About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

“I was desperate to find a place for Abby, a 3 year old Shepherd mix with high anxiety and separation issues. I needed to find overnight care so I could help my parents move here from Beverly, MA. I was afraid of boarding as I've only had her 6 months and she came from a high kill shelter in TX. My fear was that she would regress in an overnight facility. She can go for a short day stay, but overnight would be stressful. Brooke was kind and understanding of her needs and issues. We did an overnight trial, and she kept me posted and sent me pictures with reports of how she was doing. “We couldn’t ask for a better experience with Chad. Our family stayed in Smugglers’ Notch/Stowe area and our resort (if you do timeshare, you understand) doesn’t allow pets. We still wanted our dog close and finding Chad is awesome. He took the time to discuss ahead of boarding all necessary details about Pakun. He even asked for written notes and sent daily pictures and videos. We are kept updated especially with important details about our dog’s behavior. We could tell our Pakun was treated so well. Our English Springer’s hair was not tangled and he was clean when we picked him up. It is hard to believe since our dog has videos of walks, playing in the park and playdates with other dogs,he even did enrichment activities. Our dog is used to group boarding when we go on vacation, he usually comes back smelly and all tangled up. We are so pleased with our experience this time and we are so glad we brought him to have his own vacation with Chad.”

About: I've been around dogs since I was a child, and I see them as part of the family. I got my first dog when I was eleven, but our house grew and grew with multiple dogs, and I currently help care for my family's six dogs. In addition, my parents and I have fostered dogs together, which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and backgrounds, including those who needed extra patience, structure, and reassurance while adjusting to new environments. Chad's calm, nurturing demeanor and unwavering patience and consistency with our often anxious and always energetic guy makes such a huge different for our family. Flynn's 2 days a week with Chad mean that he is a calmer, happier, less anxious dog at home. All of this being said, I think the biggest recommendation that we could give would be that whether it was at day care drop off or Chad pulling into our driveway for a visit, Flynn can never get to Chad fast enough. About: I grew up with many animals, both my own pets, and animals on my grandfather's dairy farm (he was also a vet). I live in the country in Richmond, and have cats, young kids and animals Rover won't let me name in the description...but they provide eggs. We have dogs in our "extended family" and we are well accustomed to dogs but we do not have one ourselves at this time. If your dog is 100% safe with those people and pets and well-behaved, let's talk! Independently insured. We enjoy hosting dogs, and are home most days of the week for most of the day. We enjoy walking with dogs and playing fetch (if dogs like to do that) on our hill in our yard. We would need to do a meet & greet to make sure it is a good match. Our yard is not fenced, and we are on a dirt road in the country with woods on the property and surrounding it, so dogs should not be prone to bolting etc. They must be 100% safe with young kids, cats and free range egg producers. No aggressive or reactive dogs please.

About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.

About: I have 5+ years of experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including multi-dog homes. I also have experience giving medications and caring for pets with special needs (cones, diapers, etc) I stay calm, pay attention to details, and make sure each pet feels safe and comfortable. On Mondays and Tuesdays, I’m unavailable for about 6–8 hours at a time. Wednesday through Sunday, my schedule is flexible, allowing for frequent check-ins, walks, and potty breaks throughout the day. I try to keep pets on their normal routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable and less stressed while you’re away. That means sticking to their feeding schedule, walks, potty breaks, and whatever they’re used to at home. “Had a great experience booking daily walks for three days with Jenna. Had to book super last minute and she was kind enough to accept and be flexible with us. She provided a rover card for each walk showing how far and long they walked as well as if my dog pooped 1-2x which was rlly helpful for me. jenna also went the extra mile of feeding him and making sure he ate after his walks while also keeping him company for a good amount of time afterwards too. All of which was rlly appreciated, well communicated, and shows how much she cares! About: I have a great amount of experience with animals. I have cared for Bunnies,Rats, Birds, Reptiles, Cats and dogs as well. I’m familiar with treating senior dogs and cats. As well as younger animals. I’ve had animals my entire life. Starting May 15th. I will have a flexible availability. I would fit pet sitting into my daily/ weekly routine but ensuring all animals are fed and have water. I will give them some play time. If walks are needed I will ensure I arrive earlier to give any dogs walks. I have two cats. Athena and Vixen Both girls are on a strict routine. They get fed wet food twice a day and dry food once. Their wet food includes multivitamins, probiotics and allergy medications. Both cats have separate diets that best suit their needs. I ensure all things for them are done before starting my day. e.i Litterboxes, water refills, medications, food and play time. Upon arriving home I greet them and play for about 30min-1hr.

About: Hi my name is Lily and I am an avid animal lover! I am an experienced professional dog walker and pet sitter. I have worked professionally for a local dog walking and pet sitting company in my hometown of Richmond, Virginia and this was easily my favorite job ever! I love the canine companionship and have been a dog owner and care giver since I was very young. I have grown up around dogs (very big and very small) and always loved helping my family raise our dogs throughout childhood and into raising my own cat and dogs for the past 20+ years. I have a small chihuahua named Lola who I rescued from the Richmond VA SPCA 11 years ago. She's very sweet and loves play dates with other dogs but never minds hanging back at home with the rest of her pack. She enjoys shorter walks in her senior years and can often be found soaking up the sun and recharging in the backyard in the warmer months. For six years Lola had a close chi companion named Paco who I rescued from Tennessee in 2020 who is unfortunately no longer with us. He sadly lost his battle with congestive heart failure in January 2026 and Lola and I miss him so much everyday. In Paco's early rescue months it took a lot of time and compassion for him to open up into the sweet boy he was. He lived a very happy and fulfilled life until the end. Helping him blossom into the best, most perfect chi, was easily one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Lola and I have settled in South Burlington, Vermont and despite the cold winter months, we love our new home! In addition to being a professional dog walker and pet sitter with Barksley back in Virginia, I have also provided pet care for my friends and families fur babies for many years now. I have great doggie transportation with ample room in the back of my Subaru Forester for your pup to relax in if the adventure takes us on the road. Your pet will be sure to be in the best hands with me on any adventure we go on and I look forward to playing fetch with them in the future! As a long time dog owner Iv always kept a daily routine based around caring for my pets. That usually means early mornings letting the pups out and feeding them before getting the day started. We always go on our daily dog walk and on the weekends my pups love an adventure outdoors. I have a Petcube camera and baby gates that keep my pups safe while I’m away. We allow our pets on the furniture and love snuggling up to them. They also have many beds available for snuggling if they want as well. We keep fresh water available in multiple spots throughout the house. When I’m dog sitting or boarding I make sure to ask the owner what their pet prefers in terms of a bed or crate. I also make sure to get any information on feeding and potty breaks, or any other funny quirks I would need to know about your fur baby! While boarding dogs, I make sure to check in on the pet cube camera if i ever need to spend any amount of time away.

About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

“This was our first time using Rover and my wife and I were a little uneasy about the service. However, as soon as we meet Alex and Pete, we knew they would take great care of our dog and they did. Our dog loved staying at Pete and Alex's place. Pete and Alex are very kind, caring, and loving dog sitters. They took wonderful care of our dog. Our dog also had a great time staying at their place and came home happy and tucker out from all the outdoors fun. We have a senior dog with a few health issues to pay attention to and Alex and Pete easily took care of our dogs needs. We fully recommend Pete and Alex and definitely ask them to watch our dog again. I think our dog had such a great time that he was a little disappointed to return to the city”

“I was desperate to find a place for Abby, a 3 year old Shepherd mix with high anxiety and separation issues. I needed to find overnight care so I could help my parents move here from Beverly, MA. I was afraid of boarding as I've only had her 6 months and she came from a high kill shelter in TX. My fear was that she would regress in an overnight facility. She can go for a short day stay, but overnight would be stressful. Brooke was kind and understanding of her needs and issues. We did an overnight trial, and she kept me posted and sent me pictures with reports of how she was doing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Brooke to anyone- she went above and beyond and I will definitely be booking Abby for the time I need in the future!”

“We couldn’t ask for a better experience with Chad. Our family stayed in Smugglers’ Notch/Stowe area and our resort (if you do timeshare, you understand) doesn’t allow pets. We still wanted our dog close and finding Chad is awesome. He took the time to discuss ahead of boarding all necessary details about Pakun. He even asked for written notes and sent daily pictures and videos. We are kept updated especially with important details about our dog’s behavior. We could tell our Pakun was treated so well. Our English Springer’s hair was not tangled and he was clean when we picked him up. It is hard to believe since our dog has videos of walks, playing in the park and playdates with other dogs,he even did enrichment activities. Our dog is used to group boarding when we go on vacation, he usually comes back smelly and all tangled up. We are so pleased with our experience this time and we are so glad we brought him to have his own vacation with Chad.”
