About: I have volunteered at two animal shelters since 2021 where I've gained experience taking care of dogs of all sizes, cats, and rabbits. I have also been a pet-sitter for friends and family for a number of years. My family has always had pets since before I was born, and I've grown up with cats, dogs, and guinea pigs. About: I have had a dog all of my life. I love meeting new dogs and their owners. They teach us compassion, patience and love. I have taken care of senior dogs, one dog was 13 years old and lost his eyesight. I had an Old English Sheepdog and a cocker spaniel. I also took care of a Pug. I love dogs. I am currently retired. I am able to do morning and afternoon walks. The dogs is allowed to walk at their own pace. They can sniff and allowed to take a break if needed I walk with a harness. I stop periodically for focus and treats. The dogs are allowed to sniff and take in all of nature’s beauty.

Sonja was amazing with our energetic and anxious pupper. She gave frequent updates on how he was doing, reached out when Baxter had a scrape, went after a package and was eating less than normal. She worked through our changes in schedule and sitting by him to make sure he ate. It was a wonderful experience and helped us relax on vacation.
Sofia was so kind and patient with our 3 dogs who have a variety of needs, including some intense anxiety. They can be difficult to take care of and she handled it thoughtfully and skillfully.
