“Jamie stayed with my dogs on the night of the town’s fireworks show and gave them lots of love and attention and sent me an incredibly thorough update about how they did. We will definitely book with Jamie again!”

“Molly was great with our dog, who can be a bit quirky at times. She was communicative and left our house in terrific shape. Most importantly our pup was extremely well cared for while we were away!”

About: As a life-long pet owner, I understand the difficulties and challenges in caring for the fur-babies that you love with all your heart. Every pet has their own personality, needs, and quirks, and I take the time to get to know each one. My goal is to provide patient, loving care that helps your pet feel secure, happy, and relaxed in your absence. I’ve just started my own business, which has given me the flexibility needed to accommodate a variety of schedules, including daytime visits, evenings, and weekends. I work hard to provide the level of care needed—and often above—to give every pet in my care a happy, healthy, and safe stay. I respect established routines, keep environments clean and secure, and treat each pet with patience and care. Clear communication and trust are important to me, and I’m always happy to share updates.
“Sarah is AMAZING! She was extremely flexible with start and end times. I appreciated that she came over to meet the boys prior to the dates I needed her to watch them. She sent pictures throughout the weekend and kept me updated on how things were going. I would definitely recommend her, and will be rebooking with her in the future! Thank you, Sarah!”

“Whitney provided excellent care of our dog and cat as well as our house! She was communicative during her stay and even willing to adjust plans when our flight got delayed. Thank you, Whitney!”

“Haley did a great job house sitting my puppy while I was out for a few hours. She was communicative ahead of time, arrived on time, and provided updates with photos throughout.”

About: I've had dogs since I was very little. Very comfortable with anything from small and anxious to big and jumpy. Currently have 2 cats at home, a very young senior and a old kitten. I am a full time graduate student with some intermittent periods of free time and am always looking to take a study break and go hang out with some pets. Im currently a Doctorate of Physical Therapy student at UVM. So whenever I'm not in class I'm free to spend it with your furry friend. Since I have cats, I always make sure my home is pet safe and there isn't anything around that could hurt them or get them sick.
“Sala stayed at my house for 5 days. She was wonderful and took excellent care of my two cats and my senior dog (he has medical conditions that require a strict medication schedule 3x a day). She was very communicative and provided regular updates/photos. I struggle leaving my senior dog with anyone because of his medical conditions, but he was in good hands with Sala and I was able to enjoy a vacation without worry :)”

“Kristen was right on time! We had a nice meet and greet with Bruno. She was very sweet and gentle with Bruno. He is timid because we just rescued him last year. We are working on him to trust her. Definitely will have her back.”

About: I have years of experience caring for my own cats and pet sitting for both dogs and cats. I understand how important it is to find someone who treats your pets like family. Whether your dog is full of energy or prefers a slow stroll, I meet every pet where they are. I genuinely love taking long walks just for the fun of it, and I bring the same enthusiasm to every outing with your pup. I am patient, attentive, and comfortable with all personalities, from the more anxious and shy to the high-energy doggos who need a friend that can keep up. As a grad student at UVM with an open summer schedule, I am able to weave pet care into my days with ease. I love being up early and getting in my morning walk, but I am available any time of day for drop-ins, play time, or longer adventures. My goal is to make your pets feel safe and cared for. I keep their environment clean, check for ticks after every walk, and ensure they're fed, hydrated, and relaxed while you're away.
“Disa took great care of our boys and house while we were away for the weekend. She was very easy to work with and provided regular updates as well as photos. Highly recommend working with Disa!”
“We love having Matt watch Lilly. She also loves when Matt comes to play with her, because she gets spoiled. He takes her on lots of walks and plays with her. We get lots of updates with pictures or videos.”

“Sydney was great. She met us prior to our trip to meet our pet and discuss any special instructions. She communicated throughout our trip and sent update photos regularly. We really appreciated all Sydney did for our pet. Our home was in excellent condition when we returned. We will definitely utilize Sydney in the future.”

“Chris did a great job with our three high energy dogs when I had to find somebody last minute. He sent daily updates and provided the dogs with plenty of playtime. He left the house clean and was communicative throughout our two-week trip. I would absolutely book him again!”

“Cheyenne did a great job watching our two small dogs in extremely cold and snowy weather. The dogs got their medications, meals and snacks. The dogs were calm and happy when we got home. She cleared a path for the girls to do their business and kept the house clean too. 10/10 highly recommend”

“Madeleine was great with our dog and our house was spotless when we returned home. Our dog was happy and well taken care of. We appreciate Madeleine and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Lacy took excellent care of our two dogs, including our pittie who can be a handful! She kept us updated regularly and we loved all the photos she shared. Will absolutely book her again.”

Shannon took care of Bennie at my home for 2 nights/3 days. Everything went well, she was very responsive. She took him to some nice wooded trails for walks. The house was clean and Bennie was content when I returned. I would definitely have her walk Bennie and/or house sit again.

Paul and his wife stayed overnight at our home for two days and one night to watch our Shih Tzu Monty, and it went great. We’d never met Paul in person before booking, but he was communicative and responsive from the start, which made it easy to trust him. We came home to a clean house and a happy dog. Paul sent photos of Monty on walks throughout the stay, which we really appreciated. Would definitely book again and happy to recommend him.

Beatrice has provided the best experience I have had with Rover so far! I was struggling to find someone to watch my puppy toy fox terrier who is extremely high energy. Beatrice said no problem. Communication was good while I was gone and I came home to a happy little pup and a clean house. Thank you for giving my pup a lot of love

Mallory has taken care of my dog multiple times doing house sitting and drop-ins and has always done a great job! She’s responsive. I always come home to a happy dog. My dog is reactive and can be difficult to handle. She took great care of my home. I highly recommend!

Kristen is the best house and pet sitter we have ever had. She spent 10 days taking care of our dog and house. When we returned, the house was even cleaner than I left it, packages and mail neatly stacked, and dog happy and healthy. Kristen communicated all important issues promptly, and even went so far as to find, remove, and save a tick on our Beagle. I can not recommend her enough!

Zoe was a truly incredible dog sitter. She took amazing care of our dog (and house) while we were away for a week. She was responsive, sent daily updates, and our dog could not have been happier. We really appreciated Zoe and hope to have her stay with our dog again!

It’s been years since we’ve been able to travel due to finding solid pet care. We were so happy to meet Scarlett who is both loving and professional as a pet sitter. She took great care to listen attentively to all the instructions and unique needs of our three pets (a bird, kitten and elderly dog!). She comminuted well with us in the planning stages (which put my mind at ease) and throughout our trip. We were so grateful to come home to a clean house with all the pets healthy and happy!

Braedyn stayed at our house for 8 nights and did an exceptional job taking care of our 1 year old dog, Tully. He is an active pup and she got him out multiple times per day for walks and adventures. She was super communicative, sending pictures and updates while we were away and was very respectful of our home. I highly recommend using Braedyn for pet/house sitting and will use her again in the future for sure!

Posie is an absolutely stellar pet and house sitter. I recently went on my first week long vacation away from my cats and felt so comfortable right away leaving them in Posie's care- when Posie came to get a tour and do a quick meet with them, she got right on their level and was so gentle. Posie sent photos every day, was very communicative, and comfortable giving medicine. One of the cats got an eye infection right before we left and I felt terrible adding eye drops to their regiment for Posie to tackle, but she was totally unfazed. This same cat is terrified of everyone who isn't me or my husband, and by just a few days in she was letting Posie approach and pet her, which proved what a natural she is with animals to me. Definitely hire Posie!
