in touch the whole weekend with thoughtful updates and photos. Meg came back calm, content, and clearly well cared for, no adjustment period needed. Danielle is caring, grounded, and highly attentive. You can tell she really sees the animals she’s working with. I’d absolutely book with her again.”

“Brooke was amazing!! She answered quickly and with short notice, and I felt very comfortable leaving my 10 month old puppy with her (and Bailey)! She sent updates and pictures, and was very flexible with timing of drop off and pick up as I had a long drive. Would recommend to anyone in the area or if you’re taking a trip to Stowe or Burlington!”

“Diedre was amazing with our boy Tito, who has special needs. He has anxiety and was recently diagnosed with epilepsy so is wobbly from the phenobarbital he has to take. He had a lovely playmate and Diedre made sure he wouldn’t slip on the floors and was not left alone at night. It is clear that she has lots of experience with pets and girs over and above what is expected. I wish she lived closer to us!”

“Piper was amazing! She took great care of Roo and made her fee right at home. She was super accommodating to Roo’s routine and sent daily updates with photos of their adventures. Highly recommend Piper for your dog boarding needs!”

“Victoria and her family did a wonderful job watching our dog! They made her feel right at home and set my mind at ease while we were gone on vacation. We will definitely contact them again in the future!”

About: I am a pet sitter. I will pick up your dog(s) and take them to the park, TAM trail. On leash/off leash. Care for them at your home or mine. I am a full time stay at home mom and caregiver to my daughter with special needs who is in school during the day. I also have a teenaged son in the high school as well. We love animals and this work allows us to have a pet without all of the responsibilities and allows me to work in a flexible way that is important for my family. I will care for your pets at your home or mine. That is truly up to you. Iam willing to do a meet and greet to start.
About: I've been taking care of pets for two decades and will love them like I love my own. I believe the best way to teach a dog is positive reinforcement and will work with whatever routines you have established with your furry family member. I work from home 3 days per week and the days are flexible except Thursday when I have to be at my office in Montpelier. I can go home on my lunch breaks for walks on the days I'm in the office (and you're close to Montpelier) and can work from your home if I'm housesitting and you have internet. As a gal in her 40s I'm pretty low key and will be very happy spending my time with your pet in your home or taking them on adventures if that's what they prefer. I love hiking and walks and have lots of friends with dogs if socialization is something you'd like for your pup.
“Matt accepted our last-minute boarding request and took excellent care of our high-maintenance dog for an entire weekend. We appreciated how he accommodated her eccentric behavior with a smile, and we look forward to booking him again!”

About: Hi there! My name is Ally (they/them) and I am an experienced doggy day care employee and groomer-in-training looking for flexible pet care opportunities while finishing up school. In addition to having cared for pets most of my life, I have extensive professional experience caring for, mediating behavior of, feeding, and administering medications to up to 100 or more dogs at a time! I would be more than happy to train your puppy, show your senior pet some love and comfort, or spend some quality with your kitty! While my work experience is primarily with dogs, I love pets of all kinds, and would be so excited to care for any pet, no matter how “unusual” (snakes, lizards, spiders, insects, rodents, birds, etc.) I look forward to getting to know you and your pets! As a student I have a lot to do in a day, so drop in visits/walks are ideal, but house sitting is a viable option as well! How I plan on caring for your pet is primarily determined by client instruction. I will do my best to care for your baby the same way you would! I prefer to use positive reinforcement for training or behavior modification, and I like to keep feeding and medication schedules quite consistent. I also really enjoy sending lots of photo check ins! I feel most comfortable when you and your pets feel most comfortable, and it’s incredibly important to me to establish a relationship built on mutual trust. To me, your home is a workplace environment, and will be treated with the same respect.
“Alison took great care of our dog Brooke! She was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Alison even went the extra mile by dropping Brooke off at our wedding venue to take a few photos with us and then picking her up so we could enjoy the rest of our day.”

“Due to circumstances outside of our control our plans changed at the last minute. Kimberly worked with us to help modify our booking, which was a huge relief with everything we had going on. Jedi had a grand time with Butter, and we will certainly be using Kimberly again when we travel.”

“Left Ripley for a night/long day. Kim was very flexible with accommodating my drop off and my constantly changing pick up. (thank you!!) She took great care of Ripley in the short time she was there. They went to Runyon, played with her lovable golden, and the other neighbor doggo. She tired my Rip out nicely and I'll definitely be reaching out again in the future!”

“Dima took great care of my boy while I was away. She provided lots of picture updates and was flexible with me when plans changed for my trip a little bit. She has an excellent backyard space and was great at keeping up his feeding and walk schedule. Thanks Dima!”

“Lily was great to work with! We needed someone last minute when our original plans changed and we needed someone to take our pup from another caregiver who was going out of town. Lily was communicative and shared pictures each day. We would definitely reach out to Lily in the future! Our pup was a happy guy when we got him so we know all was good:)”

“Meghan did a great job! This was my first time leaving her with someone unfamiliar and it went great. Meghan sent updates, which was really appreciated. After picking my pup up I could tell she was comfortable and had a good time. I would book Meghan again!”

About: "I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I had many dogs and cats growing up. Currently, I have a two-year-old dog who is highly active, and we enjoy outdoor adventures together—hiking, skiing, and even paddleboarding. I believe in treating each pet as an individual, with unique needs and personalities, ensuring they receive the specific care and attention they deserve. Whether it’s providing exercise, companionship, or simply keeping them comfortable, I approach every pet care situation with responsibility, love, and dedication." I work 2 days a week as a nurse but the rest of my days are very flexible. During my off days I am able to be home with your pet and take them on long walks and adventures. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a very large, securely fenced-in yard where your dog can play off-leash and enjoy plenty of space to run and explore. We live in a quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood next to a scenic bike path, making it ideal for peaceful walks and enjoyable outdoor adventures. Inside, my home is pet-safe, with a calm and welcoming environment designed to keep your furry friend comfortable and secure. My own friendly, playful dog will also be there to keep your pet company, ensuring they have a buddy for fun and companionship. You can trust that your pet will be treated like family, with all the attention, care, and supervision they need to feel safe and at ease.
