“Ella was extremely attentive and reliable when taking care of my cat while I was away. She followed all of my care instructions and was even able to get my cat to come out and play with her, which he doesn't always do with new people. I was a bit nervous leaving my cat for an extended period but Ella made it a very comfortable experience. Overall, Ella was outstanding and I would highly recommend her to others looking for pet care!”

“The best! Alison was friendly, attentive, and asked questions I hadn't even thought of. She stayed extra when one of our boys threw up just to make sure he was okay, took lots of pictures and notes, and was very communicative all around. One of the best Rover experiences I've had. Definitely book with her again if she's available. Thanks Alison!”

“Marissa was very professional and did a wonderful job caring for my cat Eddie. Eddie is skeptical of strangers and hasn't felt comfortable approaching everyone who's watched him, which means he can be pretty stressed by the time I return. Within the first visit Eddie was comfortable approaching Marissa for treats/scratches, and his stress was very low when I returned!”

“Nicole was so generous in sending pictures and videos for a nervous, first time boarder. She took excellent care of our beloved kitty and we will definitely book with her again!”

About: I have owned several breeds of dogs and cats. I have experience in dog sitting dogs large and small as well as experience babysitting people and dogs at the same time. Most importantly, I love all pets! I am currently a student at Berkeley. While I spend most of my time studying my schedule is very flexible. I look forward to dog watching between my studies. I am an avid runner and can tire out even the most athletic pups. However, I also enjoy calm slow walks and have a lot of experience with elderly dogs experiencing hip and joint issues. I am also happy to wash dogs if needed and I am experienced doing so with a variety of breeds. Thank you so much for providing this opportunity and I look forward to meeting you and your pooch soon! For the most part, my schedule is incredibly flexible and I work mostly remotely. **However, I do occasionally work weekdays from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm so please note that dinner needs to be outside of those hours. I am happy to bring an autofeeder if it is appropriate.** (Outside of those hours, I am totally available to spend time with your dogs and cats! I will dote on your pets! I love to pay attention to animals and help them warm up to me. No requests for diets, physical activity or medication administration are too much for me!

“Whitney took wonderful care of our cats and lizards! She was very communicative, sending frequent pictures and updates and responding quickly when we wrote. Our pets and our house were in excellent, trustworthy hands, and we are so grateful!”

“Holly took fantastic care of her Bandit this week during her drop-in visits with him. He's very picky about who he likes and he took to Holly right away. They are good friends now. Thanks Holly!”

“Allison was absolutely wonderful with our cat Rosie! She stayed over at our house with our cat and sent us a couple of check in texts while we were on vacation. Knowing Allison was with Rosie really allowed us to relax. Rosie can be a bit shy, but it seems like she really warmed up to Allison! When we need to go out of town again, we won't hesitate contacting Allison!”

About: I've taken care of dogs as long as I can remember, but have been doing it as a side job since I was about 12. I love all dogs, whether they are big, small, old, or young. I am currently working in the morning and early afternoons, so evening and night (walks, check-ins, etc.) would be ideal for my schedule at the moment! I have a large unfenced yard and a jittery, but friendly pup that would love to get to know yours! I also have access to yards that are fenced in!:)

“Lou was great! We had a nice meeting to show him around before we left, then he visited our cats and chickens as scheduled while we were gone. I really liked getting text updates after each visit. Will definitely use him again when we travel.”

I’m attentive to details and welcome any special instructions you might offer to make your pet comfortable and take care the best care of them. I have a fairly flexible schedule on the several days/wk and most weekends that I’m not away working that will allow for plenty of time to walk, feed or check-in on your pet. About: I have had pets my whole life, and love spending time with animals! I have experience house and pet sitting for cats and dogs, but also chinchillas, bunnies, birds and turtles! I love getting to know an animal’s personality and finding ways to spend time with them that we can both enjoy. I am currently a college student home for the summer. I am a biology major planning on applying to vet school, and am hoping to spend my summer taking care of animals based on their specific needs! I love being outdoors, I can take your pup for walks or just spend quality time with them! I have a large fenced backyard, and two dogs for your pup to play with! Both my dogs are friendly, Rose (65lb 9 year old golden retriever) is calm and a bit shy, Poppy (20 pound 4 year old cavapoo) has more energy despite being smaller. We live in a very walkable neighborhood with a park as well! I am comfortable feeding, walking, playing with your dog and/or bringing them on adventures with me like a hike or playdate!

About: Hi! I'm Kenzie, and I'm a rising sophomore at The College of Charleston and I'm back in my hometown for the summer. I absolutely LOVE animals, and I have the most experience with dogs and cats. I have a puppy of my own, Quinn, and he is my entire world. I have my own car, so I'm flexible and reliable. Animals bring so much joy and personality into the world, it's always rewarding working with them. I love staying active and being outdoors and connecting with people who love their pets as much as I love mine. I also want to make it clear that I understand the trust you're putting in me from personal experience. My mom works full time, and I attend college so we had to find a dog walker/boarder for my puppy Quinn. The absolute relief we felt when we found an amazing dog walker was indescribable, and I hope to do this for someone else. I am home for the summer and am interested in having Rover be my full time job for the summer. I love dogs and cats, and there would be nothing more rewarding then spending time and caring for dogs and cats as my job!! I have a puppy and I have had dogs my entire life. I am open to boarding, walks and just dropping in to check on the pup/cat! I am also open to taking the animal to my own home. I love long walks, and would happily take a dog to a trail, hike or just my yard, whatever the owner wants!!

I am always willing to learn new things, especially for the sake of the animals that I am responsible for, as well as encourage them to have fun, feel loved and know that they are always in the best care! I have high standards for myself in this regard, so you can always expect that your pet will be in the best hands. Not only that, but you can also count on my loving your furry friend as my very own. I work full time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; I take hour long lunch breaks, traveling home to care for my pup and taking care of business in between. Weekends are open, within reason, and I am willing to modify my schedule for the right person and pet. I will follow clients’ specific guidelines on how to care for their pet(s), observing and reporting anything and everything that occurs during each visit. Routine and consistency is everything, and I will follow these to a “T”!

17. Harper D.
“Harper absolutely adores our pets and we are SO lucky that she comes over to play when we need her. She's taken care of our pets for weeks at a time, but mostly, she covers weekends and occasional outings. Every time the dogs see Harper, they sidle up next to her for snuggles, sniffs and love. Harper has a special way of treating each of our pets individually and ensures they feel happy and safe with her, whatever the adventure. Harper notices when our dogs are stressed and takes extra time to cuddle and reassure if needed. Mostly, Harper is super kind and very responsible, so I know, no matter what happens, my beloved fur babies will be cared for in the best way imaginable.”

18. Kenzie S.

20. Laurie P.
“There are three things that set Laurie apart from other dog sitters: 1. She is reliably caring and understanding with our pet. She gets our dog, and loves her quirks. 2. Laurie is totally dependable. She trekked through 12’’ of snow up a steep driveway to visit our pet on a cold, winter morning. 3. Laurie is proactive about resolving problems whether they are behavioral, medical or something else. If your pet won’t take her medicine, she can handle it. If your pet needs some extra TLC, she can handle it. Laurie also walks our dog, sits with her and gives her much-needed attention and checks in with texts, photos and videos. I highly recommend her.”
