“Allison was wonderful to work with. She took great care of our pups and home. Allison communicated regularly, including sending daily photos of our fur babies, and was responsive any time we had questions or reached out. We returned home to relaxed, happy pups and our home as we left it. Allison also helped us with a few additional items while we were away (bringing in the mail, feeding our son's new fish etc.), which we really appreciated! We would definitely recommend Allison and look forward to working with her again. Thank you!”

“Steven is great! He’s friendly and our dogs couldn’t have been happier and more well taken care of when we got home. He was quick to take our sitting job in a pinch and we look forward to having him hang with our dogs again in the future!”

“Molly was a joy to meet, we were both instantly aware she was a great fit to pet sit our 4 fur babies - 2 cats 2 dogs - she's sweet, kind, warm, with a gentle spirit and my pets were immediately attached to her - my Corgi didn't leave her side the entirety of the meet and greet(s). She has amazing attention to detail and appreciated my very long and extensive 'note' of instructions! She never hesitated to take care of everything for the entire stay, and if she had a question she reached out. My home was exactly how it was left when we returned from our vacation, and my pets very happy and content. Also she's wonderful at sending pictures of my fur babies throughout the visit. I would definitely recommend Molly as a pet / house sitter!!”

“Lucy was FANTASTIC!! She was very communicative and she loved the animals very much! I will definitely be hiring her again in the future! She was very responsible and took amazing care of the house!!”

“Zoe is remarkable! Her compassion and care show in her engagement with our fuzzy loves and with us. Great updates with thoughtful questions and offers that went way above and beyond. This was a long time away and during really frigid temps. Zoe was cheerful and responsive throughout. Returned to very happy pets. I highly recommend Zoe with absolutely zero hesitation.”

“Kristen was right on time! We had a nice meet and greet with Bruno. She was very sweet and gentle with Bruno. He is timid because we just rescued him last year. We are working on him to trust her. Definitely will have her back.”

“Sarah is AMAZING! She was extremely flexible with start and end times. I appreciated that she came over to meet the boys prior to the dates I needed her to watch them. She sent pictures throughout the weekend and kept me updated on how things were going. I would definitely recommend her, and will be rebooking with her in the future! Thank you, Sarah!”

“Nina was amazing!! She provided thorough, regular updates, kept the house clean, and most importantly, kept our two girls safe and loved! Our dogs have some behavioral quirks, and Nina was so kind and patient and able to accommodate their needs. She also came for a meet and greet beforehand! Would recommend a million times over. Thank you, Nina!”

“Chris was diligent, thoughtful and caring for my two dogs. He even sent videos of the dogs playing with Chris and their toys. He did all of the extra things I asked him to do. When I reached out to him by text he responded almost immediately. And he investigated and fixed the internet problem! I give him 5 stars because he deserves it!”

About: In the last decade+ I've taken care of half a dozen dogs and nearly a dozen cats for friends and through word-of-mouth, including a very senior chihuahua who was blind and deaf and needed diapers changed. I always had cats and dogs around growing up, including two difficult dogs from shelters who had issues. I live with an energetic pit-lab mix, and my parents' three rescue cats are still my sweeties. In the past I volunteered at an animal shelter, helping to socialize cats and walk dogs. I hike every day if I can, so if your dog enjoys vigorous exercise on trails, I can provide that too! I'm an adjunct college professor and freelance writer, so my work is part-time or sporadic, with much of it being done at home. If I'm available, I'll have plenty of time to linger and give attention to your pets! I'll follow your lead on what situations you're comfortable with for your pet, in terms of where I bring your dog for a walk, how they interact with other animals and people, etc.
“Brooke, as always, was super communicative and supportive while we were away on vacation. Our pup received top notch care! We get daily updates and photos and Brooke is always willing to step in and help us out. Thank you Brooke for everything you do!”

“We had a great experience with Michaela who house sat with our kitty Chickadee. Michaela stayed in touch frequently and sent us lots of updates and photos. It was very reassuring to see that things were going so well. Michaela is clearly an animal lover -- our kitty warmed up to her right away. She is warm and friendly, responsible and communicative, and we felt very comfortable having her in our home. We had such peace of mind knowing Chickadee was in her care while we were away. We will definitely call upon Michaela again. I recommend her highly.”

“Beatrice was communicative and did a great job keeping my dog company while we were away. She has experience and seems well equipped to handle a range of situations. Would book her again in the future!”
